Hungry Howie's Pizza, Glendale AZ

I placed an order and they told me it was going to be from 20 to 40min. An hour passed by and nothing. Called in for the status of my order and they hung up on me and called in after 10 mins and they told me that the DoorDash people took it and lost it. Then proceeded to tell me about a refund and that it’ll take 3 to 5 business days. I’m hoping at least that’s not a lie because it’s unfair to leave customers like that.

Ordered online at 6: 52 PM for dinner and we have guest and party at home. They took payment plus delivery charge off my debit card. Their online system track says it's still making it! Ridiculous for 2 hours wait. I called their store, not a single soul would like to pick-up the phone and the recording just keeps saying things over and over again! This is the worse ordering experience we ever had! We could have ordered pizza in some place and avoid this nightmare! It was 9: 05 PM that evening and the party is almost over neither a call from Hungry Howie and not a crumb of pizza ever delivered to our home. It's embarrassing. The following day, they opened 45 minutes late versus what's indicated on their website and I have to go to their store personally and complained about their service from last night and asked for a refund for my undelivered pizza. The crew were so unfriendly, snapped and turned around. These female server needs to be trained in customer service since these two ladies in there were rude and the tech guy shunned us and said you can get your refund in 10 days! We are elderly people, and so as to avoid the stark rudeness of these people, we simply turned around and avoided this place leaving a bad reputation of a multi-corporation giant tainted by employees who needs to care the needs of their customer in return for giving them business.

The food was so good I loved it and the people were nice. The meat eaters pizza was my favorite.

We have ordered from there for several years. Never a problem. Then this last time we ordered the pizza was delivered by Doordash. If I knew that I would have picked it up. One pizza came with all the toppings slid off the crust into the side of the box. The salad was not fresh at all. The lettuce was all brown. I paid for delivery and left a tip and called the store. They were rude. Not going to give me my money back. She said she was a manager. Called the 800 number and they said they would get in touch with the owner about it. I never received a phone call, or email or refund. Will not order again.

I go to the counter to pick up my pizza and Howie bread, and I hear the chef say “who made this cinnamon bread? Oh well, it’s edible! ” When they brought out the bread they played dumb when I asked about my bread. I found it unprofessional, and yes, the bread was subpar. Pizza was good, so I’ll give it two stars.

The folks who work at the Hungry Howie's are always working hard to provide good service and good food. They are always friendly and helpful!

I always have a great experience food always bomb. I never get delivery tho, i always pick up.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE lady who we got or food from. She failed to call and let us know they were out of a lot of things, so when I got to the store she expected me just to not take anything at all. I switched salads and she got BENT outta shape saying why did I have to be so difficult, I explained my grand is on the spectrum and chicken salad didn't have all the extra stuff he didn't like. It was an accommodation I asked for because she failed to CALL me and let me know they had a lot of missing product.

Sometimes its best for the business to fail of sell it to someone who can run it professionally

First time coming in On a Tuesday Night! Employees Were Respectful and The Cook did a Very Very Great JOB!

Ordered delivery and the driver forgot my bread and sauce packets, waste of my momey and time. What a joke. They said they would being it back but completely forgot. Hence they took 3 hours to deliver. Worst howies ever.

This hungry Howie location is the worst they have Poor customer service and never have delivery drivers. They have hour wait’s for pick up’s they are just ridiculous.and it really sucks because hungry Howie‘s is one of our favorite pizza places but unfortunately We will no longer order from this store location

This is the 2nd location I've been to and usually only order their salads. Even after picking up and driving around in 110 degrees, I arrived home with fresh lettuce and a delicious salad. Both locations don't skimp on the topping and salads their are great

This was my first time ordering from this specific location. I wish I would've spotted the store sooner because I have definitely been missing out. My pizzas were hot, fresh, and tasted amazing. I'm going to go ahead and say it was the closest to perfection any of my takeout and or fast food meals have been lately. My family was equally satisfied.

I’ve been going here for a while maybe close to a year and I love it the employees are simply amazing people and very friendly if I hate to rate this out of 10 I’d give it 25/10

This store is ridiculous when it becomes 2 hours before close. If you come in 2 hours before closing. There is a 50/50 chance of being able to place an order. When you call in or walk in. You get told that the only way to order is online or through their mobile app. It's supposed to be done before 9: 00 p.m. As you can see this post is before that but I would still refuse service

Great tasting pizza! Friendly staff and there pricing was not to bad. EBT hot meals program is accepted here.
