I would like to share some photos that I took of my home.thank you to the staff you are so very patient and loving. Words cannot express the feeling that I have when I was placed in your hands to be put in a safer place in the place I can grow and learn and believe in myself once again. Thank you

Wow they actually took down my review? That's very disappointing especially when you're are telling the truth about something or different things to help other people and they go to the extent to have Google remove your review that could potentially safe someone's life? That's very disheartening and yes the one star reviews are are right on the money about the bad experiences and more I would express write my experiences with this company but it probably won't stay posted for very long. I would love to speak to the person who owns this non-profit organization and share my horrible experiences with this company but more than likely it won't happen it's sad if this post is still up for people to review and read take it from me it's all true the one star reviews have a great day

As a property manager I have to disagree with most of these negative reviews. I have been working with the Hominc staff for 8 years, I have never meet one that didn't truly care about their clients. They go above and beyond to help get people housed. A lot of the tenants expect the case manager to do all the work. At some point the client has to be held accountable too.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you guys so much, but there are some things the company can work on.

Communication - Please get back to your clients. Especially if they are in the move in- move out process. Not responding can result in clients losing their opportunity of the desired unit and delaying paperwork that needs to be done.

Customer service and respect - Please don't attack clients if they are persistent. We are only trying to make sure that we are following procedures and want to keep communication so that things get done in a timely manner. This is no way a form of harassment. Voice-mail states that all employees will respond to clients within 24 hours. That almost never happens. So attacking clients and threatening their vouchers is unfair.

Once again, I appreciate what you guys are doing to help people. You guys are amazing. Thank you.

I have to move by 1/31/23 and trying to get a list of apts, its impossible and the case mgr doesn't care to answer their phone and they don't return phone calls. I have called 5 times and missed the one time they called. They don't help you but they want you to live by their rules. I'm so mad right now. This is how people become homeless. We get no help. I am so stressed.

If I could give them zero Stars I would give them zero Stars. I was put on the list for a homeless housing voucher in the year 2019 in the month of July. Since then, my case manager, Misty Anderson, has never spoken to me on the phone only replies hostility to my emails. I did an online lottery application for housing voucher with them in July 2019 I was told I was approved for a voucher and that I was number 427 on the list to get my voucher. It's now December 21th 2022 nobody from hom inc has contacted me in over 2 years and they will not answer any emails from me. They profess to help the homeless. Why has it been so long since I was approved for a housing voucher and I'm still homeless?

You cannot just call this organization to receive help with housing they only gather there clientele through referrals only

Brittany (UMOM), Dianne, and Jocelyn are literal Angels walking earth. We would not have made it this far if we didn't have such a good stroke of luck meeting them. Ladies, thank you so much.

I am rating 4 stars because the first housing specialist I had her name was Monique she never returned my calls at all and didn't show any signs of excitement or thrill for her clients having a place and I feel sorry for anyone that still has her as a housing specialist because she doesn't care at all I think she needs to be terminated and replaced with someone that cares

Now the specialist that I have now ms Melony McDaniels she is awesome at returning my calls and emails about questions I have about my voucher and she's prompt about it too she doesn't leave me hanging for days and days (unless it's a weekend of course)

I had to to my annual back in May and I kinda freaked out verbally on her and I apologized and said I have disabilities that make me do that unintentionally she was very understanding and didn't make me feel bad for having a disability she was very nice and made me feel comfortable to ask her any questions I had and told me to call her if I had any after that and I did twice so far and she answered them to where I could understand what was being explained to me so I didn't get confused

Thank you Melony McDaniels you rock

If I could give them ZERO STARS I WOULD! This review is for ALL LANDLORDS!

****DO NOT, I REPEAT**** DO NOT WORK THIS ORGANIZATION! ****They are beyond AWFUL and WILL Screw you over!

They do nothing to penalize or pull back vouchers from destructive, dangerous clients and they WILL leave you to deal with the damages ($7,000+) and messes created while NOT paying you for their client that is still refusing to leave- I now have to go through another eviction process for this individual.

They never answer their phones when you need help or assistance, and if you are lucky to get them on the phone they become extremely combative and argumentative then ultimately HANG UP ON YOU!

Pitiful Organization, ZERO Professionalism and definitely not defenders of the good guys.

I've been waiting for voucher for over 4 years now. I started at 499 on the list and 274 on list 7/26/2019 and I believe I was down to 155 on list 3 or 4 months ago. Now I call and leave message after message after message and haven't got a call back for a long time now! Not sure what's going on but I do know that trying to live off $800 a month is very, very, very hard to do. I've been very blessed I had my oldest sister Shanan and her husband Ben helping me out. Untill now because she was let go from her job! Now she can't help me any longer. I'm hoping I receive good service when my number does come up. (Which should be real soon now) I can't really say much more cause I have really got much more than a letter a year ago and maybe a. Email. I know I've call and left messages many times and no call back still as of yet. I remain patient with all the covid stuff going on now and understanding. Hopefully it won't have to wait much longer. I would love to be able to give a outstanding rating for Hominc.ive heard more good than bad so hopefully y'all are getting better with your service ty and GOD BLESS us ALL!

I had a tenant from Hom Inc. She caused a lot of damages that I had to spend 8,500 the sec.deposit was $2,005 and HOM INC paid me claim damages of $975 total $2,980 I have lost $5,520. HOM INC placed a family in my house that had no sense of responsibility destroyed my house breaking the garage door, sensors, broke the refrigerator, kitchen, bathroom walls, garage walls, doors, windows, left large decomposed garbage, walls paint of the whole house was ruined, I had to paint the whole house and change doors. I Spend a lot ($8,500) on repairs, paint cleaning and disposing of garbage. Sad and unfortunate experience. 2 month ago I asked by email to Hom Inc to be solidarity with the damage that exceeds the deposit and the damage loss and I still have not received any response.

I have been a client of hominc for over 3 years And in that time every single person at that agency has been the very definition of both kindness and professionalism I have repeatedly watched people from homing from homing go well out of their way to help others who are struggling, They do what they do without judgment or any sense of superiority that's a rare thing in this world I think this world would be a far better place to live in if there were more people like the people at HOM, INC

HOM INC.helped got me into the apartments I'm in now, 3 yrs ago about. I spent previous 2 yrs struggling to work while my stuff sat in storage and I camped in a local park in Tempe each night.
I KNOW they are doing their best.but their are few NICE or decent apartments that still take Hom Inc.vouchers. My complex got bought out by a GREEDY CA company and they are not letting any one renew with vouchers!

I'm disabled, and only have $800 to live on and will be homeless again, come Jan.an Hom inc.is not helping me an won't return my calls.

My mother is 68 years old mentally handicapped and about to be homeless because of lack of care and help from hom inc.

Her lease is up tomorrow and for 3 months she had been trying to call hom inc for help for a place to relocate.

This program is not right at alll.

68 years old. Has had a voucher for 3 years and you guys won't even give her a call back to help.

This is so sad.
