Hanger Clinic: Prosthetics & Orthotics, Sun City West AZ

Went to the Core Institute with a toe problem. Was given a order for an orthodic along with a handout listing all of the Hanger locations. Written on the handout was “no appointment necessary”. That is not the case. So I set up an appointment for their soonest available date which was a week out. Was called late afternoon the day before my appointment and they tried to reschedule me four days later because the person who was assigned to help me was sick. I understand that anyone can get sick, but really are they that busy they can’t find a way to squeeze me in? Went to Foot Solutions instead. They got me right in, very helpful and respectful. Orthodic is ordered. Foot Solutions gets five stars. Hanger gets one star because you can’t give zero.

My husband has been seeing Dennis for a few year's now. The first leg that he made him was a perfect fit. My husband said he listened to what he needed as a patient and that was something nobody has ever done before. Today my husband is picking up his second leg made from hangers. He is a 35 year's old man who has asked for a particular foot for many year's. He has always been told that his insurance wouldn't cover it. Today we are walking out of hangers with the exact foot and leg he has always dreamed of. He looks like a kid in the office. We absolutely love hangers and can't give enough credit to them.

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this location. Nada at the front desk is friendly, efficient, & helpful. She remembers your name, & makes you feel welcome. Dennis the Prostatitis is amazing! He is knowledgeable, explains everything, spends time getting to know you so he can build you the perfect prosthetic. He had me walking comfortably in my new leg in less than 2 months after my amputation. He got me the k3 foot I wanted & my socket is a work of art. It fits like a glove, & looks amazing. I know I have a long road ahead of me but with Dennis's team, I know I'm not alone, & he'll do whatever it takes to keep me comfortable & in motion. I highly recommend Dennis, his experience, skill & ability to listen to his patients is exceptional.

I been trying to get a hold of the lady that handles refunds/billing due to them over charging me for my knee brace. I forgot her name BUT every time I do get a hold of her she states that she will call corporate to see if the check that they sent out a year ago was ever deposited she said would call me back. I never received the check, she never called me back and everytime I do call it goes straight to vm as if she was ignoring my calls on purpose. I talked to the receptionist to tell her to give me a call SEVERAL times but no luck. Still waiting for my check after 1 year of calling and no response no progress what so ever. Will not go back to this place again and will not recommend to anyone else. I cannot believe how this lady is handling this situation.

Moved to Phoenix from the west coast a year ago, I have a BK amputation and have used the same prosthetics specialist for years so moving away and having to find another specialist was very stressful.
I called Hanger in Sun City West and made an appointment to see Dennis. Dennis suggested making me a new leg with a different foot and a different socket, I told him I was very picky on looks and fit, he said he was up for the challenge.
My new leg took a little getting use to but with Dennis’s expertise and guidence I am wearing the best fitting leg I have ever had in the 50 years since my accident.
I never had a problem getting in for an appointment when I needed an adjustment.
