James D. Kriegh Park reviews
23Beautiful park! It has lots of shade. The only draw back is folks who walk their dogs without a leash and I also noticed dogs who are unattended.
This is where we've always done t-ball in Little League and everything and it's really nice park. The playground is super nice and well maintained, and the fields are always in good condition. The league is the one who maintains the fields a lot of the time. But it's super family friendly. And the game's always free if you want to bring little ones to come watch the games that go on here I've seen soccer softball and baseball. Plus if there's games there's a snack bar that's open too. And if you ever curious the snack bar all of the profit 100% goes back to CDO little league.
Nice park. Great place to play with the kids. Has a nice swimming pool, a little bit more than the YMCA in price. Only open for lap swim due to pandemic.
Love the park.if they made some true softball fields, I am sure director's from originations would come to Tucson and use the fields to throw tournaments. Very beautiful view of the mtns & hotels are near by along with food. This area has lots of potential to bring money into Oro Valley.
I work at the Aquatic Center on Mondays, I teach deep water fitness for all fitness levels. The place is clean and the pool is amazing!
Bustling park with water and public bathrooms. Racquetball lights don't work and they never fix them so -2 stars for bad city maintenance.
Forgot how nice this park is. We used to go here a lot for baseball when our kids were younger. Great park close to the base if the mountain.
The park is always nice to take the kids to play. It is also a really nice place to get in a leisure walk, walk your dog, or a power walk. The grounds are always clean and well kept. If you want to take a splash in the pool, the water is nice and there’s a slide for the kids! Check ours because there are a couple swim teams that practice there.
Great park. Been going there all my life, and it's always a good time! Make sure to check out the Oro Valley Aquatics Center right beside it on hot summer days.
Love taking my son to this park. It’s picturesque and very clean. During the week and even weekends it’s not too packed and the views are gorgeous of the mountains. They have awesome jungle gyms, swings, lots of green areas for kids to play.
Fun water park, but its kind of buy for bring in little kids. They shut down half of the pool for swim lessons, and there is only limited space for the rest of us that go to play. The water was clean, and didn't have a bad chemical smell. The kids splash pad looked very old and calcium covered. Many of the features didn't work, and it was very small.
Gets buggy at night. 4 stars because there were dead roaches in the water. Other that that, it is good
Went to a birthday party here. Place was amazing. Splash area for small kids and slide for bigger kids. They do have diving boards.
Nice place to spend a Saturday with the family. Clean, well kept facility with friendly high school age life guards. Just no running. Haha I'm just Joshing. And not Joshing about running you should never run at a pool. I'm joshing in regards to the context in which I said it. But I mean, now having explained the reasoning behind the quip it doesn't seem as funny. In any case, good public pool with a slide and high dive. Enjoy.
WARNING: AGGRESSIVE DOG BETWEEN 7 AM AND LATER. OWNERS NAMED JOAN DOGS NAMED OCTAVIAN. OWNER ALLOWS HER DOG TO ATTACK AND WILL NOT PULL OFF. GOOD LUCK!
Pavilion near the playground is great for birthday parties, especially if you can grab it for free before anyone else does.
Always a fun little place to relax arms enjoy the hot sun. Only wish they had a little bigger area with tables and chairs.
I paid them a lot of money to teach my two kids how to swim it was on July 2017 the course was for one month 2 days a week but the reality was not worth it at all because each time choose raining they close the pool and the class for that day will be canceled for tomorrow take late I asked them too late my kids just a swim another days even without teacher and they will refusing the teacher was about 20 years old she was rude and I even wasn't able to cancel. I will never recommend the them to teach kids swimming.
Uh so right next to it is the aquatic center which i swim at with my team but anyways, they have a volleyball net, swings, monkey bars, and regular playground material. There are shaded picnic tables for a nice outdoor party, racquetball courts, a baseball field, and what i'm pretty sure is a kickball field. There is a nice little loop through the park for a walk, nothing hard, it's just on a side walk
