Harold's Cave Creek Corral reviews
36Went there for the 1st time yesterday with my husband we sat at the bar and had OUTSTANDING service by Amanda. She is an excellent staff member. Offered suggestions for food and drinks without being asked. She is on top of it. The wings were excellent she suggested. We will be back and hope she is working that day:)
My wife and mines first time. Met a couple fraternity brothers up there. It did not disappoint as we had a great meal and enjoyed the people watching as it was Cave Creek Rodeo weekend and the live band was awesome! People of all ages out dancing.
Great draft selection, had the Prime Ribs Tacos which were really good. Local bar with great food selection and very friendly staff!
Poor customer service. Walked around ten minutes trying to get find help to get a table. Got the order wrong when we finally did eat. Food was good though.
Food is terrible, service is worse and the joint is far far away. The only reason we have been going there is the ambiance of Steelers games. Every year we buy the same table during the first preseason game. This year they sold our seats to us as well as two rude bullies who came to remove us from our seats during the second quarter. These guys harassed us endlessly. They were cursing and saying “let’s take this outside”. The staff did not intervene and the owner was nowhere to be found to resolve the dispute. We had to put up with these characters constantly bothering us at our table for nearly 20 minutes. Finally when the owner showed up he told us the two rude dudes would get the seats we had bought year after year!
Hosted a large gathering last minute and got me out of a huge jam. The food was great and the atmosphere was down home. I love this place!
Food was good, service was alright, if a bit haphazard. I'd be willing to come back and give it another go for sure.
Service was terrible. Very few people seated and we waited to have our order taken. Don't order the fish sandwich. Couldn't imagine what it would be like if it was crowded. Fifty dollars for a simple lunch that should have cost no more than 15 - 18 dollars. We ordered one ice tea (with no refills) and water. Stay away and save your time and money.
Very interesting place, quite rustic. Would expect them to play country music which they did some, but mainly was a lot of rap. They were doing the going show & it was quite loud. Food was excellent as was the service. We tried the San Tan beer, but opted for Blue Moon. Another person at our table tried the Oak Creek Nut Brown Ale, then we all tasted it since it was all family members in our party. WOW, we're we impressed it's got great body & is extremely smooth, with no bitterness with either a coffee or chocolate after taste. I dont normally like beer or most ales & I helped drink about half the glass of the first glass.
Our waitress told us the Chicken Parm was enough for 2 people to split & she wasn't joking. It's a huge meal we could have feed 3 people off it. The fish & chips were delicious & huge serving as well. Coleslaw is a little to sweet for my taste, but another person at our table loved it. Someone else got the meatball sandwich, they dont skimp on your food here all portions are huge at least for our family. I'm sure some would say it's just right, but we left with leftovers. If they got the dinner rolls from a bakery close by make sure to get some with butter. They are one of the best rolls I've ever eaten & I'm not a big bread fan. Most times I order burgers or sandwiches without bread.
So bring your appetite your gonna need it. I'm betting there's not anything on the menu that's not great tasting. Enjoy your stay.
Western cow-poke kinda place. The guys drink beer and the gals are all jeans & bling. When there’s entertainment BRING earplugs- otherwise you’ll regret it (seriously). Parking during events is like finding a pair of chicken lips. And the parking lot is loose sand so don’t plan on sandals. The bar is small, the food awful & overpriced but the friendly and smiling service balances everything out nicely. Cowboy up & boogeymen down.
Always like to stop at Heinz Stadium West when in Cave Creek, but you don't have to be a Steelers fan to enjoy food and drinks at Harold's
The place is a ripoff, go there to watch football on Sunday you have to buy a table seat lisense. $85 and up just to sit down.not enough help waited 45 minutes for a server.he jams way to many bodies in the place you can't move.never go back
Enjoyed the band on Thursday. Arizona blues project. Made it worth the trip. Food is good and music was great.
Harold's is a Cave Creek landmark. They has decent food. A lot of locals visit and work at Harold's. Great atmosphere!
Food here is so good! A place where I ask for my burger medium and thats how i get it! Omelets are on point too!
No guns allowed, 5% Az Prop 206 assessment on bill, snippy waitress, ordered medium rare burger, served a burger that was well done.jus my. 2 cents.
I dont understand. I called last week and they said first come first serve. I show up early and the first question I get is if I have a reservation.
Well recently got the chance to see Mogollon for the first time & they were fantastic & the bartending was top notch
Don't do the buffet, order of the menu, a superior breakfast to be sure. Good food, fast friendly service sitting at the bar. You will enjoy it.
It was not busy at all for a Friday night. Which is surprising considering the bar across the street was packed.
