Let me just say that Dr Sandeen is one of the nicest Doctor I have ever met. I had an upper eye lid lift and I love the results! My recovery after that was so good. I never had any pain, just some bruising. The best bedside manner ever! More docs should take lessons from him! He is a busy busy man, but he makes you feel as if you were his only patient… best all around!

I was referred to Dr. Sven Sandeen by Ironwood Dermatology. I was nervous but resolute about fixing an ugly ectopic pregnancy scar from 15 years ago that was lumpy, unattractive, and hurt my self confidence. Dr. Sandeen listened attentively to my concerns and responded with options and honesty. I really didn’t know if surgery was the answer or whether I just needed to hit the gym harder. The answer was a combination of the two. Surgery was the only answer for the lumpy scar, but we decided to add liposuction to my belly and thighs for a balanced and beautiful result that could be maintained by daily exercise. My surgery and recovery was flawless. My appointments were happy and satisfying, and I am so pleased with my flat tummy and sculpted thighs. Dr. Sandeen does beautiful work. And the price was right. Thank you for making the decision so easy!

Dr. Sandeen is the best! I did research with other Dr. 's for the bilateral brachioplasty. He was the best bedside manner. He was confident without being cocky. He informed me of all the risks. He listened to and answered all of my questions until I felt comfortable. His office was incredibly responsive with any post surgery concerns that I had. I would choose him for any other procedures in the future. Plus - I mean the results are amazing.

Dr. Hess replaced two joints in my fingers 10 weeks ago. I have had osteoarthritis since I was 39 and my fingers over the years have become bent and extremely painful. Another doctor said all he could do is fuse them but when I checked with Dr. Hess, he said he could replace the joints with silicone joints. I am so glad to say that the pain is gone in those fingers. They are still stiff but after 10 weeks of physical therapy, I have full use of my fingers and am ready to sign up for two more fingers on my other hand. Dr. Hess has been amazing through this entire procedure. I didn't even know this was possible and am so glad that I continued looking and asking questions.

Dr. Sandeen is wonderful! He removed a fatty cyst on my forehead and was so professional, caring, and skilled at his craft. I would recommend him to family & friends. If I need any future plastic surgery I would like him to do the work.

Dr. Sandeen did my abdominoplasty in September. From my first appointment with him I knew he would be the perfect fit. He was so friendly and accommodating, especially his office staff. All the ladies in the office always spoke to me as if they know me, so warm and welcoming. Dr. Sandeen also answered allllll my questions, even though I felt some of mine were dumb questions. He completely made me feel like I was in good hands. And I was! My results are better than I could have ever imagined. Seriously. I wish I could post my before and afters here. I’ve followed his instructions and listened to all his advice and everything is healing beautifully. At two months post op I’m extremely impressed and can’t wait to see what a year post op looks like. I’ve told friends and family about Dr. Sandeen and I will continue referring everyone to him. If you’re reading this because you’re thinking about having work done, do yourself a favor and go ahead and schedule that consultation with Dr. Sandeen.

Dr. Sandeen and his staff are wonderful. After having to to go though chemo and several surgeries for breast cancer, I decided to finish it with a double mastectomy. I wanted to do reconstruction though. All of the treatments made me feel like someone else was looking back in the mirror. I needed a small part of myself to still be there. It is a very invasive and scary thing to go though but Dr. Sandeen did an amazing job in explaining what I might expect and how the process works. I am now mostly done and starting to like myself. He is very skilled and my scars are minimal compared to what they could have been and are getting better by the day. I would highly recommend Dr. Sandeen for anyone having to deal with the decision of whats next after breast cancer. Thank you to everyone there who helped get me though this time:)

Dr. Sandeen is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. He is detail oriented, wonderful bed side manner and a great personality. I had healing issues after my mastectomy and he saw me weekly for several months. I was able to email with questions and get quick responses. His office staff is A+ with customer service. Their office runs like clock work. Dr. Sandeen is a gifted surgeon who knows what needs to be done when issues arise. I am extremely happy with the results of my reconstruction and actually think I look better after my mastectomy than before.

My husband visited Doctor Hess. There was no explanation about his biopsy. No explanation in detail of the operation and no explanation post-surgery. Very unprofessional and not friendly. Will not take the time with the patient. Could be second opinion with another plastic surgeon that care for the patient. Not recommended.

I was referred to Dr. Richard Hess by my dermatologist for squamous carcinoma removal on my nose and reconstructive surgery after the removal procedure.

My experience could not have been better!

Dr. Hess removed 100% of the carcinoma and I still can't believe how he made the 'hole' magically disappear. He moved a piece of healthy skin into the affected area and closed it perfectly.

It has been a week after surgery and already now it looks like barely anything happened! Excellent medical specialist and what's more: a fun, interesting and very personable individual to be with.
