High Risk Pregnancy Center of Arizona, Peoria AZ

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Don't go here. First appointment, they left me sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours. Myself and other patients had to keep asking how much longer. Turns out the Dr wasn't even there and no one communicated that or offered anyone to reschedule. Then, come to find out my ultrasound tech wasn't scheduled enough time to get everything she needed so was told I would have to come back to finsh the rest of the ultrasound. I schedule a second appointment for a month later, no appointment reminders by either phone or email so I had to dig in my email looking for something to confirm it. I took down the appointment as 8: 30 and put that in my calendar, however the email said 9. So, I get there at 9 only to be told it was for 8: 30. I told the girl the email said 9 and she told me that was for Dr. Patel, but I needed to be there at 8: 30 for the ultrasound. So they scheduled only 30 mins once again for the ultrasound (not enough time, I presume) but didn't even include that time in my appointment email. They tell me they can squeeze me in but I would have to wait for someone to be late to their appointment. After the first appointment of waiting 3 hours, no thanks! Also, the staff is very unprofessional. The girls sit up front talking and gossiping. My first appointment, the ultrasound tech was interrupted in the middle of my ultrasound by one of the girls walking in the room to ask if she wanted Starbucks. Trust me. Don't go here.

Dr. Patel and his staff Diamond and Erika at the Peoria location and very welcoming and informative as well as the ultrasound techs. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Diamond is very friendly and helpful. Dominque went above and beyond and got us some really good pictures of our baby. I was very happy with my visit

So I went to the Peoria location today & When I say that the front desk girls were amazing and friendly I mean that! But it got even better once I got to the back. HIBA IS AMAZING not only was she friendly but she gave me without a doubt the best ultrasound I have had! Would recomend them 10/10

Everyone is super welcoming and very informative! They seem to really want what’s best for their patients and take the time to listen to concerns. All of the questions I have asked have been answered in depth and they are very prompt to respond to emails if i have any additional questions. The ultrasound tech is very sweet and does a great job at ensuring you are comfortable. I am very happy my OB referred me to this office.

I love that I chose Dr Patel as my MFM doctor. I'm 20 wks and he has been taking the best of care of me along with my OB. I feel safe and have no doubt that things will continue healthy and safe. His MA Diamond is very welcoming and efficient. Hiba is the most efficient ultrasound tech I've ever met. She is thorough and answers any questions you may have about your baby during your ultrasound. Any mom may feel nervous about having to go to a high risk doctor during pregnancy but I promise coming here will ease any worry. We're in great hands with Dr Patel & his staff:)

All of the staff here are amazing and super friendly. They take very good care of their new and regular patients, as if they’re family. Location is always very clean which is a plus. Would recommend this office to anyone.

My wife recently had an appointment for an ultrasound for our twins and we left completely satisfied with the service of the all the staff including the staff up front, Erika and Diamond. Dr. Patel was very descriptive and informative, clearing the concerns my wife and I had. Hiba, our ultrasound tech was very professional and made us feel comforting during our 2 hour ultrasound! Thanks to all the staff! We are happily ready for our upcoming appointments.

The ladies at the front desk are incredibly unprofessional. Every time I’ve been there, I hear them talking about patients behind their backs. From actual medical information to just straight gossip. They aren’t quiet about it, not that they should be doing it anyway. Very concerning hearing what they are comfortable talking about.

Not pleased with my appointment yesterday at this location. I originally was supposed to go to the Phoenix location, it’s where I went last time and had a fabulous experience, but because they are having AC issues they sent me to Peoria. I only had to do a second anatomy appointment because my baby was very stubborn and wouldn’t let the tech at the Phoenix location get all the images needed.

Anyway, at the Peoria location it was just very awkward. No one seemed to be there, just 2 ladies at the front desk and one lady doing the images. When the woman called me back, she brought me to a VERY DARK ultrasound room. Like, darker than my bedroom when I go to sleep at night. The chair was laid back so low I had to hold my head up just to see the screen. I know, I probably could have asked to fix it but the woman was not very talkative…like at all. She then asks me as she is looking at my babies chest “do heart murmurs run in your family? ” And then “did you take the genetic testing for Down syndrome? ”
Uhm, no to the first question and yes to the second, baby is perfect.
I then ask her if everything looked okay and she stated “legally I’m not allowed to say, only the doctor can tell you. ”

Now let me say, when I went to the Phoenix location, the technician answered every question I had and talked to me like I was a person and reassured me my baby was on track and good.

I’m also very upset that I have not received the pictures…I asked this woman if they had my email so they could send them and she said yes, but I would only get a few because a lot of them are for the doctor.okay, I understand. I only asked because the Phoenix location had me write my email address on a piece of paper, so I told the Peoria tech that and she just said that they had it and if they were sent last time that they would be sent this time as well.
When I went to the Phoenix location, the technician sent me pictures within 30 minutes. I am still waiting for my pictures to be sent from the Peoria location.

At the end of the appointment she says to me “and like I said, everything looks great. ” Uhm, she didn’t say anything like that throughout the whole scan or make it sound like everything was great. I’m at the point where Im considering setting another appointment with the Phoenix location when they AC is fixed and do it all over again.

My midwife sent me here for my mid-pregnancy anatomy ultrasound and I was extremely pleased with my experience! Like most women, I was nervous about this exam due to hearing so many horror stories & just the natural motherly concern.
Hiba was amazing! She was kind & explained what we were looking at throughout the scan. She updated us with her findings in real time & emailed me photos of our perfect angel immediately after the exam!
I would really recommend everyone to this center for their ultrasound needs after my amazing experience. My husband and I left our appointment very happy & excited. We both got teary eyed just from the happiness we experienced. Definitely will come here again for my next pregnancy! Thank you Hiba:)

Excellent service 10 out of 10, Ultrasound tech Hiba was friendly and super nice and answered all my questions with patience and grace. I feel very confident that the remainder of my pregnancy will continue to be healthy and monitored with this practice by my side. Everyone is very polite and respectful. I’m so happy with the level of care I received. Thank you!
