Below par service. This was a buyers choice not ours or our agent's. My agent had to call them, to call us to get a closing date set. Then the settlement doc was not properly completed based on the terms of the contract agreement, so my agent had to point that out to them prior to closing to have it corrected. We get to closing and no one was wearing masks even though they have signs posted everywhere that's its required. The notary finally comes into the signing room 30 minutes late with no mask on looking like she was ready for the club not a professional encounter and tried to rush us through the signing. I got frustrated because she wasn't explaining anything and just pushed us to sign sign sign without giving time to read through the docs and or understand what we are signing. They didn't take into account reconciling the most recent posted property tax payment and didn't pro rate it at settlement. So we were again delayed because they didn't do their job. A 15-20 minute transaction took over an hour; which, is unacceptable! Then the notary tells us she will have all signatures by close of business on a Monday, Tuesday morning it would get recorded and we would have either a check or wire by Wednesday afternoon. NONE of that happened. My agent got notification from the buyers agent confirming all docs were signed by monday afternoon, funds were received and everything was ready to be recorded first thing Tuesday morning which didn't happen. They drug their feet until Tuesday afternoon to record the docs with county. However, even though they had plenty of time to initiate a wire to our account Tuesday so we could receive it Wednesday, they chose to wait another 24 hours; which is against the real estate laws (I should've been funded within 24 hours of the docs being recorded) and allowed them to capitalize on extra days of interest on other people's money. I checked with my bank and no wire was received nor pending. My agent kept calling and they wouldn't take her call. Then my agent emailed and no response. So I called and raised cane, called them out and got the branch Mgr on the phone. She canceled the wire and cut a check for me to pick up but only after I called to get attending that dropping the ball is unacceptable and this money should've been in my account by close of business Wednesday. I had another real estate transaction waiting on funding so I could close. They put me in a huge bind. I let her know in person that whether it was her mistake or her staff, she needs to clean up her office protocols because my transaction with her title agency was not only unprofessional, they are engaging in unethical business practices whether they realize it or not and our entire dealings with them have not been timely and there are deadlines they know they have to comply with. Plus, they already have a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.so mine will make two. I would not recommend this company to handle your real estate transactions.

I listed a home and the buyer choose Great American for the title company. I have never worked with this title company but I was very happy with Heathyranne Aguilar. Heathyranne worked hard to get our contract closed and made this happen on time. Thanks Heathyranne for all your hard work

This company scammed over $3500 in closing costs on a $40,000 property purchased using cash. They threw every fee they possibly could taking advantage of a new investor. I hated this service soooooooooo badly that I had to create an account to share my experience. For starters.they do LOOK promising. The company at first glance LOOKS friendly, clean and professional. That's until you begin officially working with them. This was my first and last time using them. For someone who is not familiar with many processes or protocol, it is near impossible to reach ANYONE but the front desk reception for questions about the process who most times only answer is i'll have the officer call you (which never happens). I couldn't tell you how many times I called to reach the escrow officer or assistant and was promised to receive a callback that never came in MULTIPLE TIMESSS. No acknowledgment or apologies. As an Investor, we feared we'd lose our deal because of the extremely poor line of communication. We asked to make appointments to speak with the escrow officer or assistant and were told we can only communicate to them by email. We tried communicating by email, but many times, met no response and multiple attempts to reach them to answer the very important questions regarding their process/protocol. On top of this nightmare, we were forced by "company policy" to pay title insurance $900 on an all-cash transaction. One of the women we spoke with had a trembly voice when I tried asking about the policy. I've heard it said that the escrow officers are sharks and WILL take advantage if given a chance. I definitely had a lot of sleepless nights wondering if our transaction wouldn't pull through because of them. Ughhhhh thinking of this entire transaction sickens me to my stomach soooooo bad. All I can say is don't let their professional establishment fool you. This is no place for an investor. This company scammed over $3500 in closing costs on a $40,000 property purchased cash. The fee's should have been around $800 total. So much stress this company put on us.so many broken promised.
