IHOP, Tempe AZ

My 5 daughters took me out for bfast on Father's Day. Our first & last time @ IHOP on Rural & University. We were seated @10 a.m. Recvd breakfast at 11: 30-cold. We subsequently left. Mgr was apologetic saying they were short staffed, etc, but didn't offer up any concessions or even a 'future freebie. '
We ended up going to Einstein's! Good day w/ my girls!

I just moved close by and the 1st time u went it was horrible but in 2 weeks this IHOP had completely turned around, now they have a great staff. It's in the late night routine 4sho

The food was about what you would imagine. It's pretty consistent with the food you'd expect from IHOP. It was good, but not anything special.

I ordered the steak tips breakfast plate and it tasted good. Sweet, salty, steak-y.the reason they get 3 stars was that the service was annoyingly slow. I don't think the slow food was the servers fault, but we had to ask 3 times for more coffee and my toast took almost forever, so thats on the server.

Also, one of the people I was with ordered an omelet that was missing ingredients, which was disappointing and may have changed their order had they known the ingredient wasn't available. The poached eggs were overcooked, which makes them less enjoyable over toast (they also don't carry English muffins anymore.weird). But overall, it was a mediocre experience. The food was good, but nothing special but I would probably go back and eat there again.

We've usually dined in at this IHOP at around 3am.very quiet.rarely any people.only one waiter though.so if it was to get somewhat busy it can take a little longer to be assisted. At this location i haven't had any food quality complaints which is good. And even though is one waiter most of the time they bring the correct items.

Using their app made it easy to place my order. When I picked it up, the food was fresh and warm. When i want a good and hearty breakfast i can count on IHOP! I love their crepes with a side order of krispy hash browns.

On two different occasions I got my food delivered to my door and the forgot the gravy for my country fried steak. Have you ever had country fried steak without gravy? Oh, and they've forgotten bacon on at least 2 occasions as well.

Imagine waiting 45 minutes for curbside pickup just to have to walk in and find out your order’s been sitting there. Oh wait, that actually happened. Also, wrong pancakes.

EDIT: went back to see if they improved, used curbside pickup again, and they still took like 45 minutes. I called and they said they were “bagging up my order”. Yeah, maybe 20 minutes ago. Had to go inside and get it myself (again). DO NOT USE CURBSIDE PICKUP.

The staff is really polite and also recommends options in the menu if you're stuck. Service is a bit slow for sometimes, but the taste is excellent.

Friendly staff class service even when they stepped out for a smoke break and came back there was still stuff fresh and ready for me to go best IHOP I've ever been to thank you ladies for a great night.

Unfortunately the experience was all that great. Service was fine but it wasn't until me and my fiance got are food. Imagine craving something for months only (for me it was biscuits and gravy) only to be served lukewarm gravy and biscuits so hard that they minus well have been a puck in a game of hockey. Coffee was lukewarm, and was burnt. Table had syrup and the menus we received were covered in syrup as well. We did look over some of things to give this location a chance plus we were hungry. We will not be going back and sadly probably not going to be going to an IHOP for a very long time. If we really wanted to we could have din and dashed and they wouldn't even have noticed but that's not the kind of people we are.

Great service tonight. All the guys there did a fantastic job. Took my son for an early birthday dinner in which he enjoyed. I appreciate all their efforts. Will definitely be coming back again soon.

Cant complain about the service because there isn't any. Twice in one month I've been here because I was in the area. Both times I had to wait 20 minutes before I could even get water. Last time they were busy this time our waiter simply never showed up. It is faster to go to the store, cook everything at home and do my own dishes then it is to come to this location.

Super friendly staff but EVERYONE was new and training I feel bad because they were all working really hard and I have no doubt they are all going to catch on quick but this morning we were sat quickly but no silverware and 1 menu. Great coffee but no sugar or cream. Great tasting food but the wrong food. It went on and on.pancakes no syrup. You get the idea. We used 3 different employees to get everything thing we needed. Kitchen was on point everything to tasted great.

Food was good but.went around 5pm on Monday, literally the only customers and it took 45 minutes to get a couple pancakes

The worse services wasn't good at all. My food was super cold. I sat down quick but took someone 20 min to get our drinks then another 30 min to receive our cold food.never again
