Friendly staff at check in and check out. Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable! Our room was spacious. Location was great for us. The outdoor hot tub was cold, it would have been nice to have hot tub.hot after a long drive. All in all it was a very nice hotel.

Service great, but it's not what they advertise on website, the frame from toilet need to be change 179, hospitality very good, overprice in hight season, for sleep couple days it's recommended. This hotel is in Tusayan AZ.close to grand canyon.

Moths everywhere in the room, the air conditioning was not effective and a pretty pricy room for a disappointing experience. If the grand canyon weren't close by this would be a zero star.

Overpriced, outdated and small hotel. We were more than glad to leave the hotel. First thing I did when we came in room was wipe everything down with lysol wipes and was so glad I did. These rooms are not cleaned the way they should be clearly. Bed was super hard and undercomtable. Bathrooms smell like mildew. We went to restaurant at the hotel after at 16+hr drive because of convenience and food was edible to say the least. We should of ordered pizza from Pizza hut. Positive note we asked for ground floor and got it. We where able to back the truck in and load/unload through a sliding glass door. Big ice machine, great for large coolers. Over all I would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice and accommodating staff. Breakfast was really delicious and the gift shop had beautiful jewelry. Rented the 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen and it was huge! Outside and inside large seating and there were elk grazing across the street. Perfect location

Cleanliness of room was poor upon arrival. Left over chocolate candy was left on the floor and a beer bottle was left next to the bed. Having pets with me, it also worried me that there were loose staples on the edges of the carpet and found a screw by the bed side table. Not a good place to advertise as pet friendly and was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness and knowledge of the events after being reported.

Walked into my room. Blood on the wall, bugs dead on window sill, and lobby smells musty. Food is bad. My waffles had hair in it. Was very disappointed and wish I could be accommodated with some type of perk or discount on my overall price.

Pretty decent spot. My wife and I used this hotel as a base of operations for our Grand Canyon Trip. It's only a few minutes from the National Park & you could save a lot of money for a visit to the Grand Canyon by staying here instead of the hotels inside the park.

For one the customer service was pretty poor. Secondly and most importantly, my card has been charged three times for the stay. The first was when I booked, the money came out, but the charge disappeared in my bank account (yet the money was gone) ; therefore, I had no proof when I called them and explained that to them (like I said customer service was god-awful). The second charge I received was when I paid for the hotel while I was there, so everything went well right? Wrong, the money came out of my account and there was no a trace of it in my bank statement (yet the money was gone.). The third charge I have just now received (days after I have checked out) has now come out of my account. What was supposed to be a two night stay was charged as a four night stay and there is no trace or evidence. I keep excellent track of my money and this place is 100% a scam. I have tried calling and they were nothing short of childish and disrespectful offering zero solutions. I will never recommend or return to this Motel. They are a scam.

Great hotel, great staff, food was good. Problem is they need to spay better for moths. Our hotel room was filled with them, I killed 50 to 100 the first night. The moths were coming in from a seem in the window. I know they are all over Arizona at this time, but they keep it out of the restaurants, they need to try better to keep it out of the rooms.

When I checked into the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel, I was not expecting that it would share so much with the Grand Canyon - ancient eroded crumbling.rooms. Unfortunately, these attributes are not so great in a hotel. I rarely give 1-star reviews, but I find that these days, as someone who is a 9-to-5er, it is so important that my vacation time is spent pleasantly. It is a testament to the majesty of the Grand Canyon that my stay at the Plaza Hotel will be an unpleasant footnote, but man, I sure would have been better prepared for hiking, sight-seeing, photography, and wildlife watching had I been able to sleep on something that resembled a bed, in room that was at least clean.

I am not exaggerating when I say that my room was basically disgusting. Stains covered the sheets of the beds, the beds themselves were lumpy knotted springs, the decor confusing, with gigantic lamps taking up entire four foot tables, with chairs strewn about with no real way to sit down. The bathroom seemed to have kitchen counter-top quality granite glued to the walls to create the appearance of luxury, but it only offset the surrounding grossness. The toilet seat was eroded past the white surface, creating an unpleasant permanent brown smear look. The bathroom smelled like a public rest-stop. The toilet had trouble flushing - at one point it clogged, and thankfully, a plunger was sent immediately to my room. However, when it arrived, it was in a strange plastic bag, and when removed, there was dried toilet paper plastered around the well worn black rubber. It was nauseating, but to its credit, performed admirably.

Walls seemed to have holes punched in them, that were hastily patched. The carpet was like a dingy 1970s office. The grout was dark grey with embedded filth. The air conditioner worked (thank god) but it was clearly a relic of the past, rattling on for dear life - if off for mere moments, the poor insulation of the room resulted in an immediate return to oven-like standard temperature. The ice bucket had some kind of dried slime on top that was somehow both viscous and sticky.

Anyway, this room was gross. I slept very poorly. I expected much, much more from a 3-star hotel that charges over $500 for two nights - honestly, camping in my car would have been preferable (and probably more fun). All I can say for my experience, is that it was very convenient to get to Grand Canyon National Park, there were nice pictures of the Grand Canyon on the wall, and that the hotel is walking distance to a few OK-ish eating options.

If you're looking for a 3-star hotel experience, just get an AirBnB, or try your luck with another hotel, because this one ain't it.

The rooms are very clean and stocked with enough towels and wash clothes. We stayed for a couple nights with our dogs and it was great. Everything you need is within walking distance.

For $250 I was expecting a lot more then Motel 6 accommodations. Fortunately the room was clean but extremely small and outdated. The hallways were very dark with poor lighting so it made it feel a little depressing when walking in. The bed seemed very old. Was not the best. The AC barely worked. We were hot all night. We couldn’t open the balcony sliding door because of the moth infestation. The moths outside we’re not their fault. For that price I would find something else or pay slightly more for better

AWFUL.do not stay here.walked into my hotel room with 3 massive bugs on the window and wall then proceeded to turn around to see blood (or a red liquid on the wall.) I went to the lobby to complain and spells very musty. Pay the extra money and stay at a better hotel or a brand name hotel.sorry but do not stay here.

After checking out, we went to the grand canyon. I realized I forgot my wedding and engagement rings plus a pair of earrings. I called the hotel and told the guy, his name is Roman, about the situation. When we came back, my jewelry was waiting for me at the front desk! I am so grateful to the honest staff in this hotel. We're sure to check in again on our next trip!
Thank you so much for acting so fast and efficiently.
