7Great rates! Friendly customer service team. The ones at the front counter (Kim, Patrice and Derek) are welcoming, make me feel like they care about me. I'm so glad Tucson has Hughes.
They didn't notify me when my car insurance provider allegedly "didn't notify them" of my policy renewal. They didn't contact me, and began charging their own insurance rates per the loan agreement. When I contacted them, proving I had no lapse in coverage, they refunded the cost of the added insurance, but not the interest it had accrued. Outright theives, erroneously adding charges to juice a little more money out of you before your loan is payed up. Use a better credit union, they didn't have this many 1 star reviews when I'd first got the loan.
If I can stress one thing, learn to get humans on the phone, 2 hours in hood doesn’t make customers happy.
Sold a guy an rv with an open and notarized title, for some reason Hughes requires me as the seller to spend hours and come down there and do paperwork so someone else can get a loan, now none of the branches have enough money to cash the cashiers check, evidently I have to make an appointment to get my money out of this bank! I have bought and sold numerous cars etc.before and never had this kind of issue, this place is a mess

Had an extremely awful experience with an off the clock associate this morning at the Thornydale Hughes location. At around 8: 45am 1/28. My husband & I got to the bank to make a payment and got there a little early about 15 minutes before they opened so we parked and were waiting inside our car. And an “associate” who wouldn’t give us her name or verify herself pulled up in her personal car up to our vehicle and demanded that we needed to leave the location until after they opened? When I asked for what policy there was that you could not be in the parking lot before opening considering there is a 24 hour drive thru atm and a 24 hour hour walk up atm and there is nothing posted outside regarding this she said “I don’t have the policy on me”, she also said that she is “always on call” and that she is able to ask people to leave this location before opening for her safety. We ended up leaving because we had no idea who this random lady that wouldn’t verify herself was, and was actually very scary that she decided to pull right up to our vehicle in her own personal vehicle and start demanding we leave. This is extremely unprofessional if this is what this location is training their employees to do and how to treat their members that have coming to this branch for almost 10 years. I would really appreciate if a manager would contact me regarding this policy and this associate who was extremely rude and disrespectful. We ended up driving back a little after opening and used the drive thru to make our payment and saw through the window that she is in fact a Hughes associate. Tried calling to speak to a manager and no one would answer.
