Hampton Inn & Suites Flagstaff reviews
23Really nice hotel. Has all the usual Hampton items like being a clean hotel with good rooms and comfy beds, but had been recently refurbished and they did a great job with it. Felt more like a Doubletree with the appointments and there must have been 15 electrical and USB outlets (essential with kids). Well managed too with really nice staff. We love Hamptons, but we all remarked that this is one of the best we've stayed at.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. I’m assuming that pre-COVID the breakfast was much better. We stayed four nights and the last three mornings the prepackaged breakfast was the same. They had yogurt, granola bars, packaged muffins, orange juice, coffee, and an egg item each morning. The first morning was burritos and the last three mornings were an egg and cheese English muffin. The beds were very hard and there was quite a bit of road noise. We went and purchased ear plugs and that helped a lot. Laundry facilities were nice and clean but pricey. $2.50 for washer and $2.00 for dryer. Brings lots of quarters. Our suite was pretty nice. Kind of small for 5 people (2 adults, 3 teens). Never got to go to the pool because there was a limit to 10 people in the pool area because of covid. The lobby was nice. The elevators are very slow. A lot of waiting for those. Overall, a good stay. Just wish we could have had a better breakfast. There weren’t many gluten free options other than yogurt. The coffee was actually really good!
Usual Hampton/Hilton standards.clean, well maintained, friendly & helpful staff. Kudos for the housekeeping team.
Not enough ADA rooms (supposedly they only have have 3 at this location). But they found a regular room with a handrail in the shower, and housekeeping brought up a couple of shower chairs for me to choose from. We made it work. I'm a L3/L4 incomplete walking & rolling paraplegic.
Only 3 accessible parking spaces.during a 3 night stay, the spaces were frequently illegally parked in (including people with placards & plates, but parked well into the access hash marks). If you need access on your side of the vehicle but the hash marks are on the other side.back in so the access hash marks are on your side. Don't ruin the access for anyone else.
Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. Matched the price on hotel tonight app for us.
Excellent hotel, located 5 minutes driving from historic Flagstaff. Staff is genuinely caring. Service is outstanding!
Room was small and cramped. We were crammed on the first floor, next to the interstate. I may as well have placed my mattress under the bridge. It was so noisy and uncomfortable. Mattress was hard, sheets felt like I was sleeping in newspaper. Breakfast was minimal, little to no choices. Awful. Would look for another hotel before booking.
Nice clean room, friendly, courteous staff, good, hot breakfast. The only reason for not giving 5 stars; no fridge, no microwave, no restaurant guide. Most Hamptons that I've stayed in had those items, very handy for travelers. Would definitely stay here again.
Room was great, stove, fridge, sink bathroom good size. Bed could of been alot better. Tv could be better.
It was a nice stay for a family.although the paint was peeling off the wall, some of the lights were broken, the bathroom floor was sticky, they don’t provide you with enough shampoo, conditioner, etc.if you leave the a/c on for a couple hours it starts to smell bad.the parking was very limited, and the pool was cloudy with lots of hair inside and out.the breakfast was good, there is a variety of things to choose from.some of the workers were nice and friendly.the gym has some nice things to work out with.
Despite their online slogan of "modern", this place is not. It is quite beat up, with doors needing maintenance, wallpaper peeling, shower hardware corroded, the air condiyipner was incredibly loud, to name a few things. To top it off, the rug between the bed and the bathroom wall was soaked in the morning. The staff was friendly and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The price was WAY too high.
It's comfy and spacious. The staff is friendly. The beds are soft and fluffy. Great place to relax!
Only problem I had was very limited parking.
Other than that it was a real good facility.
The pool downstairs was unique with the 3ft on each end and the center was the 5ft.
Breakfast was normal but a nice setup.
Clean and comfortable with restaurants and the university within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and the staff was friendly.
Check in and out was great! Room sucked! Refrigerator in room was in the middle of the room. Ac did not work at all. Floor of bathroom was sticky.
Great place with plenty of room for the family.we will be staying here when we come through Flagstaff again.
Rooms were clean and the amenities were great. The front desk staff members were incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with. Hotel is very quiet and well suitated next to the NAU campus. Very easy to walk or drive to anywhere on campus from this hotel.
Great location for overnight stopover on the way to Grand Canyon. Friendly staff, but the rooms were dated.
Growing fond of staying at Hamptons. Fresh hot breakfast with ample fruit, juice and coffee gives a good headstart for the day. We were visiting south rim and folks at the counter gave nice pointers for the trip.
Near the city. Hands down best free breakfast buffet with the most choices and great food. The bathrooms are very nice and big. The pool was nice with doors the open, along with a smoking patio. No designated smoking areas other than that one, also was told that there is often a big fine for smoking outside during extreme wild fire warnings. The beds were soft and comfy but pillows were too firm. Staff was extremely helpful.
Friendly staff, great location, and stunning views of Humphreys Peak in the background. Great hiking and running trails within walking distance. Rooms are a little outdated, but overall an amazing stay.
