22The doctors here are wonderful you just have to get past the front desk The people are rude.and arrogant to say the least
The only reason why this place isn’t getting a 1 star review is because the medical staff who conducted my appointed are wonderful, caring, and kind. However, the receptionists at the desk are so rude and have such an aggressive tone to all the guests when it’s apparent the guests are doing nothing wrong. One of them even has a cup mocking bipolar disorder, treating it like a joke when it’s a debilitating disorder that people suffer from. The fact that she works in a medical facility and thinks it’s a joke is incredibly offensive and disappointing. The receptionists are the face of the medical office— if they can’t even find the motivation to create a warm and welcoming environment for their patients, they should consider finding jobs that don’t involve customer service.
Be aware that patients who sign up for the patient portal will NOT receive your imaging or test results any other way. Our family has been with our primary care for years prior to the IMS corporate affiliation. We've always received results by phone. I assumed the portal was an added convenience for both patient and dr. My 86 yr old mother had complained of severe fatigue. A chest xray was ordered along with labs. We received NO results by phone lettting us know she had a lung nodule requiring a CT to investigate and labs indicating stage 3 kidney disease. If it were not for the fact that I wanted to print out her results just for her records (a month later), I would not have known. The medical asst was really rude putting it on me for not knowing we would no longer receive phone results despite the fact that it's not posted anywhere in their office or portal web page. It's not mentioned when it's suggested that you sign up.
In regards to: Dr. Steven Sumpter, DO (PCP) is very patient & a great listener with my mom. She feels very well cared for with her health concerns. Of all her doctors; she thinks he’s the best. ‘Very good person. ’ She doesn’t feel rushed & can relax with him. She feels like she is being heard. Very professional & knowledgeable. Thank you.
I just called the office and they put me on hold till they closed and now i cant schedule an appointment? WTF
If you're planning on going to IMS, nurse practitioner Kia Lambeth is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I had a lot of questions & she really put my mind at ease & took the time to hear me out & even came up with a plan for me. She is a prime example of having patience for her patients, something a lot of Dr's don't have now in days. If you ever want to be seen by her just know that you will be in great hands. I hope she stays here forever! I highly recommend her.
I've seen a lot of Doctors in my life time. Parking, scheduling, hold times.you get that every where. The Doctors are why you go. Believe me when I tell you Dr. Wolpert is who you want to see. Everytime I visit I am Confident he has my well being in mind and will do what's best for me. He is well informed and to the point. I am thankful to have him as my Doctor.
I've been on hold 8mins and still counting just to see about a doctors note.
Now it's been 17mins CRAZY
(Dr Sadek) Never ever ever tried this Hospital. Very very poor customer and you have to give 2 weeks ahead to appointment.if you're really sick you're going to die before seeing your doctor.
I missed my appointment now I have to wait another 2 weeks,
Dr. Kamel Sadek has no care in the world! Horrible experience and for me to think he was a good doctor. I have gallbladder stones and an ovarian cyst and 3 weeks nothing no call no freaking care I jumped mountains to try and help myself and nothing from this ims
The doctors seem to be very good. However, their phone system has gone from terrible to unusable. It is now impossible to reach them. There is nothing but muzak and messages that they value your time and will be with you right away. This goes on FOREVER. Maybe if you hold for a half hour somebody will answer but I'm not going to do that. It should be 2 min max.
This is a horrendous office. Stay away from this location. The front desk staff do not help. It's hard to get seen.
Dr.bhattacharya's office personal very unprofessional.i called was put on hold for 20 min only to be hung up on, and when I did reach someone, I was told it was my fault.bad business!
Called to schedule an appointment, and the lady that answered hung up on me after saying "just a sec. "
Everyone was very kind! Even let me do additional testing I wasn't scheduled for because of my situation. Very helpful. I did have to wait a long period of time but that is understandable. Well worth it. Keep up the good work!
My son had an appt.for April 21, but had to go to Urgent Care/ER yesterday for chest pain and shortness of breath. The doctor in the ER told him to follow up with his primary care physician. He called Dr. Sumpter's office today and was told they could not move up his appt.date and couldn't be seen. He really liked Dr. Sumpter but this is unacceptable. He is looking for another doctor.
Very Poor service, Ive never been treated so poorly. I visited the LabCorp suite 302 the man that was the receptionist there was extremely rude to everyone. It was VERY uncomfortable to experience and watch.
Horrific. Wrote letters of concern to management; never received a reply. Wrote letters of complaint and again, no reply. Was hung up on by a physician's assistant. Awful customer service.
WARNING!
Expect an average of a 10-15 minute hold EVERY time you call in.
That is not an exaggeration.
Also expect to schedule 3-4 weeks in advance.
Dr Sadek is professional but his staff and organization are seriously lacking.
His PA, Sadie Mueller encouraged me to use the IMS app for communicating and scheduling rather than acknowledging the unprofessionalism of their office.
. Their app was down for 2 months and has always been buggy.
I could go on with examples.
Love my Dr. BUT, IMS never, ever answers the phone. You can hold for hours and nobody picks up. You have to schedule in person, but be prepared to walk because parking is inadequate.
So frustrating! I only stay with them because my provider, Dr. Sadek, is worth it.
