J & Gios Barbershop, Phoenix AZ

I have been coming here for 4 years. There are definently some barbers who know their stuff and others who. I have my graduation photos this week and I came here to get a cut, they were cutting my hair and faded me up really nice. I was contnet, it was not till the last few minutes, where they decided to try something new with my hair, they recommended that I cut a part of my hair, I did not want this and I was visibly uncofmrtable and said no. The lady who cut my hair was so insistent and this would be my bad, but I'm very shy and I did not want to say to stop or futher say no once I said it once. Overall, this is frustrating cause now I don't know what to do for my photos.

This was by far the worst barbershop I have been to. I took my child here to get his haircut and it was the worst haircut I have ever seen. It was not at all what I asked for. They made him nearly bald and his line up in the front was so crooked. After I had asked the lady to fix the line up since it was very noticeably crooked, she said no and ignored what I said and rushed me out of there. She was very rude and unprofessional. Not sure how she got a license to cut hair but my 4 year old could have done a better job at cutting his own hair.

Took my son for a hair cut and clippers had to be dirty he has a lot of bumps in his forehead where he gets the line. It's been 3 weeks and looks like there spreading. So disappointed. Now his hair looks long but will have to wait until they are completely gone to get a new hair cut. I will not be going back.

They do a phenomenal job and have great dedication to making sure each haircut and all other services are done so that you look and feel good.

One of the best shops ever. I've been coming here for 2 years. I've moved away but it's still worth the 20 min drive just for a cut!

We’ve been going to this place for almost 7 years now. My husband has very difficult hair and could never find anyone to do it right.
Rebecca does an excellent job and the price is just right. My son goes with Janeth and she also does a great job. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I feel horrible to bash on this barbershop but they completely messed up my sons hairline they seriously gave him an extra forehead poor kid first year going to junior high they didn't even acknowledge there mistake or show remorse would recommend going elsewhere

Every time I took my son to there, the price is different it. It ranges between $17-20. He gets the same kind of hair cut each time we went.his hair line was so messed up on his last hair cut he looks like he has extra forehead on one side.

Was like my 3rd time going tried giving them multiple chances because its close by to where i live so its convenient but this last time was the deal breaker. I had asked for a simple cut because the older guy always messed up my usual medium skin fades and he still couldnt cut my hair. He cant do no line ups or nothing without breathing hard and strung only for ut to come out bad. My last time going horrible “barber” they definitely need real barbers!

They need to stop calling a barbershop when they don’t know how to cut the hair right. The people are nice the place is always clean. But They don’t know how to do a taper or a fade.

3/3 times came here and had the same older gentleman cut my hair. He spent most of the time watching t.v and losing focus while cutting my hair. He messed up on a simple high skin fade just the sides and ended up fading a side part. I will not be coming back. A 15 min haircut came to be about 40 mins he kept pausing and stoping to watch t.v. I had to go home and buzz a 3 on top just to make my skin fade look even.

The lady dyed my hair the wrong color then when I mentioned it she dyed it again but charged me for her mistake. She also gave me different bangs than what I asked for, and she cut my hair into short layers even though I told her to leave my hair the length it was. I came out looking like a grandma from the 60s. Now I gotta fix it how I can with styling tools and wait for it to grow out. I am devastated because I have a date coming up
I won't be coming back here again.
