Hal's Radiator Services, Glendale AZ

My father took his RV there, was basically a rip off on an elderly man, was told the radiator would be replaced with a few days which turned into 5 days also told he had to pay the full services & radiator in cash, left so many things not fixed & needless to say my fathers RV is still having the same issue & also leaking anti freeze from the new radiator which was put together with zip ties & lots of bolts missing, I totally regret recommending this place but NEVER again so if your elderly DO NOT TRUST this shop cause you’ll get ripped off!

Excellent service and reasonable price. Replaced my radiator and my hoses.

Stopped in on Thursday evening with a leaky radiator and thermostat, Walter ordered all the parts, dropped it off Friday morning, newly installed radiator, hoses, fan clutch, and thermostat by lunch. Good price prompt service. Very happy

Yeah 1 star this time.last time & my 1st.time there 5 stars. WALTER WAS YELLING AT HIS SON WHEN I GOT THERE ABOUT A MONTH AGO. JULY 11 2023. HE KNEW I WAS COMING IN WITH MY RADIATOR TO HAVE LEAK FIXED. I TOLD HIM I DO NOT WANT THE "KID" TOUCHING MY RADIATOR & THAT I WANT HIM TO DO THE REPAIR. ******WELL HE DID REPAIR & SEEMED MAD ABOUT THE WORLD THAT DAY. ******BUT HE PUT OR HIM & HIS SON PUT ***DIRT IN MY RADIATOR. LOTS OF IT. HE GAVE ME A LECTURE THAT THE RADIATOR HAS "CANCER" & I PAID $60.00 & LEFT WITH MY RADIATOR. I AM A MECHANIC. I CHECKED THE RADIATOR OFF CAR BEFORE I PUT IT BACK ON MY CAR. FILLED IT WITH WATER & PRESSURE TESTED IT. THEN TOOK IT TO WASH BASIN TO FLUSH (I HAD FLUSHED IT BEFORE I TOOK IT TO HAL'S) THEREFORE I KNEW IT WAS CLEAN. HIM & SON FILLED IT WITH MASSIVE AMOUNT OF DIRT. HE PROBABLY DID NOT THINK I WOULD CHECK HIS WORK. BUT I DID! & I AM GLAD THAT I DID. BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF DIRT AND DEBRIS IN THE RADIATOR WAS NO ACCIDENT. WHAT A **CROOK**. FIND ANOTHER PLACE. IT TOOK ME 1&1/2 HOURS TO FLUSH OUT BEFORE I REINSTALLED RADIATOR ON MY CAR. ***MEAN & DISHONEST***. IF YOU LIKE THAT TYPE GO FOR IT! YOU WILL BE SAVED IF YOU READ ALL OF THIS. PASS THIS SHOP UP THE OTHER POSTS ABOUT HIS DEMEANOR ARE CORRECT TO THE BEST OF MY POST HERE.

My 2017 Duango.was overheating had a hole in radiator and replaced w/new one, was done same day before closing! The price was right! Thanks

Replaced my radiator, hoses, thermostat, serpentine belt, and fan clutch all within 4 hours for a great price. Top notch work and service, as usual. My dad went to Hal's years ago and always said Hal's was the best!

Was very straightforward and honest with his repair estimates. I have an audi which most mechanics won't even touch (even though I acknowledge they are expensive) he took care of me and for almost 3k less than the dealer. Would definitely recommend them! Hard to find honest mechanics now a days.
