Friendly staff & cooked to order breakfast in the dining room. We requested a queen room and ended up with a double queen room, which was a bit of a tight squeeze. As mentioned, walls are thin - especially when it comes to the pipes. But for the price and location, it's a great little spot!

The walls are thin. I heard everything in the hall, on both sides and above. The bed was uncomfortable and small.i didn't get any rest due to the noise and horrible bed. The room, and especially the bathroom are tiny. It's very difficult to use the toilet because the wall is so close, there's no room for your legs to sit and I'm only 5'2. My college dorm room was nicer back in 1994 and they tore those buildings down.it's very overpriced! I won't be coming back. (Booking was under Miller)

We were in town for my grandpas funeral and this was the only place the had availability for the weekend. While the website quotes $150ish range for a room, my mom went through the booking on the website and it said she would need to call to see if anything was available for the date requested. All said and done, we had to pay nearly $300 after taxes and fees, and though we had a room with two beds that says it sleeps up to 4 people, they charged $15 for me as a third person. The hotel is cute and vintage and reminds me of my great grandmas house, but beware that the rooms are tiny, the bathroom is tiny, and the walls are paper thin. They also have loud music playing downstairs till 9, so if you want to go to bed early, light sleepers will have a tough time. I get that it’s an old hotel, they can’t change the layouts of the rooms, yada yada yada, but shouldn’t the price reflect the quality of the stay? At least include a free breakfast like most hotels if you’re going to charge so much for what you’re getting. Anyway, writing this review is for my mom because she’s too tired and emotionally exhausted to check us all out and leave tonight to head back to San Diego, though both of my parents seriously considered it.
