Hatch It: Green Chile Burgers & Tacos, Phoenix AZ

I saw a similar response on their green Chile pork burrito. It’s was full of fillers with very little meat and I did expect it to have a little more kick as it was mild. We also had the street tacos and was surprised it only had the meat, cheese, and 1 piece of cilantro.

Great place the burger is definitely the highlight of my visit! I would highly suggest it! Service was excellent super friendly and quick

This place was fire! Like those red hot chili peppers on the front counter. This place was phenomenal. Service, food, courtesy, EVERYTHING! I got the green pulled pork burrito with the bowl of soup. The salsa was just so light and fresh, combined with the warmness of the atmosphere i would definitely recommend. Compliments to the chef. I had to just go and try some their desserts as well. The magic bar and the caramel bar were just amazing. I didn't catch the guy behind the counters name but he wore a red Jesus ketchup apron which I loved! He also gave great recommendations. Downside is the common karen just waiting on the outskirts with the hyenas ready to pounce. That has nothing to do with the business, but clientele can let it be known my presence is mexican dirt weed. So Mexican that I JUST HAD to ask the chef is she was. She said no, but gave me a great history on her family carrying the spice line generations. So Karen's of the wild. Think twice before you go insulting a business and clientele. I won't be coming back, but I did enjoy everything.

Excellent! We are from New Mexico and the food here is fantasitc. Great service and atomosphere. I will recommend this restaruant to everyone I know.

Every time I buy food from this place I order at least 4 sandwiches but I always ask for no green chili on one cuz it’s to hot for my mom but every single time they never listen and always have chili so my mom can’t eat her breakfast, Waist of money

Green Chili stew was good but had a lot of pork, and not enough chili. Flour tortilla was awesome! Can't wait to try more off the menu!

Excellent New Mexican food with a connected cafe, love this place. The green chile stew & carne adobada burrito hit the spot.

Great food. Great place to get your Chilli fix. The best New Mexico Chilli in town. True NM Chilli. If you don't like Chilli that's okay. They have great pizza, sandwiches and baked goods as well. Oh the fresh bread, cookies, cakes and pies. Muah! Go hungry and leave happy.

Love the green chili burgers. Tacos are more like street tacos, side sauce was nice and spicy. Kettle hero's popcorn they sell is amazing, buy 3 or 4 bags each visit.

The food here is amazing and the staff is awesome! Definitely one of the best places in Phoenix!

Always a great experience here at hatchet the green chili is almost good enough to say to-die-for but I still want to live so I can keep on eating it everything else on the menu was absolutely delicious but I keep it Old skool and stick to the green chili with beef you can't go wrong burrito must weigh about 3 it's about time I came back

I'm never disappointed when I eat here. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner.
I can't pick just one dish, they are all amazing.

I love hatch chile on anything.

My burrito had a great taste, although there were undone potatoes in it-that I didn't even ask for.
I will give the taste 5 stars
The price on the other hand is a different story.
$13 for 1 burrito, i'll give THAT 1 star.
If they last another year they'll be lucky with these extra high prices. (Just think if I'd asked for extra cheese & SC? Oh my God, it would have been over $20.f o r a b u r r i t o)
It really Tasted good until I found out how much my friend paid for it.

Yet another disappointment with yet another burrito shop stuffing their burritos with fillers of beans n potatoes and not the main ingredient.
Everyone trying to be a Taco Bell clone with their burritos stuffed full of lies. Small portion of meat.

If I order a green chili pork burrito, I expect it to be the main ingredient and not the beans.
Especially since that burrito cost $12 by itself.

If you guys want to know what a green chili pork burrito is try the Arizona burrito at Barrio Queen all meat no fillers. $15

The hamburgers are great. My favorite is the green chili one. The fries are good too. I get the loaded fries. They sometimes are a bit to wet from the chilli juice.
The atmosphere feels a little crowded but you can sit and eat in other areas in the restraint and bakery store. Its all connected. I should start trying there burritos and tacos soon.

A small quaint place with delicious food. The staff were hard working. The head chef personally delivered each selection to your table. Definitely on my list for a return visit.

Cozy and the staff is friendly. But the beans taste like canned beans but I can't confirm that. The burrito had too much potatoes beans. Honestly it wasn't good, go to the gas station get yourself a Don Miguel The Bomb burrito and you'll spend less $5 vs $11+tip
