Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix-Mesa/Chandler, an IHG Hotel

I have zero complaints with this hotel. They were incredibly friendly and our room was very nice. The amenities were better than most hotels I've stayed in. We had access to a fitness room, pool, full service bar, and restaurant.

We stayed here for a NYE party on 12/31/2022 & we will never stay here again! The heavy set Caucasian male that was at the front desk was very rude after we asked for them to correct our room that we had paid for. They placed us in a double bed room and we asked to be placed in the disabled king bed room that we paid for.

We are both military veterans and the treatment that we received that night was awful, unsatisfactory, and just rude! He told us that we couldn't switch the room if we touched anything because they are short staffed with workers for the weekend (which is never the customers problem) Don't host and event on a major holiday weekend if you don't have the staff to cover cleaning.

So we were just going to say "okay" and walk away, but he got an attitude with my husband immediately after we walked away, So we politely turned around and said "then give us the difference in money for the cost and we'll keep the room". No response, so they changed the room after that incident.

The bathroom has no fan, so when showering it was very slippery & wet all over the floor. The elevators were very dirty, but hey they didn't have staff and the carpet in the rooms was nasty and looks like it needs to be updated. It's an older hotel and I guess that's what you get, but we will not be returning again.

The bathrooms had sliding doors with frosted glass… you can see the persons image in the bathroom and the barn doors didn’t even close all the way. Nothing to make your bathroom visit private. Old, outdated and not a pleasant experience. The restaurants food was horrible and overcooked… yuck! Does NOT meet the quality we expect from Holiday Inns in other places. Will definitely NOT be back!

Good place to stay when out of town people are friendly and rooms were stocked and very clean super important to me

Great experience! The rooms are clean. The staff is super friendly and it is convenient located right next to lots of food locations that are walking distance and old town and fun spot that were just behind us.

Top notch service and accommodations, and excellent location to stay for visiting my family. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

We arrived late at night and the clerk didn't give us breakfast tickets. So we had to pay extra for that. The bathroom doors do not lock in the room (I'm a mom so this is important to me) and the doors are this weird kind of see through thing. I know, I have issues. But the room was clean and supplies were there. Located near easy access to the freeway. And close to a water park if that is your destination.

Erica at the front desk was so curious and professional. Seem to make the day brighter every time I walked in our out of the door I was greatest very pleasantly. Great pool area and jacuzzi. Beds were great! Very comfy and great pillows.

All was great with hotel. Cash was awesome at check in and out. Great customer service. Busy location at times but still was happy to stay here.

There were ants in our room so we were transferred to another room. It's just weird to have ants in a hotel room. The place looks like it could use some renovations.

I can't rate any rooms at this time as I went to visit. Never booked a room but the entrance and bar area is very open and well laid out, good atmosphere all around. Plenty of seats and the bartender was very helpful and humorous.

Was there for an event, didn't book a room. However, the customer service was impeccable from beginning to end. Hotel was clean, pool was just right, and the conference room for the party was perfect.

The gal that work front doesn't know they have meeting rooms and treats you like an idiot for arguing they must have them because you paid for them. Everything else is gold.

Pleasant experience. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel needs some updates but in general is a good place to spend the night. It is close to shopping and restaurants.

Super comfortable bed and cozy room. However, the walls are paper thin and I could hear guests in other rooms throwing things and I could also hear guests coming and going while we were sleeping at all hours of the morning. Room service tried to clean the room while we were sleeping, but did not clean our room the day before. They have the most beautiful pool here, but they kick you out promptly at 10 pm regardless of the noise level or your respectfulness towards other guests. Overall, I am not impressed and I will not be returning.

Very bad, horrible customer service from top to bottom. Advice active duty military to look somewhere else

Very rude staff and poor customer service. If you use a third party travel agency for work do not come to this hotel. They will only trick you into signing the form that they should be faxing to the third party company. This was coming from the supervisor. They will tell you to deal with it instead of them dealing with it.

The staff is very nice and helpful. Overall a very nice experience and a good place to stay.

The room was very nice and check in was easy, however at check in we were given the breakfast times and there was no mention of additional charges. It was a very small buffet style that is typical for a hotel, after you get your food a guy comes around and gives you a bill. They charge 14.99, not even close to worth the money. Very sneaky way of getting extra money. If not for this practice I would rank 5 stars.
