Illegal Pete's - Tucson reviews
15Great food, similarly as great a vibe being created inside. Strive for greatness Illegal Pete's you!
Just what you would expect at this area - a student and game-day friendly bar with various options for a bite that goes along with having a drink. Several different spaces, both inside and outdoors.with the upstairs being worth of checking out. At the same time, some very aggressive patrons, hence not the full marks.
More fun and more fresh than Chipotle across the street. Staff is always helpful. They have a bar. It turns into a college kid bar atmosphere at night. Good place to watch football.
The service was so terrible I couldn’t believe my eyes. No one was washing their hands I had to go back 3 times just to get everything I was asking for on my bowl. I couldn’t even eat it, by the time I got home after a 10 minute car ride my food was cold and soggy. Definitely will not be back
They treat their employees like dogs. If they don’t like you they fire anyone and will make up reasons as to what they did wrong. This establishment uses their power and authority to be little their employees and inappropriately touch them. There is no excuse why a manager is touching their employees and speaking of private matters. This establishment needs new leaders and not more construction on the building. Fix the inside first. As well as the food being unseasoned and over or under cooked
There was bugs all over this establishment. They are dirty and disrespectful. I heard many inappropriate conversations from the workers and managers. I was highly disappointed in what I saw.
Good food, good prices. It can be a little hard to get a drink when the bar is even only partly full but the atmosphere is fun, with a you ger crowd and lively area.
Sean is amazing! This was our second time coming, and the service was great! The guys at the food area are so friendly!
Food is good.when served appropriately. Employees love to short-change you on serving sizes. After doing so, they will do everything in their power to try and charge you for "double" meat after serving you an extra small portion initially.
Five years ago, I went here for the first date with my now wife (we didn’t really know it was a date at the time!). The food is still spectacular, and the vibe is nice and calm. We both got the Baja fish tacos, which were fried to perfection! The tacos were light with the right amount of slaw and sauce, and we’d come back here any time, if we lived remotely near Tucson! Highly recommend Illegal Pete’s, but go on the early side as the line can get quite long at lunch.
Similar menu to chipotle but family says it was better. My sensitive stomach liked it better too.
Extremely rude employees. The food is good but just go across the street to chipotle and you’ll get the same thing for cheaper and the employees are way nicer. Wish I could say it’s a one time thing but I’ve consistently had multiple employees go out of their way to be rude. Manager needs to train them in basic manners. (Female with red dyed hair is the worst one)
Food is good, but pricey and every single time I order delivery, there is something missing from my order.
Cool environment! Dog friendly! The food is great! Similar to chipotle or qudoba but way better!
Great food with a wonderful location. The Baja Tacos are a must! You can do À La Carte with the tacos if you only want one or two. The staff are friendly and a up-beat ambiance makes for a enjoyable experience.
