Hotel Valley Ho, Scottsdale AZ

My visit to the spa was a great experience. Matt was my massage therapist and his experience was appreciated in a perfect massage. I wish I had more time to book again. My facial was also wonderful. The spa was clean and elegant. I would recommend highly!

These guys are liars! If you have an issue they don’t call you back and when you finally get ahold of someone (took me three weeks of emails and phone calls) they can’t give any proof of why we got overcharged on multiple outlets. Be aware there are more pool rules than you think and if you do one unknowingly, apologize for it, and offer to clean it up, they will tell you sorry they have to charge you $100 to clean it up and then your $100 charge somehow magically turns into a $300 charge-for confetti. Whatever you do, do not bring confetti! I would love for someone to show me where this rule exists and the $250 plus tax fee for clean-up! Please show me I’m wrong!

Very busy place. Had never been there before. Daughter took me to brunch. Food was good, Peter, out server was great! Website should change what the attire is for the restaurant. Felt over dressed when ppl were in shorts and tank tops. Other than that I liked it!

Spectacular in every way! Check in was easy, fast and friendly! Room was ready early and in tip top condition. The room is stylish and comfortable with great views of the pool and distant mountains. The pool is cool and fun to be around! Great drink and food service all day with a smile! The lobby and interior are a treat for the eyes with the retro mid century theme done beautifully! The gardens and grounds are well maintained with stunning examples of the different plants and trees of the region! This is a fantastic property to spend some at! Highly recommend!

The stay here was probably one of the best parts of our trip. The pool had a DJ Saturday and it was lit. The lounge was a nice vibe, great breakfast and drinks. The room was nice. Would highly recommend staying here.

I went for a spa day. It was fantastic. The spa is lovely. My massage was so good. I loved being able to just leisurely hang out and relax. We hung out at the pools afterwards. Just a sweet place to spend a day relaxing.

Staff was great and helpful! Our room was clean and we had a beautiful view. The restaurant (ZuZu) had great food and the OH Pool was nice as well. I love that they have a DJ Saturday & Sunday. I will definitely book a stay with them again.

I absolutely love the retro style! Spent the day in the pools. One with the DJ was something I've never before experienced. When the pool got so full we had trouble moving around we made our way over to the lap pool and kid went in wading pool. Service is top notch! We'll definitely be back.

I've been here a few times and most recent when I attended the rooftop yoga classes they had offered. Both instructors were highly talented and truly helped me feel each stretch and breath to every movement. Afterwards, a complimentary pass to the pool was awarded and flyers for a discount at the restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly, professional and pleasant. Great, fun and classy vibe throughout the whole hotel and one place to hang out with your friends. Highly recommend and it's in the heart of downtown Scottsdale. Looking forward to going again and again!

First time in Arizona period and I tell you there is no other place to stay while you there. If I ever travel that way again I will definitely stay at this hotel. Everyone from the hotel staff, valet, bar and pool attendants was AMAZING! LOVE THIS HOTEL

Hotel Valley Ho offers Zuzu as a restaurant that can be patronized by people other than guests at the hotel. There were reservations made for us (a party of 10) and we were only a few minutes late (less than 10 minutes). We were greeted by our server (Jon/Johnathan) who seemed rushed and preoccupied. The restaurant was slightly busy and there was a live band playing that made it a bit difficult to hear. We had to ask for straws and napkins several times before we recieved them. During the ordering process Jon made it seem as though he was bothered. He even responded by saying "What? " several times to simple questions asked by someone. We asked was there a type of bread service and Jon states that bread service stops at 10pm. Our reservations were for 9pm so we'd been there long enough before 10 to recieve bread and when we brought that up he says that they gave all the bread they had for today. Shortly after we recieved a basket of rolls. My Brussel sprouts were over seasoned and charred. Too burnt to enjoy. No one in my group seemed totally satisfied with the menu and their food options. Despite no one really liking their overpriced food, there were no complaints, reorders, or send backs because like earlier stated Jon seemed like he had an attitude. Once it came time to distribute the bill, he gave the whole table 1 check. He never asked if we needed it separated and when asked he states a bunch of rules mentioning the website has this information and something about how the hostess should have warned us. All in all everyone had to add up what they had individually and cashapp or give cash to one person which on a check so large was very confusing. Our check was over $400 that's including gratuity. Once the manager came Jon says we could split it in separate payments but by then the confusion and miscommunication had already happened. I wouldn't recommend this place solely on the menu selection. But horrible service is horrible service and if Jon has been waiting tables as long as he says he has, then maybe he needs to throw in the towel because it's not for him.

Beautiful hotel, the grounds were well maintained and clean. The staff at the front desk and at the valet were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous! The house keeping staff kept our room well stocked and clean.

Due to bad luck, we happened to be visiting during a weekend with LOTS of rain and were unable to utilize all of the amenities.

My biggest complaint about the hotel was the fact that despite the temperatures being lower (thanks to the rain), IT WAS HOT! The air conditioning did not work well even after maintenance came to “fix it. ” We were given a fan which helped but for the cost of the room, this shouldn’t be an issue. This is why it is 4 instead of 5 stars!

Our a/c did not work in our room. They sent someone to fix it and brought us a fan. It never cooled down. After we found a couple roaches, one ran across the bottom of the bed, we asked to switch rooms. They put us in a room that was exactly the same as the one before. It was much cooler, but never fully cooled off to our comfort level. We found no bugs. The pool was gross, I've never seen so much skin and hair in a public pool. We got in and got right back out. The place has a cool vibe, but wasn't quite what we had hoped for. They did give us a discount for the inconvenience. I would rate it a 2.5 star hotel vs the 4 it is supposed to be. Gave 3 for the discount.

I was stranded last weekend until I could get a tow. In the subsequent 4hrs. I was there, at least a dozen employees (not just security, but house keeping etc.) offered me help and came to check on me. Thank you

The Hotel was everything I could have hoped for. We stayed for my friends bachelor party and rented a Cabana for the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and saw to our every need. I loved the mid century modern style through out the hotel and the rooms were better than expected.

Is awesome atmosphere is grades I mean if you want to spend money and have a good time and a great place great locale. The Valley ho is the place to go vintage Valley of the Sun with an updated twist the bathrooms are awesome it's like having your own personal sauna and wait till you see the bathtub! If I could give 10 out of 10 I would. Definitely a gem of the Valley of the Sun!

I cannot speak to the rooms or hotel staff, i only ate at the restaurant. To that point believe me when i say that the restaurant itself is bougie over priced garbage. The food served to our group was poorly cooked and came out luke warm. And we averaged $35 a plate for Denny's quality food. Absolutely wave off and order out if you are staying at the hotel.
Honestly every one of us was disappointed with our meals.
