Green Valley Ace Hardware

This is the best hardware store in Green Valley. Very knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful. Fantastic paint color matching.

Go to this family home store if you want someone who will actually ask if you need help unlike other Ace hardwares in the area. Employees here enjoy their jobs, they don't make you feel like you are bothering them while stocking shelves. Mike and his wife always make you feel welcome and will solve your problems with finding what will work for your hardware needs.

The staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Mike is very experienced and friendly. I highly recommend coming here.

I will never shop here again, Very flippant staff. I am almost positive it is management, the True Value and Ace Harware on Duval are way better options for your purchase!

I am on older guy and always went to ace hardware with my grandfather and all over the u s nothing against the big box stores but I still prefer the mom and pop type stores where they still value there customers

First time here for some painting supplies, Benjamin Moore quality products! And, saw a whole lot more that I might need in the future. We'll be back

The staff at ACE is very helpful and they have had every item I have needed, so I didn't have to drive to other stores. Plus, they have a great card selection!

The store owner Mike is rude and down right lacking in his social skills for customer service. I refuse to shop here now. Read all the negative reviews, they are true. Keep in mind if you buy a tool, it can NOT be returned regardless if it's new and unopened. Horrible store.

My favorite was when Mike hovering over me as I was looking at tools. I asked why he kept shadowing me. His response was he felt I might steal something. There were other customers in the store but he chose to single out the Mexican guy. Is he a racist? I can’t say but it felt that way.

The just opened up a new ACE off Duval Mine road next to Walmart. That store is a pleasant experience. Don't listen to other reviewers positive experiences are merely buddies of the owner trying boost his reviews and he has paid for a review boost service. Just a few years ago his store was hovering between one or two stars.

Look at his responses to unsatisfied customers. He is acting like a defense attorney to show they are wrong, rather than trying to make it right. Proof is his own words.

This store did not have item in stock. I asked them to call the other in town. They claimed they didnt have the phone number. Poor service.

Didn't realize it was independently owned when I went in couldnt use my Ace points card.and when I went to ck out cashier wasn't very friendly very abrupt!

I love to shop at Ace. Helpful and good overall customer service. However, today I returned a few items purchased over 90 days ago. Their policy is anything over 90, no return. Seems petty as we shop there spending many $'s. With pandemic and my recovery from COVID, I was unable to even shop until just recently.

I always browse the aisles when I go to this independent Ace Hardware store. I always find something I want. Sometimes I was in the store previously and asked for a specific item or brand. The next time I go in, they have it but you have to go look. If you go in for a plumbing part, but asked for a specific electrical part last time, you gotta go look.

****Mistakes happen. Talked with Marie over the phone. She reimbursed me the full amount, and apologized for the error. Very professional. I am grateful she made it right. I will be returning.

I visited to return plumbing parts: the time before the clerk had over-charged me $10 “misc irrigation” for a three pack of irrigation nuts ($2.29) After denying the return, the clerk accidentally over-charged me $2.29 on my reimbursement transaction. Twice I was over charged. No admission of error, no desire to “make it right. ” Disappointing.

Great store! Mike is knowledgable in many areas. Customer service is bright and cheerful, other stores aspire to be store. They always seem to have exactly what I need.

Mike & Michele are great and very helpful. I often have a home improvement or repair of some sort going on. Love that the store is close, they always have what I need and have great customer service.

I work for a company and I went to make a Phone sale and the lady who attended me was clearly in a horrible mood.she was frustrated with me because the item i got had no price tag so I went to grab another, once the total was given she was mad because I was doing a phone sale for $10. Im in uniform and on the clock im not paying out of my own pocket, and then I was giving her the number to call for the phone sale she said: no you are going call! In a terrible manner. Honestly one of the worst experiences there. Can't believe they have people with poor customer service running the cash registers.

Green Valley Ace Hardware is the hardware store that has most everything you need. You can buy 1 bolt or nut at a time or as many as you need to complete even the most extensive project. The staff will answer all your questions regarding your project and help you decide what's right for you. As the owner of an older home, I go there quite often. I have always been given the correct advice. They re-do screens, have propane, and the paint department is always busy. No "fru-fru' here. Just a hardware store that's second to none other.
