Excellent food. Atmosphere is amazing The view in patio is exceptional! Margaritas are the best! Not to mention the food was delicious. Definitely had a great time. Will be going again soon! Definitely recommend this place to anyone. One thing I do want to comment is that one of the servers was not as pleasant. Don't remember his name but he did not look happy to be there. I kinda felt bad for him cause I was having a great time. But other thank that little bump on road, I'm in love with this place! Anyone in Tucson area is a must go!

Recently my family celebrated my birthday at this lovely facility. The staff, with Jay and Wren, took excellent care of us. My scallops appetizer was perfectly cooked, the beet salad outstanding. Even my son's rare steak was done correctly. Thank all the kitchen staff for making it an outstanding evening.

Heaven on earth! I've never stayed anywhere better than this place. Food, out of this world, room was fantastic! I would go back every year!

We only came here to dine, and quite honestly didn't have the greatest experience. It was disappointing. I called in advance to secure a reservation for two. She said they were fully booked and then I asked her what time dinner started. She said it started at 4PM so I asked her if that time slot was fully booked. She said it was available. I thought that was odd. I decided to book it, and was excited to have dinner here - it wasn't my first time dining at Hacienda Del Sol but it was my mothers. They seated us on the covered terrace with absolutely no acknowledgment that it wasn't going to be inside the dining room. We noticed a wedding party pretty much taking presidence over everything, including us and any other guest who was also seated on the terrace to dine. Maybe in the future just do one or the other? It was very obvious the staff couldn't keep up and the food was mediocre at best, which isn't typically the norm for this place. While I understand that most businesses in the hospitality industry are trying to recover from the financial hit they took in the pandemic; it needs to be a bit more thought out and transparent with guests regarding any changes they might notice or be a part of when they choose to patronize the establishment. There is most definitely room for improvement.

The people here are amazing, from Tillman at the Valet to Kay in the restaurant, everyone was incredibly friendly. The property is beautiful.three pools and each with amazing views.

One of my favorite places in Tucson. To eat, stay and relax. Their food and drinks are incredible. The property is unique and very well taken care of. A great place for locals and tourists alike.

Traveling through 6 states in 3 weeks hitting up all the over priced hotels throughout our trip this stay was the best. I wanted to extend out stay by 1 day buy 3 weeks away from work prevented me from doing so doesn't mean we can't go back. Don't be a regular Joe and stay at those block hotels you'll love it here and certainly won't regret it

I told my deadbeat husband I wanted a divorce here. Also I forgot our son in the pool and he almost drowned but overall it was such a great experience. The sweet & sour calamari is amazing

Husband and I stayed for our anniversary vacation, had a stress free, relaxing time. We will be returning very soon, not just for anniversary. Beautiful hotel, scenic views of Mt Lemmon, quiet and secluded in the Catalina Foothills.

For the price of $600 and change for 18 hours, it was "meh. " Front desk, concierge and spa staff all get 5 stars, food 2, and restuarant staff 1.

This resort is absolutely gorgeous! There are three pools, and it also has city views on one side (the southern side) and mountain views on all other sides. Great staff, wildlife is active near and on (mostly near) the property (which is a plus for me personally) so you might see roadrunners, hawks, snakes and javelinas. The rooms are great with either mountain or city views, a big back area or balcony and a great bathroom with a huge shower. What a wonderful place to relax in and enjoy Tucson!

Nice room. Service fee is a rip off. Covers waters, valet and housekeeping - none of which we used as we stayed one night. We thought if we didn’t use the services, we wouldn’t be charged. Definitely woulda drank 50 bottles of water had we known. 100% wouldn’t stay again. Also, the check-in and check-out staff are ruuuude.

I love Hacienda de sol! It has the old world charm of the Southwest that makes a visit feel like you are really visiting someplace different. Give them a try for dinner out and a staycation for you locals.

I was so excited for our weekend staycation at Hacienda. While I'd visited several times for weddings, networking events and meals, this was my first time as a hotel guest.

Checked in - I'm quite sure I reserved and paid for a king room, but we were put into one with two queens in the "historic" section. Honestly, it was like calling a 1989 Honda Civic vintage. We could hear everything our neighbors said and did, and the furniture looked more than a little shabby. The lamp and charging station on the desk were nonfunctional, and I did try plugging them into two of the other power strips lying around the room (lots of power strips and electrical cords around, none tidily secured).

Lighting was dismal- good thing nothing in our weekend required applying makeup, as there was nowhere with proper light to do so. Also nowhere for two people to sit together other than a bed- the room was spacious but had a desk with one chair and a single armchair.

The bathroom was also poorly thought out. It had a large SE facing frosted window with no covering, and so from the moment the sun rose, blinding light filled the room if anyone opened the bathroom door.

We also never received housekeeping service, even though the only time we had the "do not disturb" sign out was while we showered and changed after a fairly early breakfast. Yet, we still had to pay the daily $29 resort charge for the valet, bottled water, and housekeeping "tips" none of which we ever used/received.

Meals weren't great either, and we ended up cutting the trip a bit short rather than studying for the $50/head brunch buffet, figuring it would be more of the same. Overall it was very disappointing and I can't imagine returning.

This is a beautiful resort. The customer service is unbelievable! The absolute best. Historic room was very pretty and the bed was comfy. Try the restaurant, also!

This resort features numerous Hacienda style buildings thoughtfully situated within a beautiful botanical type garden setting located on a ridge in the Catalina Mountain foothills. All buildings are 1 or 2 stories with stairs, and most rooms open to the outdoors. Our spacious and beautifully decorated Catalina style room in the new Rincon section opened onto a roomy balcony facing beautiful sunrises and the Rincon Mountains in the distance.

We enjoyed seven nights in this picturesque and impeccably maintained desert scape which is staffed by many genuinely passionate and service oriented professionals. Delicious omelettes and yummy pancakes were our favorite of three take out meals from Terraza restaurant. La Encantada is a nearby outdoor, upscale shopping and diverse dining area which also includes AJ’s Fine Foods for groceries, irresistible bakery items and delicious deli sandwiches. In addition, nearby Fiamme Pizza creates capricciosa pizzas (one time was not enough) even better than at Via Napoli Ristorante in EPCOT.

Back home, we selected seven stunning and memorable photos to enlarge to 16 x 20 and now framed and hung throughout our home, which invariably seems to prompt the question: When can we return?

I stayed in a "historic room". TV, coffee maker and door blinds didn't work. Needs some work for sure. Each guest gets a $29 charge for basically nothing, and they also added a $75 day charge in case I hung around for the day. Fortunately I left very early. I had to make a call to find out why they had a pending $75 extra charge - no notice given.

So happy to return to AZ last night and get a good night's sleep here. The rooms were so very comfortable and clean. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Beds were comfy. Pool was nice, even with warm water. Would stay here again.

Have enjoyed dining at the grill many times, finally was able to spend a few days at the resort and it did not disappoint. Great location, but you may not want to leave. Would highly recommend for the resort and its amenities.
