If I could I would give zero stars. The staff treated us like nuisances from the moment we walked into the place. We paid for our room, not to be harassed by staff, guards, and the bartenders. Discriminatory and hostile demeanors by every person we came in contact with. The rooms were not good too, ugly, outdated, smelled bad. Go somewhere else and save your money.

The hotel is beautiful both inside and outside in their huge courtyard/patio. Outside there is a fairly large stage where there has been so much good, live music recently!

First time here, after we walked a friend to the Amtrak train station. It had a very friendly vibe as soon as we stepped though the doors. We didn't order any mixed drinks just beer on Tap, but the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

The bloody Mary bar at Congress is fantastic! There are so many options, and the bartenders are super efficient.

The room was simple, fixtures and features from the early 20th century. Staff was friendly. I would come back for sure.

Love the hotel, incredible staff. Really Incredible. So why 3 stars? !? ! Simple: air conditioner would only get the room to about 80 degrees at night. Not fun! If they can get the A/C working well every time and sound proof the rooms a bit more from the street noise, I would give 5 stars. Cool, kitschy hotel. I will try again when I'm in town and it's during the cooler season.

My family and friends recently had brunch at Hotel Congress. The food was fantastic, as was the service. We will definitely be going back.

We recently went to HoCo Fest for an evening of fun. The only minor hitch we had was what door to enter from. That being said, the staff was very friendly for directing us to the correct location. The event itself was laid out well. There was plenty of room for sitter ng or standing in both the outside and inside venues. Great line up for music and comedy! We left that evening so very glad we attended and will attend more events at Hotel Congress in the future!

Another 'Life List' item crossed off. For a double birthday celebration, we decided to book a night at the Hotel Congress. For me, it had been on my list to stay at because a) it is historic, and I love old hotels and b) it is reportedly haunted.

I booked the rooms online, got a pretty decent rate given there was some sort of music festival going on called HOCO. Parking was easy, given they have an underground lot you use across the street (which was free with the hotel providing validated ticket). We checked in around 4, while simultaneously getting cocktails at the bar. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. I asked for room 242 - but alas it was taken. She said because they had put us in a garden room (because it was quiet) which was actually BS since our room 208 was on the same side of the hotel and we were right over the big patio where the band was playing until the wee hours (but not a biggie though).

The whole vibe of this place is awesome, they have done a nice job of keeping it authentic. You walk up the stairs to the rooms - so be prepared to drag your luggage up there. The rooms are old, but clean and quaint with a cute little array of local items you can purchase (snacks, drinks and "kits"). This is totally old school, and makes you feel as though you have gone back in time. We absolutely loved our overnight stay, regardless of the music from this HOCO going on in the patio. My niece and her girlfriend were across the hall in 207 - full room, which was a more quiet room but smaller than ours which was a twin.

Loved that we had guaranteed reservations in Cup Cafe the next morning for breakfast. Thanks for the fun Hotel Congress.

Hotel Congress is a great historical fixture in Tucson. The rooms are small but full of personality. If you're interested in more than just a place to sleep it's a great choice.

Honestly the place was really cool and the food looked delicious from looking what others got. It was super busy when we got there but our 45 minute wait time was only cut to about 15 since it was a apart of 2.so that was nice. No complaints about food or service but the reason I only gave it 4 stars was because the place is cramped.you will be a foot apart from the people next to you. You wont be having a normal conversation without hearing everyone elses.

Great place to have drinks! Perfect for Sunday Funday. I got married here a few years back so it's always a good time. Highly recommend!

There was 4 of us last night. We went down town for the second Saturday of the month shin dig. We went to several bars. Hotel congress had a band playing there called Joy Wave. They were sold out when we got there but you could here it in the next room. Nice air conditioning. It was warm out. We had drinks. Stayed inside a while then sat on the patio out back by the street. Large patio area. Would be nice if they had some sort of cooling out there. Fans or a misting system. Over all it was nice. Have never stayed in one of the rooms there, but I would like to sometime. Oh and I heard part of the hotel is haunted. Booo [

Attended Hotel Congress to see the band Joywave. The concert venue was great and the sound was fantastic. Had drinks at the bar before and Cameron our bartender gave great service.

Rooms are a great throwback to the past. Clean, great Libby service. Hotel Congress is THE hub for everything going on in downtown Tucson. Can't wait to go back.

Hotel Congress is iconic in Tucson! There's a little for everyone here. The Cup Cafe is has fantastic food for dinner and brunch. There are three bars to get drinks for the large patio or indoor tables. Club congress has a fun dance floor.

The location is ideal for anyone who intends on hitting the local hot spots. The historical rooms were quant, with a wonderful view of the nightlife. Great for people watching. Service was good.
