Unprofessional and unethical business. I called to pressing 1 for English and next pressing pound to get someone on the phone talking the voice phone female says one is not valid number and they lie about domains being available or not. Ever since millions were at risk of being hacked along with business names T-mobile, Robinhood, and others. The fact that business owners and well known people like Naomi O promote GoDaddy shows why they are receiving money with or without inspections on the business and the person themselves their true intentions. They can take a look at someone's website and finding anything to steal for others unless if lawyers are there they would not do anything or try to lie through lawyers. I was suggested for those who would like to sell items even without having to be business but at least being cautious as best as I can is enough and GoDaddy is one. Money will not go with you once you die.

This company stole a lot of money from me and refused to refund which a domain i have never used. My daily wish and prayer is to see this company burn down one day. I will keep praying and i believe one day it will happen.

Joined in 2013. Great service with both web and email hosting until some genius behind a desk decided to migrate the whole company to Microsoft365 at Xmas 2020. Over the last year, thousands of stored Emails dissapeared, I missed important communications which led to lost clients and thousands of $$ in revenues, because they forgot to take into account paying customers like myself who use mozilla Thunderbird to group their comms. I was just informed that the next MS "upgrade" will no longer provide access to the services that I have been paying for years. This is typical MS bullying at its finest. Once again, When an organism, living or corporate, becomes too big, the oxygen can no longer reach the center. You have caused me 12 months of headache and financial/organisational mayhem. The transition to BS365 was NOT "a roaring success" and having tech support transfered to third world countries is a abject failure. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

This is one of the worst hosting/domain companies in the world. I signed up for the Auction service where they changed me for membership, and then put me through the ringer to create an account ultimately requiring tax information which they had no legal authority to demand. I never used the service, and within 15 minutes of creating the account, I requested a refund. They refused, saying providing a refund was "against their policy". So they charged me for a service, demanded personal and tax information they had no legal right to, and then refused to refund the payment for the service even though the service was never set up or used. This is a form of extortion, and should be investigated by the proper authorities.

Absolutely elated with their service so far in the UK, took about 30 mins to purchase a domain and get my website published! So easy to edit and tweak, looks fantastic on desktop and mobile, GoDaddy app works great too.
Definitely 5 stars from me.

We have been having business email outages for two days. Very poor customer services and can't talk to a real person who is in charge of the escalation and still waiting.

Provides service for spammers, while their abuse form seem to send mails to the not monitored spam abuse inbox.

Purchased godaddy email and it will not forward. Have spent over 2 hours on the phone with support. This has been going on for over 10 days. This is a godaddy known issue. No support to fix it, only tickets created that go into a black hole. Waste of time.

I am the admin for a bunch of domains bought through GoDaddy some time ago for the church that I work for (Greater Life Church in Matthews, NC). I've posted this on ConsumerAffairs and TechRepublic looking for a response.

We've been going through some changes here and the previous admin switched our two-factor authentication system to our main business phone which is actually a land-line, therefore it can't be used for two-factor authentication because, with GoDaddy, two-factor authentication can only be done through text messaging.

My first move when I started working on it was to try to get them to turn two-factor authentication off because we can't get texts through that number, but I've been getting the run-around. I go through the standard steps of "didn't get a text" which sends me to ChangeUpdate.com.

They ask for a picture of the ID of the previous account holder, so I send it, then after 5-6 days (even though it says only 3) I get an email saying "The copy of the government-issued photo ID we received is not for the listed account holder. " so I send them a picture of the new account holder and after another 5-6 days I get an email asking for a government issued form relating to our business itself. I start thinking we're making progress, and I send them our 501 (c) 3, and another 5-6 days later I get another email saying "The copy of the government-issued photo ID we received is not for the listed account holder. " which puts us back where we started 18 days ago.

I have other responsibilities so I called on the original account holder to come in (from retirement) to see if he could get them to respond and even after him working for hours on it, calling GoDaddy, sending them a very lengthy response in the ChangeUpdate.com's "reason for updating" section, the results are the same: GoDaddy will not let us into our own account no matter what we do; no matter which email we send from, no matter how many times we send the IDs of our old and new account holders, no matter what we say in the "reason for updating" form. And they won't even give us a call about authenticating the account, they stick rigidly to their text messaging only system.

It's very frustrating, and very likely we will not be recommending GoDaddy to anyone looking for domain hosting in the future and may have to find another host ourselves that will give us access to the domains we've paid for.

I have ran a business for 40 years and if I ran it like GoDaddy we would have been out of business in a year. I have called twice to have a charge reversed. It is not a difficult thing to do with most companies but unfortunately they obviously have no competent people to do an easy transaction. I waited 45-60 minutes on each call while being placed on hold. They only checked on me twice during the hold time and told me they were still working on it. Finally they tell me for the second time it has been completed and the credit should appear on my card. I will give them 3 days and only hope I don’t have to call them again. I would find another company in the future to deal with. There customer service is not with the frustration.

The worst customer service i ever get, and the clueless UIX website ever to make things happend on customer demand. Sorry for you and the clients, but great for the competition.

Company sold me an unlimited bandwidth and unlimited file storage shared hosting plan back in 2012. I've paid them on time since without fail. Today they suspended my website and said it was due to storing too much data on the server. SO THEY LIED ABOUT UNLIMITED FILE STORAGE. So now I'm paid up till May of 2021 but can't access my website. How is this even legal? Then I must mention the quality of hosting I've experienced over the years. It wasn't that great. I've experience the MySQL server going down numerous times. Server time outs. Site outages for days at a time periodically. They changed my PHP.ini file many times which made the site inoperable. Best bet is to just setup a pc as a server on your own ISP and manage it yourself. Disk space costs pennies on the dollar today. I just purchased a sd card that holds 1 TB of data for under $50 so why the issue with my file storage. I'm truly exhausted dealing with this company?

Pésimo servicio, mediocre atención al cliente, y más que nefasta formación de su personal. Si necesitas ayuda no cuentes con ellos ¿No se puede poner cero estrellas?

Actually, the worst experience and service that i ever seen. Slow and bad server. Customer support? They don´t know what is this. Is not possible zero stars?
