I was told my car needed $2,400 worth of work (timing belt and water pump replacement, plus a replacement of the entire power steering system). I took my car to other shops, and it turns out all I have is a bad bearing in my alternator and a leak in one of my power steering hoses, which is what I suspected. I'm spending $400 to fix my car rather than $2,400, after this shop wrote me a quote for $2,400. See attached quote, as the owner's response (below) is inaccurate.

Visiting Tucson and needed an oil change as the dealership had over a 5 week time frame to get one. Service was very friendly and professional and really appreciated the lack of upselling as well as photos of any suggestions of recommended services.

Wyndell and the team at JT Auto are amazing! My daughter brought her 2013 Hyundai Sonata in for service just before closing time since it was making a horrible noise and they looked at it right away. First thing in the morning my daughter received a full report including photos of what was found and what needed to be fixed and the car was done before the end of the day. Wyndell explained everything in detail and was very professional and kind. We will definitely be using JT Auto for all future maintenance! Thank you Wyndell and everyone at JT Auto!

Had work done on my car earlier this year (February/March 2023) and they gave me a one-year warranty on the parts replaced. Fast forward to July 2023, and the same part needs to be fixed so I call to make an appointment. Due to the owner having a sudden personal vendetta against my boyfriend over hear-say. They blocked not only his number but mine and no longer will honor their warranty. The worst shop I’ve ever worked with. The owner is rude and disrespectful, mechanics are decent but prices are outrageous so the fact they won’t honor the warranty and flat-out block my phone number instead of TELLING ME NO is just ridiculous on their part. Never referring people to this company again.

The service I received at JT Auto exceed my expectations. The professional service and workmanship was a 10. Their care of customer safety was amazing. I would recommend all my friends and family to see the crew at JT Auto.

The car inspection that they give you i enjoyed how updated it was all i did was click a link in a text! I could see my car rating and what things where wrong! Definitely coming back and recommend!

This is the only shop I take my car to in Tucson, they always get my car work down correctly and are upfront about all issues on my car, the solution, cost and what's the most important to take care if on a budget! I recommend this place to anyone!

I have 2 daily drivers and 2 classic cars. I try to do the majority of the work on the cars myself, but sometimes the labor, effort or experience required is outside of my abilities.

JT Auto and Wendell's quotes and prices for work and parts have always been spot on what I was expecting to pay before I went for the estimate. They also stand behind their estimate. I've met many of their techs. All good people.

Sometimes they find more things that require attention and they've never been wrong. They have found other issues with my cars I didn't know about until I saw it for myself and they saved me more grief in the future.

It's hard to find good shops and the only negative thing I can say is that their honest business model will eventually make them too busy for me to be able to get my own cars in.

Wendell was so nice, he accessed my car and found a couple little things and did not charge me anything for his time. I will definitely use JT Auto from now on.

We are from Minnesota spending February in Tucson. Early in our stay a dashboard light illuminated indicating "service engine" on our 2018 Acura MDX. JT Auto is right around the corner from our rental house so I stopped to ask about doing a diagnostic regarding the dashboard light. Windell attached the OBD tool and told me the code required further diagnostic work. He was able to get the car in the next day. After further diagnostic work they discovered a faulty oxygen sensor. The part came in the next day and it was installed promptly. The service was not inexpensive but Wendell and his staffI did a great job getting the car repaired. Being from out-of-town I thought we were ripe for a rip-off repair but, I feel, Wendell did an honest repair and accommodated our situation extremely well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his work to anyone. I hesitate to think what this diagnostic and repair would have cost at the Acura dealer.

Took my truck to JT automotive, Wendell explained to me what the problem was, how much it would cost, and when to expect the work to be done. Not only did he do all the things listed above, He replaced a few things without any additional change. Thanks JT I’m praying this is the last and only place that ever touches my vehicles.
