Gyro Shack reviews
14Their version of the Gyro sandwich was good. I ordered the deluxe. The tzaziki was mayonnaise based, I think, and didn't have any dill. This is a good sandwich, though not authentic.
I had the falafel gyro and the greek fries. It was delicious. I didn't have high expectations and I was blown away. This will definitely be a regular stop for me.
The girls running the place are very nice, but seem to be short on help. Make sure your order is correct
The service from both the managers on shift. That were called after the order was placed and got home to find this was the size of the fries once getting home to eat the take out. We called up there to inform of the problem they instructed to bring it back up an at least 30 min drive to come back. All for them to say it took too long to come back to replace and that there was nothing they can do about it. They eventually replaced the fries with a box fry but the service to receive and to be called liars at the window after calling to inform of the error on their part. For this to be a new gyro spot the employees were the worst and inexperienced with customer service.
I’m very disappointed and would not recommend trying them out it’s outrageous and their excuse was the fries shrink!
McDonald’s does better at filling the box better than this.
Great little spot with a drive-thru. The gyros were really good and they had a ton of options for flavors and toppings and the food and flavor was actually really good. Definitely recommend.
I had high hopes. We ordered 4 meals. Tzatziki lacked all the ingredients that make is great, like cucumber and garlic. Tasted like ranch sauce. The frys were all cold, and the service was kinda rude. The lady serving at the window was just not a pleasant person, and the nails she wore.seems like they could fall off into the food! (I'm probably just being paranoid) I cannot justify spending $60 on this kind of experience again. Happy to give it another try sometime in the future. Please get better!
Really liked this place. Whwenever I go to the U. S. I like to try foodsntaht are not available to me in Mexico.
The Gyro Shack is a mandatory stop for anyone who wants to try something different. This place wasn't there the last time I visited Tucson, and I hope to visit it again soon.
So friendly! Great food too. Highly recommend! Don't let the quick stop fool you this is the real deal Greek American food!
I've been there twice and had very good experiences both times. I'll be going back again and again! The Original is 50% off on weekends, so that is what I'll be getting. I put only one star for atmosphere since it doesn't have any - it's drive-through only!
Very disappointing meal. These gyros are disgusting. They were cold and very poorly put together. Also, the meat is cheap, thin, and is not shaved off of a spit and taste like it’s microwaved. The customer service is horrible. I ordered 2 combos and was only given 2 sandwiches. Then they came back with one order of fry and had to come back a third time for the last fry. The drive through ladies were rude about THEIR mistake. The baklava was super small. I will never go here again. Definitely not worth the money spent. You might as well grab a gyro kit at the grocery store. If you want a great gyro sandwich, try OPA’s Best Greek on Broadway. Must bigger sandwich, food is always fresh, and the customer service is great.
If you go through the drive-through, I hope you understand. The guys are telling you that the drive-through is constructed incorrectly. Not the traffic lightsI Did severe damage to my vehicle going through the drive-through.
Food is awesome only on the weekend. Most of the employees during the week do not care about their job. My salad will be missing items. The food will be old. They need new staff that appreciate their job on the weekdays. The girls don’t care!
Gyros are okay…it’s like the pita bread you buy at Walmart …. To be honest I think it’s a little overpriced for what they’re giving ….
Great service! The gyros were good, but didn't remind me of SLC or anything. That being said, it was still good, and I'd say it's at least worth trying! I didn't get my tzatziki for my Greek fries, so just double check that when ordering!
