Grand Luxe Hotel & Resort, Tucson AZ

This was the worst hotel experience I've had in my life. It was the pits. From not having towels and wash clothes to NO cable, to everything wrong in the room. Some guy trying to pee on my door all night who was a resident there to breaking into my car.

$50/night for this place is a JOKE. Asked for a first floor room, was told there wasn’t any even though going to our room there was plenty of first floor rooms unoccupied. No toliet paper in the room also no tp holder. Moved the ice bucket found dead bugs. Curtains are torn and gross. Lamp shades are worn and stained. Bed was super uncomfy. Also was looking forward to going swimming only to be told it’s closed. Why weren’t we told this while we were making the reservation. Would not recommend to anyone would not stay here again.

The guy there was a complete sweetheart but when I went back up to let them know the room had bed bugs in the most calm and quietest way, the woman there refused to change my room and gave me attitude when I requested a refund and to leave, there was no way I was staying in a bug infested room with my daughter. I would have been ok with another room. We might not have hundreds of dollars to pay for a hotel, but we still deserve respect, and a clean room. The chick helped another guest while making contact with the manager to confirm that she can refund me. They were cracking rude comments about my situation "the luxury people expect these days" " oh no, my room is just fine, I don't Karen life". I should have told her that my room has bed bugs but instead I didn't react to it. My daughter and I are down here for a family emergency, I'm trying to make it as comfortable as I can for her but Due to lack of funds because it takes up to 5 business days for our refund and our other hotel that we have for the next two nights has no rooms tonight, we're sleeping in our suv for the night, Thankfully my daughter is a positive young lady and she even stated that she'd rather sleep here than in that room. No coffee maker, remote, desk, chair. Basically empty with missing floor in spots and everything is just nasty dirty. Alot of tweaker activity in the parking lot as well

At first it was OK. The pipes burst waded in water then they tried to fix it (poor maintance.)
They moved me to the next room.it was OK, then toliet stopped up they finally moved us back in the room we started inthry had no water in sink. He was fixing it they burst the pipe again.the floor was in 1 in of water.got it up.then mirror fall on me called them they hhot it up.the girl. Up front the 2 ladies was very poor manners.it was all good as long as they got your money. Myself I wouldn't stay there. The head housekeeper couldn't get a nicer person. Overall POOR
Drug invested there at that place. If that was the last place I wouldn't stay there.

I'm usually not too picky about 1-night motel stays, but man was this place awful. The door to my room had obviously been kicked in at some point (it didn't close all the way and had a small gap to outside). The towel rack was broken in the bathroom, which I did;t mind too much. What I did mind is they provide a tiny towel that's more like a hand towel than a shower towel.

The room was noisy, both because of the broken door and because of the close proximity to the freeway.

The sheets were stained, although they did look washed.

The only reason this place gets 2 stars and not 1 is because they did have an overnight security guard driving around the (otherwise very sketchy) parking lot.

Aging facility in terms of the room. Service was great though. Wish I could have experienced the pool and breakfast, I'm sure the would have been good. The pool was kept in good clean condition.

Pretty good motel for the money. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice pool area. Close to several restaurants, shopping, & U of A. They require $100 deposit at check-in against potential damages or smoking in rooms (not allowed), so be prepared for that. Biggest downside for us was close proximity to freeway, which can be noisy. Request a room on the west side of the property, away from freeway, and you'll be fine.

Easy check-in, decently appointed rooms. But our room was not touched by housecleaning after the first night.

This place is well worth the money inside decent nice beds.gym.breakfast very good place to be.swimming pool.n sauna

Leaving here at 1 am in the morning. BED BUGS! You get what you pay for people. Don’t come here. Dirty rooms also.

Great Hotel, the hundred dollar deposit seems a little rough especially if you don't have it. Rooms are nice great restaurant downstairs

Nice but staff is rude and thet do not work wuth you on anything. So a 3 Starr hotel rates 2 star only. Directly due to front desk staff.

Very bad experience my sheets were precum stained there were Tweakers outside my door working on a car all night slamming doors I even got propositioned by two men asking me how much thinking I was a prostitute I will never return to this Motel again

The rooms were just okay, and we had to ask the front desk for them to get full service torn down service. I assumed at a hotel this was implied until they didn't clean my room after my first nightht here. Also they don't allow you to bring food to your hotel room which is a ridiculous policy. The pool and the got tub are very nice.

It was very pleasant and clean, economical, and a added plus the angry crab next door has delicious food!

It may not be new but everything works the Staff was nice the pool and hot tub was perfect and I got a excellent price on the room

Pool and hot tubare the best, breakfast wasnt impressive, danish n cereal n coffee n juice. The room did not have any info or menus for the ajoined restaurant next door. Kinda inconvenient for ordering ahead for take out orders. Rooms were clean n comfortable. Deposit delay was another hassle. No immediate return

Little get away for a decent price. Rooms a little dated but beds are comfortable and the shower works. Kids loved the pool. Tables and chairs could be cleaned up a little by the pool. All in all, money well spent. We'll continue to stay here when in town. Front desk staff was nice. They called to tell us check out was at 11. However the confirmation email stated 12pm check out. They honored that with no problems. Thank you!

They added $100 deposit when I showed up and didn't tell me when I made the reservation we showed up waiting to get a room and didn't have the money so we had to get a deposit

Hotel staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. The manager actually tried to enter our hotel room at 10 PM using a master key card even though we were in bed. They refused to let us speak with a manger for our security concerns and insisted we gave our key to someone else. Did not find out it was the manager until the next day when I requested my refund for my additional day and was packing to leave.
