Dr. Ross and the team at GRI are incredible individuals. I went to see Dr. Ross after having bad experiences with one of the "big name practices" in ophthalmology in Phoenix. Dr. Ross is compassionate and truly wants the best for your eyes. The office has all of the latest and greatest technology and the team spends a significant amount of time with patients. Everything is explained to you and never feels rushed. As a young individual that is nervous about my vision, this has been so helpful. It is a completely different experience and one of the best I have had in the medical field.

I completely trust Dr. Ross with my vision and will continue to be a patient of GRI as long as I am in Arizona.

Nurse Heidi here out on the beat and reporting the exceptional, so-so and the meh businesses in Mesa/Scottsdale area. I have had eyefloaters for years and decided enough is enough. They are becoming worse, are debilitating, dangerous and just downright depressing. Dr. Ross and team fit me in between customers due to my concern for a left eye white out and to my surprise I discovered my original retina Dr.apparently missed two growing cataracts. What? The team at Global is phenomenal and although I did not have laser at this visit, I was happily referred to a reputable retinal doctor that would be able to help me from this point. The diagnostics were done at Dr. Ross's office and I feel very confident about the amazing treatment, care and eye-opening education I received from Dr. Ross and staff. I will go back for follow up care pre- cataract surgery. Please people, and healthcare workers have your eyes thoroughly examined It is worth the money and time spent. Thanks everyone. Blink blink!

Wonderful. I have returned to duties requiring vision acutely. Volunteering, night driving and vehicle operation. Reading, as a past time I have also returned to. Didn't realize I had restricted myself so much till after the proceedures.

Global Retinal Institute is by far the greatest clinic to receive treatment. You will be in the very best hands of Dr. Ross. She is current with research, has the latest technology, and is the most compassionate doctor I have met. Eye diseases and injuries are frightening. You can really lean into Dr. Ross's expertise and comfort without worry. Dr. Ross not only treats the injury/disease but also the "whole person". I receive more health education/recommendations from her than my own General Practioner. Dr. Ross is an inspiration and I view her as a mentor. I enjoy listening to her teachings when I go in for appointments. I am not an easy patient and ask too many questions. Dr. Ross always makes time to answer questions completely and with honesty.

Dr. Ross and her staff work very hard to serve their patients and community. I am fortunate to be a patient here.

I am extremely grateful that I found Dr. Ross at Global Retina a few years ago. It is a totally different experience than being at one of the big retina group "factories" as I call them. Dr. Ross is a caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable retina specialist who is in practice herself, so you will always see her. You are never rushed. She spends a lot of time explaining your condition and issues. You'll even see your scans and tests on a large computer screen, making it much easier to visualize and understand. Dr. Ross's staff is top-notch, kind and professional. I have a particularly complicated retina history and Dr. Ross is the only one I completely trust for my care.

After consulting several doctors in Canada and feeling like a number without results, I did my research and decided to consult the global retina institute. It was the best decision of my life. I felt listened to and Dr. Ross took the time to explain the cause of my floaters and how to take care of my eyes with his amazing team. Besides, it's the only clinic I could see my eye floaters on the computer. Dr. Ross operated on me to remove floaters from my eye, it was a quick operation and a quick recovery. His team took the time to call me to inquire about my state of health during my recovery. I felt like a member of their family and appreciated a lot

I was referred to the Global Retina Institute by my ophthalmologist when I developed blurred vision from some persistent floaters. The procedure was painless and results immediate. The blurred spots in my vision are gone and my vision seems to be better than it was prior to developing the floaters.

As a pilot, I would recommend this procedure to anyone having difficulty with floaters. It’s non-invasive with virtually no recovery time.

I have experienced and noticed that Dr. Ross and her team prioritized the sense of humanity and realizing the human values that led to a more responsible and accountable service delivery.

Dr. Ross was the only Dr.agreed to see me in-person while I was still COVID-19 positive in a day that she doesn’t see patients.

I was suffering MGD and Uveitis that got highly severe with a COVID19 hit last year. Reaching her, she agreed to see and treat me.

