Sandwich Shop Goodcents reviews
19Awesome, fresh subs and fast service! Sign up for the rewards and you can get a free sub on your birthday too.
Bought party platters for birthday party & they were ready on time, tasted great & gave you everything needed in the sides & condiments in 1st class style. No packaged condiments here they used mini bottles filled with mayo, mustard vinegar and oil. Awesome experience highly recommend.
I was very impressed with the subs, however, they are pricey for the small amount of meat put on.
Fresh sliced cheese and meat. Fresh baked soft bread, lots of toppings and sauce selection. Clean bathrooms and tables. Online ordering is quick and easy to use. Staff is helpful. Kids combo is cheap.
Great subs. No matter which goodcents you go to. Always yummy. Ordered from Uber. Paid fourty bucks. I ordered one sub, drink, chips and three cookies. Very much so overpriced. They forgot my drink and chips and Uber would not refund the restaurants error. I used to really love Goodcents. Not this time around.: (
The bread is the best out of all sub shops in my opinion. Why? Because it is thinner. It's very fresh and soft. Other sub shops make their bread an inch thick, both top and bottom then give you little ingredients to give the illusion you're getting a big sandwich. All bread, little ingredients. Not at goodcents! Fresh, healthy, and overall a much better product.
GoodCents is a tasty sub. The bread is always fresh and soft. The ingredients are high quality, and the staff is always friendly and polite.
I have been coming here for a few years and will continue to return.
They have horrible customer service staff is unfriendly and I'm never going back there ever again my family was a pretty regular customer every other week never again Mr bad cents!
Always incredibly fresh and well made. Seriously can’t beat Goodcents, best subs in town hands down
Soft, delicious, fresh bread. They follow the Goodcents way - just like the original. Great to have a taste of home here in Peoria. This location has been serving me well since 2014! Consistently great service.
I come here often. I love their subs - and the quality of them.
Today (Sunday - 4/3/22) - there was literally nobody else in the store and then the man who helped me was very very rude, never once asked me about my day or how I was doing - I normally like to watch them put stuff on my subs so that way I know they actually put it on there and ""Samuel "" - was very very rude, I'm shocked that he's able to work at this job especially with having zero customer service skills.
He had one word and answers he was not friendly at all, if you don't like your job go do something else but I literally went there for a sub and what I got was attitude and Rudeness. I had to ask another employee what his name was then he told me so that was nice but for the amount of money that I spend at this place I should never be treated like that.
Absolutely delicious sandwich! This was my first experience here & it won't be my last. I had the Classic. Meat was excellent, fresh. Lots of good veggies. And the bread. OMG. I had the garlic/pepper bread. Nice soft bread. Bread does not overwhelm the sandwich. Just a really delicious sandwich!
The sandwiches are pretty dang good. Better than Subway in my opinion. Has a local vibe to it. I think the best thing is that they are taking the chance to take on teens with no work experience and paying them well to learn how to enter the workforce. That can be challenging and the kids all do a great job. Definitely great sandwiches and a great community/local business
The manager said they closed at 5pm but as many customers arrived 10 til they already packed up on purpose. Horrible customer service. If you dont want to do your job then find another. Taking business elsewhere and so will others.
Been eating Goodcents for 20+ years and my last visit made me feel like I was not wanted. Everyone working looked and acted like they didn’t want to be there. Nobody said anything welcoming as I approached the counter. I’m not sure if management or the owners are making it a bad place to work. It’s a new year and new things should be in the works.
They didn't toast bread well enough got soggy wouldn't put extra olive on it and charged me for extra meat but didn't put it on.
They never disappoint. Always a great sandwich made exactly how I order it. I've never had any problems. Keep up the good work guys!
Usually always really quick with service! Sometimes puts wrong stuff on but other than that I would reccomend
Subs are excellent and taste fantastic. Customer service could use some work though at the 89th and Bell location. Seems they have a new night crew that started about 1+ month ago, and they're borderline disrespectful. They make you feel as if you're almost inconvenienceing them when you're the one ordering your sub and toppings. That's the one thing they could fix, otherwise everything is completely exceptional with their food.
