The manager was amazing. We are on vacation and needed a fuse changed in my car. He helped locate the fuse box, changed the fuse and sent us on our way. I have never been to a car repair shop that was so friendly. Thank you from Utah

I am a 70year old single woman. Holdens came highly recommended but they lied to me and left me stranded!

I took my car in for a second opinion. Two places told me I needed new head gasket and battery. Holdens told me I needed new radiator, and ASSURED me several times my head gasket was ok. I spent $2300 on new radiator and battery. (forced to take out a loan). And guess what, it Still doesnt work. It turns it DOES NEED A NEW HEAD GASKET! Another $1700 which I dont have.so now I'm out $2300 and still have a car that doesnt work!

I trusted them and was totally taken advantage of!
The closest bus stop is over 2miles from my house
I cant even get to grocery store or Dr. Appointments.
They have left me stranded.with a bill every month for a car that doesnt work.shame on them.

We came to Holden’s first thing in the morning because our car was breaking down on a road trip and we limped into town the night before. He was booked out and very busy but the owner still spent 30 minutes looking at our car and diagnosing it for us. Would definitely recommend using them, seemed like honest great guys.

Wither you are local or are traveling and in need of a repair I highly recommend making the call to Holden's. Scott and the rest of the team were amazing. While moving from Oregon to Texas I had a bonehead moment and contaminated my diesel fuel system with DEF. They were able to get me in that day and began the assessing the damage. They drained and dropped the tank, ordered filters, flushed the fuel line and had me back on the road by noon the next day. I would highly recommend Holden's.

I've lived in Kingman my entire life - and in Kingman there is no shortage of car repair shops; though I must admit Holdens has always caught my eye driving down Airway at all hours of the day. As the son of many mechanics and handymen, I was always weary of car repair shops - but a recent change in perspective has caused me to reconsider. After my truck started to exhibit a misfire and I was unable to diagnose or repair the problem, I presented to Holden's - who were able to determine the issue and have my car back to me within two business days. Scott was a pleasure to talk to and kept me updated every step of the way including a quote after the diagnosis and an updated timeline. On the whole, Holdens Auto Service is no muss, no fuss mechanic shop - and I appreciated that.

They've also got a cute ginger bear that works the phones - so if you want some eye candy there's also that. 11/10 would recommend Holdens Auto Service!

I was most impressed initially with the customer service of Scott when I called first thing in the morning about an issue with my car. He urged me to come in immediately and was very kind about it. Once there, he continued to deliver quality customer service in his greeting, explanation of what to expect through the process, and even the expected cost (assuming no unforeseen issues). He next offered to give me a ride to work, without me even asking.

Dale, the driver, was friendly, engaging, and also professional as he drove me to work. He was personable and made it a point to ensure I was comfortable and at ease.

When I called to follow up on the progress of the vehicle, Scott and Ted provided proactive communication in the status of parts needed and the repair. Ted also was amazing throughout this process. He did not hesitate to answer any questions I had and his knowledge of my vehicle and status was seamless and in sync with what Scott shared with me.

Finally, the lobby is different from when I got repairs there last. They have updated the lobby, including a fridge full of courtesy water and an open space to comfortable wait to be helped.

Overall the cost of repair matched the expected and articulated estimated cost, the customer service was impeccable, the environment was friendly and easy, and professionalism was unmatched. I am thankful to Scott, Ted, and Dale for the experience they provided to me.

We were heading to Texas and our truck broke down. We towed it here on a Sunday, check in to a hotel and they checked it for us once they opened the next day, and was back on the road before noon.

I was on a road trip when my van broke down. They were able to squeeze me in despite having a full load of customers. Very professional. Very satisfied!

Transmission went out in my car, they said it could take a week or two to get the part and things fixed, but said they would try their best for sooner after seeing how stressed I was. Got my car back within just a few days! Appreciate them so much.

Alternator went out in my truck on I40 and I barely made it to Kingman. Called Holden’s the next morning, talked to Scott, and he told me to come on down. Got there a little before 9am and they had that bad boy fixed by 10: 30. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road fast and at a fair price. Highly recommend.

This place and the people are amazing! Ben and Scott are really sweet and kind! They helped me out of a really bad situation. Got stuck on the I-40 on my way to camp at Grand Canyon. My brakes weren’t working…I called to ask if they could help me out and luckily enough they were able to see me first thing in the morning. They were very efficient and helpful. Really outstanding service and people. If you are ever in a bad situation while driving through Arizona, I highly recommend this place! They will make your bad day better!

I experienced a major sudden noise on the freeway. These Gentlemen took time out of their scheduled appointments to look at my car. They discovered 2 bolts fell out and promptly replaced them for me. What excellent service. Thank you very much Gentlemen.

My mom has had issues with her car since getting it back from a POS shop we won't mention and Holdens has been so professional, and caring. They helped my mom with a loaner car since she was on foot and they had her car for a couple weeks due to the part delayed. They treated her so nice and actually showed they cared.thank you Holdebs. Especially Ben! Your entire crew has been fantastic. We would recommend you to anyone.
