Happy Valley - Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center, Phoenix AZ

Attempted to buy a desk from here, went thru with payment pulled around with my Dodge Grand Caravan Crew that would easily fit the desk if you turned the desk, they refused to do so. Then the guy working the back said you don’t know anyone with a truck and scoffed when we said no. We just moved here. We don’t know anyone, but what we do know is we won’t be back here again!

The prices in here can be laughably high. Even the cheap plastic items from the dollar tree are marked at $3.49. Most items are marked 19.99 and 29.99 that are very similar for sale at other thrift stores for 7.99. I'm not sure who is marking these prices but they should really consider the market.it's Goodwill.

The wicker style baskets you pay. 99 for at other Goodwills are marked between 2 and 4 bucks here.you know what granny baskets I'm talking about. That should say it all. I managed to pay $26 for 3 baskets and a small shelf tonight. That's kind of outrageous and I won't be stepping back in this one when the one on Pinnacle is closer and marked with much better prices. I did like the cashier working today. Young man with black hair and a kind attitude. Thanks for making check out easier than most other thrift shops!

Super clean with done great clothes! Specifically the men's jacket and suits were outstanding. Also, my boys got $50+ nerff guns for five dollars each!

This goodwill always has decent things. Came here the other day and found a few furniture items that were in great condition. The back staff was super friendly and nice and helped me right away. Store is usually clean. Only came here once maybe twice when the store was not. Staff is usually very nice. Always one of my stops when going to Goodwills.

This is a great Goodwill clean well spaced, it was really organized. This store has lots of newer looking clothing, for everyone but mostly women's clothing. Though there was not I mean only a handful of electronics like 20 'ish items. And good air conditioning

It’s a good store but the prices are very high. People donate their items for free but Goodwill put their prices very high. It’s a charity organization.

When in for an interview at this location and people are just gave me the runaround trying to get a job I have a disability the manager There told me to come in for an interview never showed up to his interview and came 15 minutes early for the interview and tried to call him to talk to him about it very rude on the phone and just don’t understand why he did that to me knowing my situation the managers name was mon Dragon

They double or triple the price of items if they dont have a price tag so if there isnt a tag don't bother or you will be paying 30$ for a 10$ item. Also they look at you like you like you are the one scammong them even though it's the complete opposite. No more old ladies at goodwill they are mean and greedy. Please support Savers or St Vincent they are much more competent.

Not as bad as it could've been. Better than most Goodyear/Avondale locations, very spread out and costumer service was A+

Pretty decent Goodwill. The parking is tricky sometimes, especially when it's busy. I've been here when there was no parking. But it's a nice store. Clean and as organized as a second hand shop can be.

One of the cleaner yet smaller locations for Goodwill. The inventory is a bit better quality and abundance due to the donations made by the surrounding community.convenient drive through donations, can be made under the canopy.

It was decent. Not too dirty, but nothing impressive. I found some good useable stuff for decent prices. I love Goodwill in general. Actually one thing was impressive, my cashier was super friendly. I liked her a lot, wish I would have looked at her name tag so I could give her recognition.

They want $4.99-$5.99 for plain XL women’s t-shirts that are covered in fabric fuzz and worn down, some with holes.
$12.99 for men’s khaki shorts 42 waist.
Going to Walmart.

I love going into Goodwill and finding some really cute things whether it be clothes, shoes or purses (but only on its 50% off days which is today April 7th and every other Saturday) but I hate going inside Goodwill and seeing something that I just purchased at the Dollar Tree for 1.00 that Goodwill is selling for a 1.99.

Awesome place except for the people who constantly steal the CD's I want and leave an empty case.helpful staff

Nice things in electronics but men's jeans looked dirty and smallest waist size they had was 32"

I was happy to find what I was looking for at this Goodwill. It was neatly packaged and easy to get to. I always like to talk to employees because they keep it fun.
