Great experience as always. I was politely greeted at the door. CJ at the RC counter was very knowledgeable and helped me select two Traxxas TRX-4M Broncos for an upcoming Raffle. Very cool store, helpful staff. Not only do they have a wide variety of hobby items but also a very large selection for each to satisfy all different hobbies.

If I could give it a zero I would. Went in there to check it out and find a new coloring book and I pick up a folder thing to see if my coloring books would fit in it and then the guy got loud enough everyone in the store could here asking me to see the coloring book I stole showed him I didn’t. What I was doing but because I had 1 purse and a tote bag they thought. Never been so embarrassed in my life then get up to the front she tells me I should have showed her my bags or zipped them up but she didn’t say anything when I walked in. I make enough money not to steal a 5 dollar coloring book Thanks for restoring the respect you should have for your customers

Always good to be in the area where this shop is. Only place that I know of that has a large selection of models, and hobby to scale gas powered vehicles. Was in high hope to pick up some Tester paints. Selection was so small and limited.

So I really miss going to the Hobby Bench I've known Lee and his wife since I believe 1982 when they were in PV Mall and I was only around 11 or 12 my mom and dad would take me in there and I was in heaven this is when Tamiya was all the rage with the Wild Willy and Superchamp, Sand Scortcher I've had all of them and still do to this day.
There was a man named Jerry that would always help me and my dad he was into trains I wonder what happened to him? Lee if you read this let me know if Jerry is still around?
Anyway I carry the hobby on as I'm now 52 I live in California now and still go back and forth to Az as my wife and I own a couple homes in N Scottsdale still but plan on selling soon. But came on here just to reminisce

I bought a horizon hobby jet boat for my little boy for Christmas, used it 15 minutes and the steering stuck turned to one side and would only go in a circle, took it back to hobby bench and they were reluctant to stand behind it and said I should call the factory and work it out with them, after talking to the owners daughter, she said she would replace it with a new one, I was very happy with the way she handled it. I will continue to do business with them, and would highly recommend them.

Nice store nice employee's I only took one star because they never keep stuff stocked I would prefer to go into a store and pick up what I need not order it or order it online only been back in rc hobby for a year now but have built 2 and bought 3 the rustler is now all been replaced with parts from hobby bench and I take my daughter in with me because they have other toys

I brought my husband and son here to look around (never been here before) and my son wasn't acting right I asked him to stop and told home to quiet down (I am NATURALLY LOUD.sorry y'all can't handle that) I am also 26 weeks prego. And the lady rude rude walked back to the back of the store and said "would you quit" I grabbed my son and said I will not be told or treated like that. And they said I am no longer allowed at the store. Pull up your video record and see how she spoke to me. And then asked what kind of kid I was raising. A gentlemen one that's not gonna walk all over me in the store. Will not returning.

Above average selection of Gunpla and other Bandai plamo kits. They carry a wider variety than other hobby shops in the area, including a few high-end MG kits. Bit more expensive than online retailers ($5-$10), but staff are attentive and courteous. Salesperson I spoke with saw me browsing gunpla and kindly informed me when their next shipment of kits would arrive without me having to ask, which was considerate. Good selection of Tamiya brand paints, panel liners, etc. Should consider this a staple location if you're a Gundam builder.

Small selection of over prices gunpla. The gundam kits can be found at a more competitive price at other local hobby stores. Not the best selection of tools for building them either. However, there are many other hobbies you can shop for here including rc cars, legos, painting and more!

This place is the worst don’t try to order from the kid n the back cuz he’s pretty much just a favor with his job and he couldn’t tell me anything about my remote so we almost had blows but then someone said don’t hit the girl and I was able to escape

Cute little hobbie shop great for remote controlled cars, airplanes and boats as well as model cars and planes and of corse model train stuff too.

Nice place can be a bit annoying dealing with the rc guys though kinda seems like they have a know it all sort of mentality gets old real quick

No sure where they hire these clowns in the RC department. They are Rude everytime no matter what. They always make you feel rushed and treat you like you don't know anything about your hobby. If I want your opinion I'll ask for it. Don't tell me what I need. IM the customer. I'll tell you what I want and you give it to me. It's really simple. If I want to buy an airplane prop for an RC car then sell it to me. It's really none of your business what I put the parts on. Your job is to sell the customer what he wants.
