Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix-Goodyear

Don't stay here, this is the worst hotel ever. Specifically the employee Akeem has no clue what hospitality is and he should not be working in this field. I'm an easy going person, but I'm also staying here for work, and nothing works. Have had to use the laundry machines twice, and both times the dryer hasn't worked on the first cycle. Akeem actually just charged my room for 4 more quarters, when their laundry machine failed to work for the second time in my week long stay. No, "sorry our machine is still broken and for the inconvenience, " just a very rookie "I actually can't do anything about that. " when it's literally his job. The first time this happened, the employee called maintenence and gave me 4 more quarters, the obvious solution. PLEASE FIRE AKEEM, HE IS NOT FIT FOT HOSPITALITY.

Also be forewarned that the "breakfast" is just bland cereal or vats of batter that you have to make your own pancake/waffle with. No fresh fruit, yogurt, or anything even remotely nutritious and they shouldn't be allowed to call that "breakfast. "

There was no service unless I asked for it the day before. We are losing more and more time in the room with the check in being at 4 and check out is 10. And the price is going up. I don't find that right at all.

Courteous Staff, check in was convenient, my room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I enjoyed my stay at this location and will definitely be back again!

Such a lovely hotel in a really nice area of Phoenix. While they did have one elevator down, the friendliness of their team and cleanliness of the property surely makes up for that though I could see how it could be inconvenient for some.

The staff was amazing! The rooms were clean, staff was very accomodating! Great time in the pool! The pool area was great for a party for staff!

The only draw back was the breakfast was not good. The sausage was undercooked and the food lacked flavor.

Close to all kinds of places to eat and shop and was in close proximity to what we were doing there at our Spartan race I will definitely stay there again!

Worst experience I’ve EVER HAD…and I always stay at Hampton inn…despite paying over $600 for 2 nights, I arrive to be told the elevator isn’t working and I have to carry all my bags up 3 flights of stairs…then the TV in the room isn’t working, call front desk and they offer zero help. This is insane

Room furniture was nice and functional. Bed was very comfortable. I like the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and body lotion in the bathroom. Bathroom was very clean. Nice lobby area with great seating and a great breakfast.

Very nice stay and rooms were very clean. Wife and I were very happy plus it is close to the I-10 freeway.

No issues during our stay. Not a bad spot for the price. Room was small, but upgraded. Hotel is older but in good shape. Free breakfast was really good and lots of space. Neighborhood is good with lots of shops and restaurants. We will stay here again if the price is right. Overall a nice place to stay when visiting the Phoenix area.

I haven't actually completed my stay yet, but everything has been so great so far, I had to share how wonderful it's been, through night one and first morning.
My first interaction after booking was by phone with Rustin. He helped me pick out a preferred room that would overlook the parking lot, so I could keep an eye on my car. I ended up with a slightly higher fee for an upgraded room, but it was definitely worth it!
My next interaction was with Delaney, also by phone. I called her from the car to say I was running late and would be checking in late after the concert. She was pleasant and assured me she would make a note of it. I called back a few minutes later, considering getting a corner room, but it would have been an upgrade of a couple hundred per night, as it included a balcony. I turned that down.
Toward the end of the concert I messaged the hotel to see if I had a room assigned. First, Sierra responded and assured me all was good. I asked what room and Delaney responded with "cannot give that info through message. "
I then called and got Sierra and she said they can't give it by phone either, But would give it upon checkin.
On arrival, I met Delaney and Kevin. Delaney was very polite and enthusiastically helpful. I didn't initially interact with Kevin.
Delaney even made a point of saying that she could not say my room number out loud, but it was OK that I did. Clearly, security and privacy is very important to the hotel.
The room was awesome. From the full size fridge, to the stove top, to the blackout curtains over the curtains that let light in, but still not see-through, they've thought of just about everything. I interacted with Kevin and Delaney a couple more times - first about the parking and then the pool.
I had to call Kevin at 4: 15, because the neighbor's alarm had been going off for 15 minutes and had disturbed my sleep.
Kevin called the occupant and the alarm was immediately Turn off.
Up at 5: 30 for exercise in the pool. Temperature and water were both perfect. Enjoy the spa afterward.
Checked out the free breakfast but did not partake, other than some milk for later. Was headed to First Watch instead.
Will do an update when time permits, on the rest of my stay.

Great Stay, tho the hotel needs some fixing up their fridge was broken in the lobby so all the drinks are warm.

The rooms and beds are fantastic and very plushy comfortable. The breakfast was delightful. I was surprised how delicious the omelets were. The waffles and bagels were nice. There were too many unruly Latinos taking over the pool area with undisciplined kids. One kid had a bloody toe going into the pool. That's a hazard. The hotel should have some sort of security or lifeguard enforcing the rules. I recommend they need to make the pool area 21+ or have adult pool hours.

The rooms and hotel is very nice and a very good breakfast. The only drawback is that the pool area there was a little boy who had a bloody stubbed toe from the mom moving the furniture around. She still allowed him to go in swimming. We didn't go in after seeing that.

We went to see the Bible Museum & it was great! Got see one page of the Bible translated & that single page had, Jehovah, 13 times. Seeing as this is God's real name it just verified it once more.
Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I found it exciting!
The young lady at the front desk was very helpful & kind!
Will tell my friends & bring several there!

We had an excellent stay. Staff at check in were wonderful and very helping and getting me a room that my wheelchair would fit. Thank you so much and truly appreciate it. Hotel was very nice and very peaceful after my surgery.

Attractive outside appearance, staff (Sierra) was very helpful, mindful of my needs. No noise disturbing my sleep. Pillows were perfect.
