Guitar Center reviews
16Just left the guitar center here in tucson. What a wreck. The store itself is filthy. Havent cleaned or vacuumed the floors in looks like years.products here and ther with shelves empty and unattended. Looks like there is no management to keep the place in order. What used to be a one place stop is now just a beat up unkept building with sparce product to choice from.what a waist of time to come here. Manager should be fired or trained to put this place back in order.
Omg, I HATE this store! Lol I'm being sarcastic because when my husband wants to go here I know how he feels when I want to go to Walmart. He hates Walmart like I hate this place. Hey, it's not for ME. But my husband can stay in there for hours playing instruments. I love to watch him play. Um, did I just say that.
I called to ask what brands they carried for ukuleles, the gentleman rattled off many brands so i figured they had a lot of ukes, sadly that was not the case. I drove 45 minutes to this store to find a small amount of ukes, very dissapointing. He could have said we only have 6 in stock and most are soprano and that would havd saved me a trip.
I appreciate the response from Guitar Center and hope they do in fact straighten this out. I had no problems with Guitar Center in the seattle area.
Big selection - try getting someone to help you... A lot of new and used gear.for some reason, everytime I visit this store, no one is interested in selling me anything.or even answering questions. "how much is the korg minilogue? " "huh, where's that? " I showed him where it was and after looking it over, he said "I have no idea. " and that was it.he turned to the other guy, and stated " I need a beer. " so instead of dropping a few hundred dollars on a synth, I said 'thanks' and left.every time...
I bought bass guitar strings here, and they were super helpful in being able to give a recommendation for good strings at a good price. When I had some issues with just one string in the set and wasn't sure if it was a product error or user error they really helped me out! Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff.
Starting to look run down. Acoustic guitar room floors are dirty and it just looks like nobody cleans the place. Other than that they have a good selection and the staff is nice.
Great place to go if you wanna start making music Or if you are a seasoned pro.
GuitR center has it all.
Waited so long we had to leave. I am a very patient person so yes, it took a very long time and we didn’t even get acknowledged. A simple “we will be with you in a moment. ” Would have been nice.
This location is great they have separate like room sections for what your wanting to by so it's lit. Although there was some unessecary language from the employes that were very helpful in helping me find things for my keyboard rig and my studio.
I had to laugh walking in as it was the typical guitar center cliche of a dude wailing away on his guitar Eddie Van Halen style arpeggios in the middle of the store. I felt like I was in the movie Wayne's world. But the pro audio section is cool. They had what I needed and I got out of there pretty quick.
If you're looking for a guitar, or drums, this would be a good place to start. I went for guitar strings, which they had. But my grandson was looking for violin strings and a bow. They had them, but they were not very knowledgeable about violins and such. IDK, seems like they should be more knowledgeable about what they sell? ! All in all, we got what we went for, so it was all good. Employees weren't very helpful, and you had to chase them down to get any help at all from them.
Great staff, always willing to help and give you recommendations based on what you ask or tell.
Good selection of merchandise. My kids loved the demo pieces they have out. Wasn't as expensive as i figured it would be for the couple of things I purchased.
Great service, I had a repair done from the tech department. The service was attentive and repair was complete in a hasty manner
Everything was clean and the staff were friendly. The products we purchased were of good quality.
The reason I didn't give 5 stars:
The employees who helped us, while polite and friendly, failed to point out a better more cost effective item after we asked if the solution we had discussed was the best option and cost. We found the better cost option in the store and purchased it instead of the multiple products we would have purchased to solve the same problem.
When I pointed out the item that would solve our problem for the same cost, it just felt as if they didn't know their inventory or didn't want us to know about that option for some reason.
I was in the Broadway store today 7/31/22 at about noon. I was and still am looking to spend about $2000 dollars on a new PRS S2 Guitar and a Boss Amp. Like i said, 2K or more.
I wondered around the nearly empty store (An employee back by the Keyboards was actually assisting a customer) for over half an hour. Never got a "Hello" or a "How ya doin today? " nor did anyone acknowledge that I was even in the store. What a Joke! I was really excited for today. What a letdown. I wouldn't go back in that store if they paid me. Best to keep your money local, and they just proved it.
