Grand Avenue Brewing Company reviews
16Could not recommend this place enough. The food, the beer, the staff, and the ambiance are all top notch. Definitely see myself becoming a regular here
Seems like a secret hideout, every time I come its quiet. I hope they’re doing well though because everything is amazing. I’ve only ever had the pretzels and they are always so good. The beer is top notch. It seems all the other menu items are made with passion, maybe one day I’ll try something else. My one complaint is the hours. They are closed Monday-Wednesday and they close pretty early.
4.9 stars and over 100 reviews? It lived up to expectations. My sour beer was crazy sour but really good. They gave me a raspberry syrup to cut the sourness and it gave the beer a whole new complexion. Very cool. Our tacos were delicious, potato and burritos were great. Only slight miss was the deconstructed jalapeno popper pizza which was a little heavy on the cream cheese.
The guys working there were super nice and helpful.
This place is amazing! Everything from the beer, to the food, the atmosphere, and the people! We originally planned on staying for a drink or two, but ended up staying until they closed! John also gave us great suggestions for other delicious hidden food spots in the area that we tried and also would rate 5 stars, so really this place should get way more than 5 stars! We will be telling people about this place!
I like the environment and the beer was fine. However, the buster burger was the worst burger I can remember having. They drench it in some chipotle sauce so the buns come out to you soggy. Truly horrifying. Complete with a side of low effort potato salad. Disappointing given the ratings.
Grand Avenue is a brewery from another time. Amazing food, amazing beer, and an atmosphere that invites a neighborhood pub in an exceedingly loud brewery culture. If you're looking for a place to sit down for some peace and enjoyment, try Grand Ave Brewing.
Sit at the bar for great conversation with your bar tender. They have some incredible beers.
It's like the best kept secret in Phoenix. Great food. Wonderful quality and range of beer. Most of all, though, it's got the best atmosphere and surroundings of any watering hole in Phoenix.
Amazing brewery best place to fill a growler Happy Jack IPA is the best brew in town! Good snacks while you are there try smoked sausage or the bacon wrapped jalapeños smoked baked potato with protein is my favorite! Grand has a great variety of craft beer! Something for everyone taste and palate
Enjoyed their beers today, great and delicious brews with a grand variety and unique flavors. Did not try the food this go around, a little too hot outside to want to stick around. AZ fault, not the brew.
Everything is the best. Superb beverages, stellar food and personal service. Our favorite brewpub for a meal and conversation.
The 4.9 rating is pretty spot on. The barleywine is unique and a heavy hitter. The beer selection covers so many bases. This id a great place to experiment and expand your pallet.
Good variety of beers on tap, good food, friendly staff. I have to highlight the smoked potato salad side dish! In the vast wasteland of fries with every sandwich, it's a super refreshing alternative.
Ever smoke a potato? Me either, but here they do it for you and boy are they delicious! And there are so many topping options to enhance the spud even more. I wanted to try their house smoked pork belly so I ordered the Papa Pig potato with all the fixin's and I've never had such a melt in your mouth pork belly!
My friend indulged in the Buster Burger: 1/3 lb burger on a brioche bun, cheese, balsamic caramelized onions and chili pepper aoli with a side of smoked potato salad with sour cream, bacon, and dill.
John was tending bar and he really knows his beers and helped me choose my flight-usually I'm disappointed by some, but every one, especially the darks, were delicious. I especially enjoyed their Black Jack Black Cream Ale has added black malt to Happy Jack and nitro, so it was like a Guinness but surprisingly had more of a richness of flavor.
Oh, I must not forget the building! It's from 1947 and has had many incarnations, but I'm glad it no longer sells sheet metal or used tires, but beer and smoked potatoes, and that there is also about 3,000 sq.ft.patio space to enjoy as well.
This place is awesome. Lgbtq friendly. Great beers on tap. Also have an amazing patio with a donut stuffed ice cream shop, and a tattoo shop. Did I die and go to heaven? Amazeballs! Go here.
