Grimaldi's Pizzeria, Scottsdale AZ

Service was sooooo slow. Ordered the lunch special-pizza slice and salad. Pizza came out first and was lukewarm. Salad had so little dressing we had to ask for more. Would not go back.

Had the giant slice lunch.big slice, nice salad and iced tea or soda. Good deal for lunch and server was very good.

Went with a group of friends and ordered the Bruschetta with two 18" pizzas. Everything was delicious and left very satisfied. Would recommend for pizza lovers.

Came here to get a taste of traditional pizza and was not disappointed. Got a traditional 18 inch pizza with pepperoni and peppers and it was delicious. The whole place gave a great traditional vibe and I would definitely come here again.

Took 20 minutes for our waiter to come to our table and there was only 2 tables with people. The pizza was undercooked and doughty. You could taste the raw pizza dough. Hardly any toppings on it, wich is a shame because we paid almost $70 for 1 large pizza and a small salad! Looked like they had hispanic guys making the pizzas that didn't know English and were laughing and playing around. Will not be returning to this ridiculous location. Also I came here 2 months ago and same story, only pizza was cold that time.

We came in with a large group which they accommodated easily.

Everyone enjoyed their 12in personal pizzas. Best pizza in the area. Will go again!

We wanted to eat their pizza after movie, drove down there but then they rejected to take our order. They close at 9 pm but didn’t take our order at 8: 50 pm. They said they stop taking order at 8: 30. Shouldn’t the closing time be updated to 8: 30 pm instead of 9 pm, very disappointing!

Great food! I highly recommend the white garlic pizza cooked extra crispy with a cesar salad! Top it off with the Oreo cheesecake

Well known pizza place, and that is all they make for entries. The various white pizzas were universally enjoyed.

We stumbled into Grimaldi's after we couldn't find parking close to where we had originally planned to dine. It turned out to be a pretty ok choice in terms of food and atmosphere, but they were definitely understaffed. The bartender (yes, one!) seemed to be not only tending to guests seated at the bar and high tables. She was also making drinks for the floor AND handling takeout! While she was doing her best, she struggled to keep up, which negatively affected our service time.

We had planned to order salads separately, but the bartender suggested we get one and share, so we did. She was right. It was a large enough Ceasar salad that we were able to split it, and we still had some left in the bowl. It was so good! For dinner, my friend had a personal pizza with olives and Italian sausage. I chose pepperoni pizza with onions. The pizza was delicious, BUT they were stingy with the toppings. I had to strategically try to break and spread the pepperoni around in order to make it enough.

The atmosphere was gorgeous! I was really taken aback by the wine bottle light fixtures.

Overall, it was a good experience but manager's have to do a better job of forecasting for staffing.

The takeout service is beyond slow. I was waiting for over 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready. Really inconsiderate of people’s time.

Nice place, atmosphere is welcoming, service was great.
But I was disappointed in the pizza. Too thin, not enough sauce or cheese. I should have said something but I did not. So make sure you read about the pizza and I do believe they may have a few different ones to choose from.

Grimaldi's is great, but this was my first time at this location and I only stopped in for carryout. I waited over an hour for one pizza that was ready in 20 minutes. The hostess was busy texting on her phone and never texted or called me (after taking my number for the order), or even let me know the pizza was while I was sitting waiting at the entrance. I'll be sticking to the Grimaldi's in Gilbert as they are more reliable.
