Home2 Suites by Hilton Phoenix Airport South

I sat in my car at this hotel, clicked on this hotel right next to the Location icon on my map, and somehow maps reserved for me another hotel, unbeknownst to me. Because of this, the next day I had to add two more days to this reservation and their price was much higher than the hotel that maps mistakenly reserved for me. Home2Suites discounted me even though they were in no way responsible for the mishap. This review is NOT TO CONVINCE YOU THAT YOU CAN GET A DISCOUNT IF YOU MAKE UP A SOB STORY, my story was real - it's just to compliment Home2Suites and their mgmt on their commitment to Good Faith - most companies these days have hundreds of staff committed to getting money from you and one reindeer not committed to getting money back to you.

Had a few room issues but very clean and would recommend but take your valuables out your car as I saw vagrants wondering through the parking lot

I stayed at Home2 Suites PHX Airport South for the month of Nov 2023 due to having water damage at my Tempe home. My insurance company chose this as it was close to my home and also offered cooking opportunities. When I first saw my room, I was impressed- clean, and welcoming.
I was most impressed by the Hilton staff- welcoming, kind, helpful. Being there a month, I felt as if I was family with the staff- especially Monique, Nicole, Lucy and Jim. During the time I was there, I had to euthanize my cat, and the staff and cleaning ladies were so caring and understanding.
Cleaning: Needed to request when I desired cleaning. This worked well for me.
Sheets were so very soft and comfortable! Impressed with "cleanliness" of toiletries offered in the showers.
This would be a place I would go to again, if needed. I rate 5 out of 5 stars!

Clean and well maintained hotel with spacious rooms, comfy beds, and hot showers. Friendly Staff and great fitness area. Breakfast options were numerous and well prepared. Airport shuttle service as well. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Change out pillows, computer chair is badly stained, carpet in the room has a bad curry stain, hallways are filthy, breakfast is absolutely horrible (bring in some non-pork related items). I am not bashing you by any means but please fix these problem so it feels like this an actual place for people to stay.

This could be a great hotel. It has all the amenties and comfortable beds.

Really nice place with great rooms. The only downside was the pool. The key fob lock doesn’t work. And there is only one chaise lounge chair. Towels available upon request.

This place was very roomy, clean, and the staff was very friendly and we loved it. The location was a bit of concern. It seemed to be in a bad area of town. We drove around the building and saw vagrants sleeping in the back. Its a shame cause inside was awesome.

Upon arrival the lady at the he front was rude as hell, she had an attitude like she did not want to be there, and we were bothering her. I didn't get her name. I just know she was an African American lady. But the rest of the employees had way better attitudes throughout our visit, but because first impressions matter about, I have to give the service two stars.

Overall the rooms here are nice. If you're just sleeping here, its great. If you are a person who likes amenities and things to do nearby I would not recommend this hotel. The laundry room is in the gym so its 90 degrees in there and the pool is not stocked with towels. In addition the breakfast is very very limited. Breakfast sandwiches, bread, bagel, oatmeal. After all it is free, but very limited. The rooms are clean and updated. Lots of space in the room for families. Overall I would prefer better amenities and breakfast, but great place to sleep.

They didn't have breakfast items replenished at 8 am in the morning. Very disappointing service. Very noisy on the first floor since everyone is walking thru on their phone, and being loud couldn't sleep well since it was late at night and early in the morning.

Nice clean room but I am giving only 4 stars for this Home2 instead of 5 because of the parking situation. The hotel needs to put up signage that clearly marks the parking slots in front of the hotel entrance are for hotel guests. Around 11am to 1pm the Chipotle customers overwhelm their parking spots and start taking up the convenient spots in front of the hotel thereby forcing hotel guests to park further back on the sides.

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Loved the rooms. They were spacious, clean and it meet our needs.

Overall this is a great hotel with amazing service and clean rooms. It has everything you need. The only concern was the apparent drug activities happening outside the hotel but I feel like there is not much they can do about it.

My wife and I stayed here a few weeks ago, and we reserved a room through a 3rd party site, and the reservation was not there at the hotel when we arrived. Vivian was so awesome x100 to help us through the challenge. She was willing to call this 3rd party a couple of times and work through their maze of challenges to get the reservation to come through. She made it amazing. The room was great.but they need to put vivian in charge of the breakfast, that set up the next morning was just above horrible. But Vivian was so great, I still give them a 5*

Nice and quiet location near the airport was perfect for our overnight stay before an early flight. We utilized the free airport shuttle at 4 am and had no issues at all

Incredible amount of homeless loitering in parking lot at night. This neighborhood feels very sketchy. Rooms are clean and the digital key works well.
