Dr. Higa was my surgeon for my gastric sleeve. He was nice and professional. His staff was amazing and always willing to help me with anything.

If it hadn't been for Dr. Higa I wouldn't be here today because I had stopped eating and drinking and had over 400 ccs of acid in my stomach. He did a gastric bypass surgery on me and in a year I went from 335 pounds to 201 pounds.

On 9/14/2023 Dr. Guillermo Higa Sansone performed a gastric sleeve surgery. The surgery took more than the hour and half that it was programmed. Doctor Higa found other stomach issues that I had been dragging along for ten years due to other passed surgeries. It took him four hours to fix the mess in my stomach. I need to say that by 7: 00 pm. I was walking the hallways of the hospital where my surgery was performed pain free and very awake. My most heart felt gratitude to doctor Guillermo Higa and his wonderful staff. May God continue to use him to care and provide his wonderful knowledge to help others live a healthier life. The day I met Dr. Higa I legit was afraid because I been told by so many doctors that weight loss surgery couldn't be done because of my mental health but Dr Higa looked beyond that and saw how much I was trying to lose the weight and understood what I been through over the years and gave me a sight of relief and agreed to do my gastric sleeve. I came to Dr Higa 2 yrs ago for a consult I was nervous of course, but when he came into the exam room shook my hand as he was introducing himself my nerves left. He is a dr that will sit down and look at you while he is talking not at the file or a computer. Personal, caring, supportive, I highly recommend Dr. Higa and his staff. During my stay at the hospital when asked who is your Physician and I’d reply Dr. Higa they would always comment “he is the best”, or “you chose a good Dr he is a great surgeon. ” Always met with a smile from his office staff, and always feel I have Dr. Higa’s full attention.
