Love this place. I was down there on business 8 years ago and stopped in. Now if I'm within 50 miles I'll go out of my way to have lunch there. Keep up the great work, Keith in Phoenix.

This restaurant is absolutely the best there is the food is beyond excellent and the waitresses are so nice and polite every time I'm I. Benson I will stop there

A staple of Benson, the Horseshoe Cafe has a great selection of meals. If you are a breakfast person, you will have many options!

I have yet to have a meal served here that was not cooked perfectly.

Staff is friendly and attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu offerings, and great should you wish any substitutions which deviate from the norm.

Stopped for dinner as we are traveling back to Illinois. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was the best I have ever had. I also had their soup. The margaritas are really good. Even though I was stuffed, I helped my husband eat a piece of turtle pecan pie. Delicious! Staff was friendly. Would definitely go back if we are in Benson again.

Horrible establishment, tried calling in an order to get hung up on, then walked in to get an order for takeout, got cold food after poor estimates of when food would be ready, then missing half the order, called in to figure out why the food was cold and missing half the order only to get told by the hostess she "couldn't handle this right now and no manager on staff" then hung up on.again! Seriously? That's the best you got? And no they were not that busy by restaurant standards.

This is why a company shouldn't hire children to be the front of a company. Poor management hiring improperly trained hostess & no manager on site to address issues? Bad food and missing half an order is a no go in any establishment. Best bet is find another establishment if in the area. Most waiting in line this morning quoted as such "should have went elsewhere" will never go here again for any meal. As a business owner if I could score this less I would. No excuse, do not waste your time or money on this establishment.

Love the Friday night fish special! A Friday evening drive to Benson is becoming our routine! It does get busy once the snowbirds are here.

Stopped here on our way home in October 2021 to grab a bite. The food was pretty good. Service was good and waitress very friendly. I prefer zucchini fries or wedges rather than medallions but the fried chicken in our wrap and sandwich was chicken breast and very moist. Wish we would’ve had room to try their pies but we were so full! Would definitely try the pie next time!

Great place, my husband and I ordered the prime rib they cooked it perfect he got well done and I got medium. We also ordered the soup the roast beef stew soup it was really good best I've ever tasted we will return, and the service was great.

Every time I go through Benson I stop there for the homemade pie it's just outstanding. The waitresses are very professional and you get great service there

The food was fantastic and the service was even better. It is a must stop and eat there if you are anywhere near the place.

I think it’s lost something. Waited longer than we should have for attention, then soup took longer too. (Was delicious soup). Dinner was served right away- too soon. So timing was not good. Food was good but not hot, so flavor was fine but just not hot. Staff acted like they had all the time for n the world to serve us.

I go into this restaurant from time to time; but always am treated to a wonderful experience. The waitresses are very kind & personable. The food is always cooked to order and the right temperature.

Plenty of parking to include disabled parking.

It was a Hometown Cafe with great food excellent desserts and the servers were wonderful we definitely wish there were more of them around us but we definitely will be back
