Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport reviews
16There was a server in the free breakfast area (Tera) who was very helpful and pleasant! Every morning she greeted the customers with a friendly smile and showed them the breakfast offerings. In 5 days of staying there, I never saw a frazzled or impatient server. She was the best. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant just by your kind and helpful attitude!
When my wife (a silver-level Hilton Honors member) and I stayed here, we were told that the free water upon check-in is no longer offered and we were charged $4 for two bottles. But Hilton's own website still lists complementary water as a benefit of being a silver- or higher-level member. If Hilton is still advertising benefits that it doesn't actually provide, this is incompetence at the least. This is a poor way to treat your customers. Your website should be updated to reflect the reduction in Hilton Honors benefits.
This hotel is way overpriced. It looked nothing like the pictures posted. The room had a strong musky smell and had dirty carpets we paid more for a "suite" and this is what they gave us. The hotel is located next to some kind of construction company which makes a lot of noise very early in the morning.
Hilton is our go to brand. We book with the app and usually never have an issue. Well sometimes things happen. We booked a room with 2 beds and received a confirmation email. When we arrived they didn’t have 2 beds available. My Mom and I like to sleep in our own bed, especially when traveling. We were tired and exhausted from driving and wanted to get into bed, watch a little TV and sleep. Well we get to the room to find out that we have been upgraded to a king suite. Ok 2 beds as in 1 king and one pull out couch. Not in the mood to have to set it up. So went back down and that is how we found out they were sold out of 2 bed rooms and that was the reason for the suite upgrade, not really wanted at this point to have to mess with but no other option. At least the pull out was more comfortable than expected. It should have been told to us when we checked in however, customers really want to know what is going on more than being surprised. Hilton is usually better at that so I was disappointed at the customer service here. Just next time it would be great to know what I am walking into rather than not being told.
The kitchen staff is what made it for me. I stayed here for 4 days and morning and night they were amazing. I felt like part of the family! Raul knows how to cook and B was on top of her service. I will definitely be staying here again- I was so happy. They made my day everyday!
Stayed there in Feb and came back to pick up something my colleague forgot last week. The staff was super cool same as when I stayed there in Feb but didn’t write a review. Great hotel and staff!
Clean & friendly, bar has a good menu to choose from, food was good and beer was cold, great service.
Very clean, check in was super easy, you have the bar and resteraunt down stairs, 24/7 waffle house next door, I checked out an hr before check out, and not even 5 minutes down the street they call me to let me know I left my JBL speaker in the room! Thank you guys again for letting me know so quick before i headed back up to Show Low 3 hrs away! Will definetly be back, also keep in mind they have shuttles to the airport! AWESOME STAFF!
We were given key to a room that was being occupied. We went downstairs and returned the key to the front desk person and asked to speak to the manager. Out came a gentleman who announced himself as Mr Kenneth Collins “the manager”. I insisted he take us upstairs to be sure our room was safe, and he responded, “you will not tell me what to do. ” I then asked him if he was concerned for our safety but before I could finish he said he was processing our refund and we should leave the property. This all happened at 9pm. Unsafe property and very fishy. Poor management.
I like to stay in hotels with a restaurant inside of it while traveling for work due to convenience. The restaurant in this hotel is not good. Staff is friendly but the food quality is seriously lacking. Cheap food off the discount Sysco truck. It was bad enough i left a review, I don’t do that often.
Just like any hotel I guess. Customer service was not that great, i didn't feel welcome at all. The room kind of smell like very old carpet. Otherwise clean, comfy and has many amenities.
My family and I checked in last night Room 320. This morning my right upper leg was bitten up by bed bugs. We ended up checking out this morning. We were going to saty 2 nights. But after what happened we had to check out this morning. Manager said she called an exterminator. Had the room checked out. No signs of bed bugs. FYI people be aware?
Used to we would get a bottle or two of water, but now its 2 bucks each.rooms were fine.airport shuttle runs right on time and was the main reason for staying there
Really nice location to the airport. John the shuttle driver is awesome and was quick to pick me up. Check in was super easy with the nice young lady atbthe desk. Room is clean and spacious. Nice job. Definitely recommend.
Good location if going to Airport. Great staff. Very nice large rooms with keurig coffee maker. Full Bar & Breakfast. Pet fee $50. I would stay here again if in the area.
Overall the room was warm, the ac unit struggled to keep up with the heat. Beds were ok only 3 pillows per bed 2 people per bed. Upper floor would creak every time someone would walk upstairs. Not the greatest I've come to know from a Hilton Hotel. Disappointing to say the least and the point are not worth using here.
