J D Nails reviews
4Got a pedicure with callous removal. Also got a cute little palm frond design. I love it, it's so cute! And the lady was so nice and did a great job. She did clip a little too close on a couple of my friend's toes, but I think she was alone and a little stressed by then, it got really busy.
Nice people but not good work at all. I literally went home and had to fix them. I went in for a refill. I asked multiple times to fix my nails and the lady eventually handed me the file and told me to do it. I am very nice and sweet and tried to explain what I wanted in the most clear way, even showed the picture many times. I had to ask for short nails multiple times after not being listened to, and if they can sharpen the shape. They did neither. The nails were different lengths, they did not do my cuticles and you could still see the grow out from the last set underneath the acrylic even after polish. They would be a lot better if they listened to the customers asks and practiced more on doing great nails. I wish I took pics before I fixed them.
SCAM/RIPOFF. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED & BAD SERVICE. I just moved into the area so I was hoping that this might be my new go to shop. I read the reviews online & some were pretty bad so I figured I would call to see what I was up against. I asked for a morning appointment bc I was busy in the afternoon and was told "No, I would only be allowed to come in during the afternoon. ". Then I told her that "I was only going to need a full set of acrylic nails & that I did not need a manicure or any Polish" (didn't mention that I'm a nail tech too & would just finish at home for cheaper, I just wanted them to put this set on because they can do it faster from start to finish & I have a bunch of stuff I have to do today, figured I was going to do clear gel polish on my own at home & that'd be fine.) First she said that it would cost $40 but it sounded a little muffled And I couldn't really hear her very well so I asked her to repeat what she had said the price was & she changed it and said the price was $45 so I called her out on it "So 1st you said the price was $40 now you're saying it's $45 & that's only for a full set of acrylics that's not including a manicure or any nail Polish & you're not willing to help me with an appointment around the schedule that I need to be on? " & she said "Yes! " Lmao TERRIBLE.
Literally, don't waste your time at this shop. There are better shops near the college just a little bit south. (Dobson & Broadway or Dobson & Southern). Those shops near the college will do better work for cheaper w better products and a wider range of services at lower cost & all while offering excellent customer service.no need to settle for this treatment. Hopefully this helped. Have a great day ladies, gents & others
