JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa reviews
26I had a wonderful stay here for a girls' weekend. The lazy river was so relaxing and fun! Especially with a pina colada in hand. Many guests had noses sticking out of their masks. The rooms were comfortable. There is no room service and the spa is closed, which was disappointing. The service was globally friendly and energetic. The food at the restaurants was better than most hotel restaurants. I would absolutely recommend this resort for a fun getaway.
Free tequila shot? Count me in! Good drink selection and food choices. Not terribly expensive and great service.
Extremely well run place that is worth every penny. Don't have one complaint the staff were amazing and helped us whenever was needed we will definitely go back.
We use to love coming here, but service has gone down. You are no longer allowed to order food from other restaurants while sitting in the lounge fireplace area. They don’t give you s’mores anymore. They stopped doing the popcorn. The waiters treat you very second class. Really disappointed, this use to be our favorite spot.
My wife and I stayed here whilst in Tuscon for a few days and were very happy. Unfortunately it was too cold to spend any time in the pool, but they looked very nice. The food at the restaurants was very good, pleasantly surprised there. The room was nice as well, we had a good view of the golf course and the bed was fairly comfortable. Overall it was a good stay.
Rude CSR on Dec 31 2018 at 7am.hollered at me, "why didn't you show up" as I was trying to explain that I thought I had canceled the Reservation #77123341 and wanted her to waive the "no-show" fee. I asked her name and didn't provide. Said Happy New Year in a rude tone and abruptly hung up.then tried to contact Hotel Mgr for assistance to no avail. Don't EVER stay here. First time ever I have had problems with a Marriott property and I'm a Marriott member and have always stayed at Marriot properties. Your people and staff display how you run your hotel
This has got to be one of the most beautiful property as far as resorts go in Tucson. Coming here for a family vacation was so relaxing and the pool area plus the lazy river were all a definite plus!
I wish I could give 5 stars, but the parking situation was terrible. Valet $25 a day. If not valet you park on the street or in the parking garage. The parking garage is at the other end of the resort so you will walk a little ways to the main area and rooms.
I picked up a bunch of cigarette buts outside my room door someone had tossed on the ground, and had them sitting in a bottle waiting for house keeping to toss them. I was charged $250 for smoking in a room I didn't smoke in! When I contacted the manager to explain what happened, he had no interest in listening. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
JW Marriott Tucson Star Pass boasts spectacular views, outdoor fireplaces and mobile furniture. This is a fantastic place to relax with friends or business contacts if your looking for close to town seclusion with a cityscape view.
So this is during construction and over Christmas. The staff was wonderful and amazing. The hotel is having some construction taking place but over Christmas the construction workers were not present so I have no idea how the noise leveos were. The pools were awesome and all of that but this hotel is knows for it's views and it's staff. The views of nature are amazing. Breathtaking and just stunning. The staff I assume we're short-staffed because of the holiday but you would never notice because the whole week felt like the A-team. Love this place when we visit Tucson and we will be back again.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The place was very well kept. They have every amenity you would need.
The wonderful hotel has amazing amenities, settled in the monsoons just outside of Tuscon. Good is great, service was excellent and the view is amazing. Multiple pools and outdoor areas make it feel private even when it's completely booked.
Great amenities. The lazy river and pool are great and were not crowded which was great (over the weekend). Great location, there's some great hiking trails next to the hotel. Only 15 minutes to downtown Tuscon.
Over promises, underdelivers! Our 5 and 8 year old were excited to play in the kids club and it definitely doesn't get used ever. Nothing worked and seemed dirty. Don't advertise amenities that you can not deliver.
Beautiful hotel that has a great staff that's always there to support you and provides exceptional customer service!
Excellent hotel! I came here for a week long conference. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are so many outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, golf, etc.) that you'll never be bored!
Friendly staff and beautiful resort! The fruit infused water available daily until 10pm is an absolute PLUS!
Trouble with our suite. They overbooked and gave our suite away. They put us up in another place that worked but it was not what we originally booked.
I had a wonderful experience at the Starr Pass Resort. The scenery was beautiful. The staff were professional and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable.
