Grand Canyon National Park reviews
16An international landmark. Gets crowded as the day goes on. Quiet after dark when magic happens.
We stayed our first night in one of the Bright Angel Cabins right by the BA Trailhead and hiked Rim to Rim, staying in a cabin on the North Rim the second night. Both were nice. Took the 7 a.m. Shuttle back to BA the next morning.
This is the South Rim, it is Breathtaking, recommend taking this trip to anyone who visits Arizona.
Exceptional mother nature.what a spectacle.don't hesitate to use the shuttles. It's very useful!
This is my second time here. Amazing views, the feeling of power of nature is amazing. Looking forward to go back there at night for star viewing!
One of the most beautiful places in the world! I have had the privilege of hiking down to the river and back a couple times
Amazing experience! Not just a hole in the ground. We went over Thanksgiving a few years ago and want to go back. Beautiful views at every turn and a lot of hiking trails. The busses do not always run so be aware of the schedule. We were leaving Hermit's Rest when a snow storm was rolling in and came across 2 people walking back to Mather Campground. We gave them a ride. I don't remember anyone being behind us and it was getting dark. Glad we could help but it can be dangerous so pay attention to weather and schedules. There is a grocery store, laundry mat and multiple visitor centers throughout the park. Take your time, enjoy the views and look closely to see wildlife and maybe some mules on the trail down below.
OMG! What can I say. Absolutely beautiful scenery, jaw dropping, intriguing, mesmerising and educating of how it was formed. Looking down thousands of feet down in wonder and awe, gasping at the expanse of the distant views. We self drove and visited the South Rim and it was remarkable. You have to see it. It was worth the full day trip. 4-5 hours drive each way, from Las Vegas, you go past Hoover Dam, which is best to visit as a separate trip. Also best to stay at the Canyon, with various accommodation available. It takes approximately another 4 - 5 hours to drive around the whole Canyon, with the North, South, East and West Rims to visit. Plus tours down into the Grand Canyon marvelling at the serene scenery and vistas.
Absolutely mind boggling. It’s almost hard to comprehend how incredible this place is. I could spend all day on the north rim.
The absolute most amazing place I've ever seen. If you want to feel small this is where to go. Absolutely mind blowing.
One of the best place visit in the world, whether it is serious hikers, adventure campers or just visit for a quick walk. Plenty of well signed trails for abilities, there is a few shuttles to take people round, and to many specific awesome view points. Great work US National Park Service, can't ask for more.
I wore my sandals to the canyon. Was expecting a giant river I could canoe down. REALLY SMALL, WAY TOO DEEP.sand got in my toe nails. Paid 80 dollars for nothing. My cargo pants containing my hotel room card and wallet were ripped from my legs. I was not wearing underwear that day.
Excellent and exceptional natural attraction, difficult to describe, but beautiful to admire.
Entrance to the park in the morning took a while to get going. Definitely is worth at sunrise and sunset
Overwhelming. Huge in size. Huge variety of soil life. Big difference in weather. Beautiful hiking trails and viewpoints. Free shuttle service. Free and frequent water taps and toilets. Good paths for wheelchairs. Beautiful views and vistas.
Words can't really do it justice, cameras can't really capture the magnitude, nor depth. It's one of the wonders of the world for reason. It's breath taking, mind boggling, beautiful, and scary.