As she started the treatment, she and her team was very responsive and always agreed to see me in a day notice when needed in a addition to the regular scheduled visits. There have been many times that they stayed very late to see me and provide me with the care and treatment needed.

Dr. Ross’s other very important plus point I have experienced is that she spend time to educate you about your health issues, shows very interactive videos and tells you about the causes, symptoms and things that could elevate or help healing your eyes health.

My name is Angela and I have had to live with eye floatees (PVD) for over 20 years. I am semi retired and have begun to build my real estate business. In the last 2 years they have become increasingly worse and decreasing my ability to drive during cloudy weather, twilight and at night. Last 2/26/2022 I was returning home from a memorial service about 6pm in a rural area. As I got into my truck I could not figure out why my truck console was so dark. Then I proceeded to drive home and it seemed I was driving in a tunnel as there were no street lights. I then drove to another street where I knew there was street lights in hope that would help. It did somewhat but I still drove in the far left hand lane so I could bump the curb to ensure I was still in the correct lane. This was terrifying! I drove white knuckled all the way home. How was I to build my business if I could not meet my clients. My dream of a business owner was not looking good. Most days were extremely exhausting – the constant blinking to make these floatees move from the front of my vision. There were days, I would just sit with my eyes closed to get some sort of rest. I grew tired of this and then made a medical eye appointment and that is when I was diagnosed with PVD. My options were to live with it or eye surgery. Surgery was terrifying. I made another appointment with a surgical ophthalmologist Dr. Robert Hobbs who also stated surgery but I may be a better candidate for an eye laser procedure. The consultation with Dr. Robin Ross was such a learning experience and a literal eye opening event. It was so comforting to know that someone else besides me was seeing these gray patches. The largest one in my right eye was 4 mm long – that was huge. After the first treatment I was stunned - I COULD SEE! I did not have to continually blink to move these floatees around. I am an avid golf player and it was just simply amazing to look out onto the course and see clearly – the trees, leaves and just the beauty of our earth. I am so thankful to Dr. Robert Hobbs for referring me to Dr. Robin Ross – she has saved my life, my business and now I interact with my family and friends anytime…thank you for saving me. I had a total of 3 visits and it was so worth it. Thank you so much Dr. Robin Ross, Sherry and all the staff…. You are the best.

This team over exceeded expectations by a mile!

Dr. Ross and her warm hearted team took incredible care of me when I had a shingles reaction in the area of my left eye.

This was in an emergency situation and I had to get help fast to avoid possibly effecting my vision. It was a very unfortunate and uncertain time but this team took immediate action and handled it with ease.

I would happily recommend Dr. Rosses team to anyone of my friends and family, they’re excellent at what they professionally and even better people!

Dr. Ross and her staff at the Global Retina Institute she created gave my wife and I the most amazing gift of better vision and education to maintain good vision. Both of us were facing blindness down the road.
I did not believe there was any hope for my having MD because I had gone to 4 Ophthalmologists who were specialists in MD to ask about what I could do. The answers prior to going to the Global Retina Institute was nothing for my dry MD except vitamin supplements. In addition for 17 years none of the Optometrists or Ophthalmologists who all saw the hole in my retina felt it was an issue. Dr. Ross saw It had become larger with fluid starting to leak. Dr. Ross repaired the hole in my retina during my initial visit. She explained to me the many types of MD and why mine fortunately was stable and should remain so. I learned from Dr. Ross that my vision changes were from my having dry eyes and not the MD progressing. I had known that I have dry eyes, but no one had explained the cause let alone a corrective course of action beyond using clear eye drops for lubrication. Dr. Ross corrected the root cause and provided education on long term care. The difference in my vision is amazing.
My wife had floaters to the point of not seeing. Dr. Ross operated on one of my wife's eyes for multiple issues along with removing the floaters. As she is rapidly healing my wife is getting back clear vision. Later this year she will have the other eye operated on.

What Dr. Ross has done for both of us is life changing in such a positive direction as we go forward in life. Both of our moms went blind.

Dr. Ross's skill and caring, and the wonderful staff are the best!
They also take the time at every step to provided understanding and education.

A bonus is a very comfortable facility unlike any other medical facility.
