Goodwill Thrift Store and Donation Center, Oro Valley AZ

They really don't have anything here. I took my grand daughter to buy a couple children's books and the selection was terrible and the staff wasn't real friendly. The young man checking people out kept on asking people if they were going to use their senior discount and they were in their 20's. Then when I was checked out he forgot to apply the discount and I told him I was a senior which he didn't acknowledge.

We got a leather sofa and chair for my girl friend's daughter, for her new appartment, $29 dollars each.

Shopped here twice now. First time I found great items at great prices and had great service. I stopped in today and again- great items at great prices. Terrible service. Maybe just an off day? It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. Not pleasant to be around employees who openly complain about customers.

The cashier was efficient and polite, However, the employee accepting donations was very rude. There were several cars in a line waiting to donate and I got behind the last car in line. This employee yelled at me that it was a one lane drive through and "Didn't you see the arrow? " There was an arrow on the pavement but it was faded and the store should likely put a sign at the driver's eye level saying "stay to the right" or something. This man continued to yell at and insult me. I asked his name and he said "I have no name". A young female employee with long hair came out and took him away. He then said his name was Mark, which was the name of the manager. I called the manager to report this and he said he would review tapes that are made. I live right by this store but will NOT donate there again.

People here are absolutely wonderful. They are so nice and helpful. It was extremely enjoyable visit. Found some great deals too.

So many awesome treasures! For me it is treasure hunting. I never know what amazing deals I will find. Clothes, kitchen gadgets, items to upcycle in my garden, the fun never ends!

There's nothing in their glass cases in the front. Maybe it sells out instantly, not sure why. And the books are not sorted by subject. Also there are never any really old books.

I always find what I'm looking for, like today, 4 crystal wine glasses for less than $4

This store is not a "thrift" store. Things you can buy for a dollar at the dollar tree are 1.99 - 4.99 here. On the upside, they have tons of inventory. But probably the reason is that none wants to spend 14.99 on a used shirt you could get at Marshals for 9.99. The guy stocking was having a hard time putting things on the shelf because they were so over full. A broken filing thing. 6.99 A single pillow case $7. Wth? If they'd cut all the prices in half, they'd make a ton of money, and people would buy things.

Great crew, good selection, and just all around my favorite place to shop for stuff i don't need, but want cause its cool!

The Goodwill thrift store at this location has a variety of items to choose from. I was looking for a case for my tablet and I did find one. They have a lot of clothing, some electronics and an assortment of other things. Check it out. You probably won't come out empty handed.

Not a huge Goodwill fan (cause they're for profit and WAY OVERPRICED) but there are the far and few between that really stand out. This is one of those.

My friend & I decide to stop in. We thought with it being on a fairly good part of town they may have some nice picking. I was so wrong! I have never been to suck a small store & everything in it was junk! Don't even bother stopping by it's not worth your time.

LOTS of clothes, didn't look at quality of those much, but Quality and selection of Kitchen stuff, nice nacs, furniture, children's toys & books was Extremely Poor!

The store for the most part was neat and sales help was friendly. It was a good visit. The Salvatoon Army store makes me wonder. They haven't been open for many weeks but many people like myself. Where have all these donations going? They don't appear to be helping anyone in Tuvson. Are they being transpoted to Phoenix and sold. These donations were to provide jobs in Tucson.
