It’s been about 5 months since my LASIK surgery and I am seeing better than I ever thought I’d see! Previously I was wearing glasses since the 4th grade, I had a pretty significant astigmatism. I tried contacts but never really got use to them and my eyes would get dry from wearing them. I regret not doing the surgery sooner! Dr. Duncan did a phenomenal job! He did very well explaining the surgery and the rest of the LASIK team kept me calm during the whole procedure, which took about 10-15 mins. Shout out to Lauren, Kari, and Steven! Everyone at Horizon was so helpful through the whole experience from the surgery coordinators, technicians and the rest of the amazing doctors that saw me for my post op exams like Dr. Cook, Dr. Dee, and Dr. Tran. I highly recommend Horizon Eye Specialist, so look no further and give them a call to schedule your consultation!

Dr. Duncan, DO After I waited 2 hours, the doctor came in for two minutes
and said that my eyes are 20/20. My eye have never been 20/20. I said everything is blurry. He put two magnifying glasses in front of me and I could then see the writing. That is not 20/20. I've always needed glasses to drive, read, etc. NOT RECOMMENDING this doctor.

Just had LASIK done by Dr. Duncan he was awesome from the initial consultation, and throughout the whole process! Would definitely recommend him to anyone! He made me feel super comfortable and talked me through the procedure step by step. Definitely an awesome experience!

Had two different consultations to get LASIK here. Get to the procedure and the doctor (McCulloch) literally messed up 4 times and told me I wan not eligible for LASIK during the procedure. My eye is bloodshot read and burns and I’m stuck here with pain for who knows how long. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

UPDATE: Saw a few different eye doctors and not ONE said his logic of the surgery not working makes sense. I will be getting lasik again with a new doctor soon.

Very nice Dr's and staff. They usually are on time and even at times take you back before. Scheduled appointment.

I am a 71 year-old male who needed cataract surgery. After looking at the options, I chose to also have the lens replacement surgery so I could see like a 20 year-old again. Everyone, including Dr. Duncan, at Horizon were helpful and informed me of the procedures as we progressed so there were no surprises. Now I can see like a 20 year-old again! If only they could do this for the rest of me!

Really like Dr. Duncan, and I'm very pleased with the results of my lasik procedure. Would highly recommend this group to anyone considering lasik. Dr. Duncan is fellowship trained in cornea and refractive surgery. This was very important to me.

Why don't I see any reviews or history of any of the doctors at Horizon?
I am the kind of patient that prefers to know a bit of history of the doctor I am about to see, and by the way, I was given no other options. I was asking for Dr. J. Levin but he does surgery only! I was told.

Really friendly staff. Lots of staff members that made it go quick. The procedure itself is not very comfortable, but they do their best to make it as comfortable as possible.

I recently saw Dr. Angela Kovacik for a complete eye exam and an evaluation of my left eye cataract. I found Dr. Kovacik to be very friendly and professional and she answered all of my many questions regarding cataract surgery! I definitely feel very comfortable having Dr. Kovacik perform my surgery in the near future. I highly recommend Dr. Angela Kovacik to become your eye specialist for anything from your annual eye exam, new glasses or contacts to eye surgery!

Dr Cook was outstanding. He was patient and answered many questions about my eye surgery. There are many assistants helping, but there is often a wait.

Dr Angela Kovacik is by far the best eye specialist I have ever had! I have a concern with my eyes that began several years ago and I must be closely monitored. I visit Dr Kovacik for eye exams every 6 months. She takes very good care of my eyes along with any related concerns that may be linked to my physical health! She has a wonderful and very sweet personality that is genuinely kind and caring!

Dr. J. Duncan provided professional service. I greatly appreciated his knowledge and patience answering my questions and addressing my concerns pre- and post-op my cataract surgeries. "I can see clearly now. "

Horizon Eye Specialists and LASIK Center was the perfect fit for me. All of my eye care needs were addressed by Dr. Jonathan Levin, MD, Dr. Kaci Kramer Oldroyd, OD, and their professional team. I went from yearly eye care visits with Dr. Kramer to needing cataract surgery with Dr. Levin. Every step of my care was done by kind thoughtful quality experienced doctors & staff. I feel as if I am part of a caring family.

I've been to Horizon Eye Specialist for a variety of issues related to my eyes. I see Dr. Angela Kovacik and have to say that it's rare in this day in age to find a doctor who gives so much thoughtful attention to my concerns. She's highly competent, pleasant, considerate, and pays attention to detail. I feel confident recommending Dr. Kovacik to anyone needing an ophthalmologist.

Dr Levin has now performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, the left having been done on February 5. What can I say beyond the results are perfect! I am no longer restricted on my driver's license and my vision is far better than it has been since I was in my 20s. Aside from his expertise Dr Levin has a very pleasant demeanor and a wonderful "bedside manner. " I heartily recommend him to anyone seeking vision care.
