I selected Holtzman out of a large group of local companies as they seemed to have the best understanding and appreciation of what I wanted done, and were within price expectations. Rob Hardee was my Project Manager and my go to person.

The scope of work was as follows. The previous owner of my house enclosed the patio into an additional room but made some decisions that made is susceptible to water. The room flooded during the massive rain back in 2014. Since then we were keeping it clean but unused until we could afford to repair.

When it came time to repair we knew we wanted two things, raise the floor to the same height as the rest of the house, and remove concrete on the side of the house that was higher than the room. Most companies wither wanted to repair in place and not raise the room or do a full demo of everything. Rob Hardee was open to some alternatives recommended by friends of mine in the industry, he carefully considered the the options and we went with what I felt was the best option.

We did not overrun budget with the exception of a small amount on tile as the cost of tile we picked was higher than the estimate. With the refinancing boom we came to the table expecting that many construction companies were going to be stretched thin, but Rob was responsive to questions and communicative throughout the whole process so we were not concerned.

Absolutely will use HHI again when I have more remodeling to do.

"Remodels are always late and over-budget. " I am sure you have heard that before. That summarizes our experience. We remodeled our floors, kitchen and bathroom. They were not cheap, end product was good but way over-budget, late and full of surprises. We made our selections and signed our lives away in March 2019, the project was completed in October 2019. We decided to finance the project, the sales rep indicated we would not need to provide a downpayment so we signed our lives away. A few months later the owner contacted us and indicated we needed to pay a 30% downpayment so that they could place the order. 30%!

If they actually worked every business day this project would have taken 1 month.

Would I hire them again? NO
Would I go through a remodel again? NO

We've used and referred Holtzman Home Improvement out to several clients and they've always done an amazing job. They are prompt and responsive, which is hard to find in a contractor. They do outstanding work and stand by it. Everyone of our clients that we've introduced them to hasn't been disappointed. I had Holtzman help us with our bathroom awhile ago and left a review. They just finished the kitchen and I can’t help but write another great review for this company! With how great the bathroom turned out we decided to use Holtzman to help us tackle the bigger project of our kitchen. They were extremely helpful throughout the whole project.
At the start of the project they showed us 3D renderings of what the project would like once completed. It was a one-stop shop and I was able to pick our flooring, countertops, cabinets, paint, new windows, hardware, and sink all in house. It was so nice to have the same people help me every step of the way. They have people in house that specialize in just one area and a designer that stays with you throughout the whole remodel to make sure everything stays on track.
I am beyond satisfied with how the final project looks, Better Home and Gardens doesn’t have anything on my new kitchen! I cannot wait to start entertaining in my new and improved kitchen. Thank you again Holtzman for the amazing craftmanship and work you provide!

We hired Holtzman to renovate the entire exterior of our home. We changed our stucco from textured to smooth, renovated two exterior balconies, added a metal/cable railing on each balcony, new front door, new garage door, demo’d old concrete and replaced with it pavers, replaced a side gate with a metal one, repaired wooden fascia along the trim, and painted. All of this was completed before the 6 week timeline they gave us. Rob was our contractor and did an awesome job at keeping us informed with what was happening and when. All of the people that came to work on our house were outstanding and professional. The exterior of our house now looks like a brand new build! We were so impressed with their work, we already hired them to renovate our master bathroom next. I highly recommend them to other people and plan to continue to use them for future projects.

If you want a project done to perfection hire Holtzman. They took a bit longer than expected but the final results was beyond our expectations. It was definitely worth the extra wait and will look to hire again when our next project comes up.

We hired Holtzman Home Improvements to do a variety of work, including installing and constructing a redwood patio structure with fiberglass roofing. The quote was comparable and all workers were friendly, well-organized and extremely efficient in my opinion. Holtzman made sure that the work met our expectations before finishing the project.

After doing some work in their showroom I was asked to build some custom cabinets for HHI. Upon delivery they refused to pay me for the cabinets they ordered. Then refused any emails I sent and removed all reviews I posted online. Their 5 star rating is ridiculous as far as I am concerned.
