They followed up in less than an hour of my leaving a voice mail and are getting us in for our first evaluation session tomorrow morning. They are very professional and come extremely highly recommended from our veterinarian's office. I look forward to working with them to help us integrate a new younger dog into our "pack" of two older dogs.

Not a good interaction for a canine evaluation / introductory meeting. I had my dog restrained with a choker collar and a leash when the male trainer entered my home. I was immediately asked to put my dog away. My dog was not aggressive in any manner. He wasn't barking, growling or anything. This infuriated me and I said I was done then took my calm dog outside. My wife wanted to continue the evaluation/ meeting and was told by the male trainer that he could not continue without me. At that point my wife became irritated and asked him to leave. This is not what we expected at all. This was a waste of our time and a complete disappointment in what we thought would be an evaluation and explanation of services.

I sent a request through Thumbtack and received an immediate response. Was able to schedule the evaluation quickly and at my convenience.

Very prompt responses. We communicated back and forth via text. Evaluation is free and the $35 fee covers gas and travel which I think is fair. It will be an evaluation for us too of Tom the owner doing the evaluation on our dog Molly as I believe she is fearful of men.

K9Katelynn dog training is simply a great company to hire for your positive reinforced dog training. He helped my wife and I take on the training of two rat terrier puppies. I don’t know what we would have done without the very professional guidance. To make it even more impressive (due to an illness I had to leave my place of work) K9 gave me a refund of all unused lessons. They were under no obligation to do this. K9 did it quickly sending me the money in a cashiers check. A truly professional company.

We adopted a neglected/abused 9 month old Labradoodle. This poor guy had no confidence and was not socialized. We needed help training him.

Tom (K-9Katelynn) is an experienced trainer and has a good understanding of canine behavior. We took notes each of the six training sessions and keep them as a reminder. We continue to practice with Louie (our dog). In the beginning 65 lb. Louie would not walk on a leash. We had to carry him to his first vet visit. Using Tom's techniques, we taught Louie his basic commands. He has gained confidence and has become accustomed to people in social situations. We are very happy we asked for help and received it! READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FIRST! Most of this company's reviews are from people who haven't even had sessions yet, and were most likely incentivized. We hired him to help with our reactive dog and most of our sessions were spent taking notes with our dog being locked in a room. He barely interacted with her over the course of 6 sessions. All we worked on was "come", "sit", and "down". Our first session was just talking, with no interaction with the dog at all (after already having a consultation and evaluation) and him giving us a list of things we should buy. If you're trying to train any dog with "issues" look elsewhere.

Our vet recommended K9Katelynn for training our new puppy. Contacted them by their contact page on their website. Almost immediate email response. In setup initial meeting they were very flexible in accommodating our schedule. Looking forward to meeting and working with them.

K9Katelynn has been very responsive to visiting us for our initial consultation; Especially since We have very chaotic schedules. We have 2 older dogs and adopted two 1 yr old labradors.
