IHG Army Hotels Main Complex Buildings reviews
17Excellent service, They had alot to deal with, a full house all year long and amazing job keeping g up with everything.
I thought the rooms were well cleaned and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Only a couple times when the room cleaning seemed to be lacking
Excellent service and experience from staff. Brenda A.did a great job the 4 months I was here
While it's not the fanciest hotel it is overall very nice. Some bugs end up in your room but that's mostly because people leave the doors open. Staff is very friendly and made the stay excellent!
I am quite pleased looking back on my visit. The woman at desk, Petra was very nice and gave me some sound advice regarding the weather and the general climate in Arizona. Thanks for the great stay,
Mr. Joung.
The housekeeping staff was neat and always helpful and engaging, I always welcomed the morning, afternoon, and evening coffee. I look forward to another stay at the Candlewood.
Staff are the best thing about the old buildings where the IHG houses BOLC students. Buildings are older and not as nice as the main Candlewood but the staff keep them really clean and are super nice and helpful!
I've been staying here for about a month. Yes the hotel is outdated, no its not a huge deal. My biggest complaint of this hotel is solely the occupants as well as the method of dealing with said occupants.
Almost every night, preferably on weekdays I sit here all night listening to LTs going through the BOLC course scream all night with their door wide open. A vast majority of individuals staying at this hotel are attending some sort of course. Meaning most of us have to wake up at very early times. I understand the quiet hours are 1000, but there's a difference between saying someone's TV is too loud, and complaining that there are multiple grown men screaming down the hall at 10: 30 PM.
Because the attendants leave the IHG after 10: 00 PM, you get connected to the Candlewood. In my experience, following a complaint the same people are continuing to yell at the top of their lungs for the entire time. This did not feel like a hotel. Again, not because of the amenities, service, etc etc. But the occupants, and the occupants being allowed to act like complete 12 year olds. This felt like I was staying in a barracks room filled with E-3 PFCs.
I will never stay here again for this. Many lost hours of sleep, and a major loss of production attending my course due to these adults acting like children at ridiculous hours of the night on a weekday.
Ma'am Petra is very nice and keeps the bananas at the lobby at a cool satisfying temperature.thank you so much.
I stayed at the IHG on Fort Huachuca for a little over 4 months and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Yes, the Hotel is a little older and the building itself shows the age. However! The staff does everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. In terms of Army accommodations, this was BY FAR better than I am used to. Most importantly, the Staff is AMAZING! I Cannot say enough get things about the entire Front Desk Staff. My two personal Favorites are Ms. Petra and Ms. Karen! Both of them deserve a raise and a vacation. Can't wait to come back for CCC!
It was great stay at IHG army hotel, everything was awesome. Thank you IHG staff for making my stay comfortable.
Other than the fact that the hotel is outdated and lacks an elevator/carts/etc, it is clean and has decent customer service. Only the third floor has kitchenettes.
Wear a mask. The front lobby will quietly write your name down and tell your command that you didn’t wear a mask. You might have just had a long drive and just forgot, doesn’t matter. They will tell the command. If they don’t already have your name, they’ll ask you for it.
Despite that the staff is reporting students for not wearing masks, they don’t wear masks themselves. See photo below.
I truly enjoyed my stay here. The front desk and cleaning staff were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. The amenities are commendable and the accommodations are excellent. Many thanks to the staff for making the Fort Huachuca experience so much better.
Cleaning staff do a great job in this place. Brenda cleaned my room for my entire 4 months stay. She’s was very professional and did an amazing job.
The cleaning staff always did a great job cleaning my room every thursday! Staying at the IHG was quite and peaceful.
Definitely an older hotel, but the staff do a great job cleaning the rooms weekly and keeping with COVID-19 safety. They are all super nice and professional and the front desk is always willing to help with you lock yourself out of your room.
