I was recommended to come to ideal by my Lyft driver. I was nervous but I finally had gotten over the nervousness. I applied online and called.spoke with Colby and all I can say he was amazing! He went above and beyond! I highly recommend Ideal Cars

We bought a 2015 Jeep Grand cherokee in June of this year. Needed to get the oil changed, as well as needed some warranty work done. As we started doing a once over on the engine components, we discovered there was no air filter. THERE WAS NO AIR FILTER IN THE CAR THAT WE HAD DRIVEN FOR A FEW THOUSAND MILES. THERE WERE WIRE SNIPS IN THE AIR BOX WHERE THE FILTER WOULD BE. TOOK IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER THE NEXT DAY AND SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER ETHAN. LONG STORY SHORT, NOBODY SEEMED TO UNDERSTAND WHY IT'S SUCH A BIG DEAL TO NOT HAVE AN AIR FILTER IN A VEHICLE ESPECIALLY LIVING IN THE DESERT. THE SITUATION WAS TREATED AS IF WE SET IT UP. STILL HAD TO PAY A DIAGNOSTIC FEE. WHILE THEY HAD THE VEHICLE FOR ABOUT A WEEK, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE AN OIL CHANGE. PRETTY SURE THAT NEVER HAPPENED. OIL STIIL LOOKS DIRTY. "OIL CHANGED NEEDED" DUMMY WARNING LIGHT IS GOING OFF 2 WEEKS LATER AND "THE NEXT OIL CHANGE IS" STICKER WAS NEVER CHANGED ON THE WINDSHIELD. SUPPOSEDLY THEY CAMERAED THE INTERNALS OF THE ENGINE. ASKED TO SEE PICS BUT NEVER RECEIVED. HONESTLY, WE LIVE AN HOUR AWAY AND HAVE A 5 MONTH OLD BABY AND BOTH WORK FULL TIME JOBS. WE WERE GIVEN THE WIRE SNIPS BACK "IN CASE THEY WERE A FRIEND OF OURS" PER ETHAN, AS IF WE WERE MAKING THE WHOLE THING UP. NOR HAVE WE EVER HEARD FROM THE OWNER, DALE HUISH, NOT SURE THAT HE KNOWS OR CARES. HONESTLY NOT LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY, JUST UNDERSTANDING. THE LACK OF TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY IN THIS DAY AND AGE IS UNBELIEVABLE. WITH THAT SAID, WE DONT HAVE THE TIME TO BE LYING TO IDEAL CARS TO GET THEM TO FIX SOMETHING THEY F$=_;*& UP ON, WITH A WARRENTY THAT WE'RE PAYING FOR. REALISTICALLY, ALL WE WERE LOOKING FOR WAS ACCOUNTABILITY. WE KNEW WHAT WE WERE GETTING INTO BUYING A USED VEHICLE, BUT SERIOUSLY AN AIR FILTER. FOR ThOSE OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW, BOTH AIR AND FUEL CIRCULATE THROUGH YOUR ENGINE TO CREATE SPARK TO then CREATE COMBUSTION FOR THE PISTONS TO ROTATE. THE INNARDS OF AN ENGINE ARE A DELICATE PROCESS. WHEN YOU HAVE dust and debris contamination, it damages the inner walls of the engine/engine block and causes damage, and lessens the life of the engine.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Read all reviews before buying. These individuals sell Lemons 2-4 thousand dollars over listed price adding unnecessary service fees they will never enforce. Run as far away as possible!

I went today to look at a car they had listed. 2016 Scion. There were two instrument panel lights on when we drove it. We asked for them to be checked and were told they couldn’t do that until Monday. Then they drove it back somewhere in the back and came back and said that it was the battery. Except that’s not the icon indicator that was on. Then they said it was an oil change. After being so confused and stressed out I took it to a mechanic down the street who plugged it into his computer and said “Absolutely not. This car has so many problems. And don’t ever buy a car from wherever this car came from. ” Transmission, brakes, ac/heater, so many things that the mechanic didn’t even think it was safe to drive back to the dealership. I took it back and told them what the mechanic said and they said “Oh, weird. We’ll have to send it back to the shop. ” Ya. Ok.

After having the vehicle for almost 2 months, I’ve had a lot of issues with it even after being assured that there were no mechanical issues before purchasing, after 2 weeks of driving and discovering several issues with the vehicle, I’ve already had to take it in for service to PFG finance service dept and ideal cars service as well, the warranty fixed the mechanical issues but ideal car service dept. I’ve had to return multiple times and still the issues have not been resolved and have created new issues with the vehicle.

They took care of problems addressed before the purchase and subsequently after the purchase. Vehicle started smoking and found it to be the oil canister housing. Getting it fixed as I sit here typing.

The receptionist is amazing, personable, and funny. The lady I went on a test drive with didn't like that I was checking the car out for so long and in such detail. The finance guy is smarter than most give him credit for. All in all a good experience. Just don't have your license plates sent to a po box!

Car was posted $16,800 the finance manager said that was a cash price period After further investigation I found out that was a lie as it said $251 payments finance available on price. To add insult to injury they try to sell me on an upgraded sound system that didn't work and was incorrectly installed And this was the finance manager of all People. I was given of discounted price of $300 on a back window regulator that costs $340 through their service department. Upon my service appointment the attendant had a screwdriver in his pocket or something scratched My back door, tint, dash, and my windows on top of leaving the access to the window regulator wide open and missing most of the fasteners. I further investigated the vehicle found out none of the speakers worked which I can live with and then found out my windshield wipers sprayers are not Operable and my vehicle control button Does not work. I'm looking in the engine and alsoI found a screwdriver and multiple fuses missing which I've had to replace. I've had to also replace 2 windows switches which thank God. I was able to pick up at a discount rate at a salvage yard. I was swindled paid a thousand if not two thousand dollars over price and was lied to by the Finance manager of all people. The service department is lazy and does not have any pride and their ability to fix problems. I was left with more problems after the service appointment that I had going in and the discounted prices did not compensate for the money I had to put up. My recommendation is that as an osha officer I saw multiple hazards To employees and customers and a complete lack of safety or care for vehicles they sell. I do not recommend Ideal Cars, and will be filing a complaint with ADOSH come Monday morning due to the complete lack of safety and ability to unsafely operate a vehicle that was not safe for my children. In the back seat. I even waited 2 weeks giving them the benefit of the doubt, I was completely let down.

My daughter bought a car here and it had an issue 6 days after purchase. She called on day 10 to tell them but they couldn’t get it on their schedule to look at it until after the warranty window. On inspection day, they said they wouldn’t cover it because it was out of the warranty period. After they checked with their management, they called us to say that they would take care of it. I truly appreciate that they mean what they say and honored their warranty. I’m happy with their service and would highly recommend them!
