Harbor Freight Tools reviews
17Always have what I need. Don't know about the members club tho. Had it awhile and nothing I've bought has been discounted nor have I received any benefit.
Best place ever. We get all our tools there. They are having their Black Friday sale now with some great buys.
My husband recently purchased a 26 gal Fortress compressor. It’s a very nice upright unit but when he tried to utilize it, didn’t work. He called customer support. We were advised to return the compressor for a replacement. We returned it to the North Tucson location. The whole process was seamless. Upon entering the store, Richard H.greeted us & asked how he could help. He’s an amazing representative for Harbor Freight. There was another HF employee but I don’t have her name. She helped during the process also. Fabulous customer service! I highly recommend this location & greatly appreciate the assistance we received!
Good store for cheap tools. This location has a large homeless population, so they have an armed guard.
Store employees are helpful.
The security man was standing at the door and didn't want to move while I was trying to enter the store to buy the tools I needed.after a good 50 seconds and maybe a minute, he hid from the entrance.bad for customers is there.
As usual, I have a project in mind and was looking for the right tool. Didn't see it on the shelves but I asked up getting and someone pulled it from the back.
The right tool @ the right price.
I come here to get my first whatever. It gives me time to learn a tool at a reasonable price. If it's not something I use often, no big financial expense.
For example, I bought my first reciprocating saw at HF and used it for over five years of projects before passing it off to someone else.
There are actually no stars in the world to give this store. (Unfortunately you can’t post unless you give at least one star, b.s.) This store’s security person made it a point to follow my husband through their store. This elderly guy (growing a beard like Santa) obviously profiled my husband to be a thief in their store. To add to this man’s ignorance he racially profiled my husband, as he did not follow ANY Caucasian customers. This is just stupid. Low standards demonstrated from their employees…. Ugh…sickening.
I had a very ugly experience I was followed around by a old white breaded security guy it's very sad that harbor freight is okay with this type of behavior from it's security!
I was walking around looking for a present for my father when I was noticed I was being followed by a bearded old white man. When I asked the manager about it, I was informed that security was following me around for no apparent reason other than my looks and the color of my skin. I will never go back to harbor freight and I am amazed that this man is able to continue to work there despite clearly demonstrating racial bias towards PAYING customers.
I came into harbor freight on oracle and prince to get a couple of items for my grill at home.upon entering the store, a very loud and demeaning security guard TOLD me, not asked me to leave my backpack on the dirty harbor freight floor. I advised him that i had medication in my backpack and didn't feel comfortable leaving the bag unattended on the floor. As i walked up him, he was on the phone with somebody, and when i told him i was not feeling comfortable leaving my prescriptions unattended on the floor, he said to the person on the phone " are you hearing this? ", in an instant attempt to assess his power and control as a security guard. I then proceded to let the security guard and cashier know that i was a harbor freight customer and had purchased a yearly member ship service for around $30-$45 and i didn't appreciate being treated as a thief, to which i was called a liar because "the member ship only costs $29.99 a year. " i attempted to shop for my items but the security guard threatened to arrest me and imposed his body in front of mine, making it impossible for me to advance without an altercation. I was humiliated in front of other customers and told not to come back.when i returned 5 seconds later to show the employees that i in fact was a customer and had my member card in hand after getting it from my wallet, i was told that it didn't mean anything and that i should leave before the police arrived.i have a backpack because that's where i carry my items while on the bus. While not all of us are fortunate enough to have our own vehicle and put things in our trunks, we should not be treated as second class citizens.i called corporate and they said a district manager would be reaching out within 5 days, and that was 2-3 weeks ago. Just know that security can't tell the difference between a hardworking man and drug addict who steals from them, we are all the same to Harbor freight.
The young man with the dreads can't read or remember numbers I watched 4 customers in line repeat several things.
Excellent experience! Richard H made sure I got what I needed, and provided positive energy throughout 3 different interactions. First time ever going will definitely be coming again! Shout out Richard!
The store was well organized and the staff was friendly and helpful and the prices are very good.
I can always find treasures at Harbor Freight. It's not always about tools. On my last trip, a bag of cable ties (mine is getting low), a bag of mini glue sticks (I'm almost out), carabiners (one can never have too many), a moving blanket (to keep the cargo area of my car clean), and a cable cuff organizer. It holds and hangs up electrical cords. A new product for me to try. I love it. I'm picking up a couple more the next time I'm there.
Always will to help customers, the employees really know every product in the store. Not like Home Depot. The Lady Manager at Oracle location is AWESOME
People there are always helpful. Theey always seem to have what I need to get the job done.
Great place for a tool junkie like me. I always need to fix stuff at my relatives house when I am in Tucson and I need to buy "something" in order to get it done properly - every time Harbor Freight it is (after looking at the usual suspects first)
